Debbie, the owner, responded to a request for a day off from the lady who works there. She's just a 17-year-old high school student, a minor. She's sometimes worked a 16-hour shift for Debbie and has never asked for a day off before. This kind of behavior and response is really concerning and seems a bit extreme. She's such a great kid, a very hard worker, and it's clear she's not going back to work there.

I feel like the prices have gone up, and I've had a few issues with ordering. One being that I called ahead for a blueberry bagel and a French toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese, only to find out when I arrived that they were out of both bagels and didn't have the cream cheese either. I'm not a Karen I hate to leave a bad review but it's kinda ridiculous. I felt bad because the employee was clearly trying to help, but I wish there was a better way to know when something is unavailable before placing an order. Because this has happened more than once. They had 3 bagels to choose from that were left, salt, onion and plain and it wasn't even near closing. Lately, it's also been difficult to get through by phone? Bc it doesn't ring. So u need to order in store and wait there. And than I've had a few occasions where the bagels didn't taste fresh. The everything bagels are so lightly seasoned that they almost look plain, and taste it. I really don't blame the girls working there. They're always busy and clearly work very hard. I've always liked C&D's and being so close to home was a huge convenience, which is why I've continued coming back. I just hope some of these things can improve because I'd genuinely like to keep supporting this buisness but with everything I just listed it just seems to be a continuous issue
