Is this even a croissant? I ordered a croissant with butter but it wasn't appealing to eat!
Jervilyn J.

We, too have a love hate relationship with this place! Surprisingly we still order in hopes that we get something correctly made. For the past year, the service and food has sadly gone down in quality. The young staff who make the food seem apathetic about how the food is prepared, not caring about customer satisfaction, as if they don't seem to care about their jobs. There is a sense of rush and disgust in their voices when we call in to order, as if calling in our order is a burden for them. We have been going to this place for years and want to continue however it's difficult when you start your day off with breakfast that isn't up to par.

Basically nude, not worth it

This is a spot in Warwick that I really just want to like a support as it's a local business, but really I just can't. Are the bagels good? They are definitely okay, not the best in Warwick but good. They really annoy me with how they add spreads to bagels though. Went in yesterday, got a bagel with butter for my mom and a bagel with scallion cream cheese for myself. The buttered bagel was saturated so completely with butter. It was all over the top and bottom of it, as well as the aluminum packaging. For the scallion cream cheese it's a whole other story. Literally had nothing on it. A bagel here is about $1.25, for scallion cream cheese it's $3+. If I'm paying two dollars for the "fancy" cream cheese I would expect to actually have some on it. So disappointing and not worth it when you can just purchase a container of it from this place for around $5.

Great bagel selection

Visiting the area from Brooklyn and very pleased to find a bagel shop nearby. My husband and I both got an everything bagel with cream cheese - his with scallion flavor and bacon strips. We eat bagels often in Brooklyn and I'd say these bagels are comparable to any good Brooklyn bagel. They're not super dough-y, which I like and the cream cheese ratio was just right. I'll have to come back and try the French Toast bagel and some of the sweet pastries. Great go-to spot for take out or a casual laid back dine-in experience.

Small iced coffee??? With a jumbo straw.

What a weird experience, so Awkward ... the lady behind the counter was probably in her early 40s with the worst ppl skills I've ever seen. So unprofessional to me, I think she might of been extremely medicated because it didn't seem like she knew anything which if that's the case i apologize. But she shouldn't be serving patrons in my opinion. Also this is what they serve their small iced coffees in?? Invest in real iced coffee cups. So cheap.

This is apparently a "bagel with cream cheese".

G's Warwick Diner - DISGUSTING chicken!!

G's Warwick Diner

Horrific experience. As a resident of Warwick for many years, G's has sat in town for quite some…read moretime with a repetitive history of ownership changes & closures the past few years. I assure you, there's a reason they continuously change management & owners every few years (P.S. It doesn't get better). Irrelevant to my visit, however public record shows that in a most recent inspection, G's received a critical (red) violation for Item 4A, Toxic chemicals being improperly labeled, stored, or used in a way that can contaminate food. Critical (red) violations such as these are issues that inspectors claim will likely cause food-borne illness/contamination. Anywho, back to my experience: A couple months back, we were very excited to try the new diner, with high expectations & a glimpse of hope for another remarkable, classic diner right in the heart of Warwick, boy could I have been more disappointed. When we first arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome at the door, which is the highlight of my visit. I initially noticed before walking in, it was easy to see there was a significant lack of foot traffic, which was confusing for a new restaurant around dinner time. Despite this, we were seated & brought menus, and ordered around 8 or so minutes later. I ordered the grilled salmon, while my mom ordered a burger of some sort. We also got an order of fries. While waiting patiently for our food, I noticed our waiter seemed a little stressed, and then I noticed there were staff standing in the open on their phones, yet I thought nothing of it considering they could've been on break. The real horror comes after the food is brought over. The grilled salmon was fine, and the burger was okay, the fries were revolting. Incredibly greasy, somewhat soft and mushy, and I'm confident that the oil used was expired. Shortly after this visit, I was sick. Which doesn't surprise me. Don't let any of the 5, 4, or even 3 star reviews fool you, this restaurant is not worth it. Country Dream, Fannie's, Greenview Tavern, Cracked Pot, all these are better alternatives, look elsewhere from G's people! Never returning.
