Went today. Could hear a member of the staff yelling as I was walking across the parking lot. Since she never stopped ranting and raving throughout my waiting for my order to be prepared, I pretty much know the entire story. Apparently, her nemesis has been fired but her anger is still raw. I have been a customer for years. I am not an everyday regular, but when I want to get a quick breakfast or lunch sandwich, while I am out running errands, this is where I go. I have always had a good experience here. I will usually get a bacon, cheese and egg on a toasted everything bagel, or if it's lunchtime I usually get roastbeef with tomato and mayo on a Kaiser roll or an everything bagel. Coffee is always fresh and hot. I've never been disappointed...always delicious and prices are reasonable. And if I need bagels for a brunch or event, I am hosting, I order an assortment of sliced, mini-bagels, the day before and they have them ready for the time I request. We, too have a love hate relationship with this place! Surprisingly we still order in hopes that we get something correctly made. For the past year, the service and food has sadly gone down in quality. The young staff who make the food seem apathetic about how the food is prepared, not caring about customer satisfaction, as if they don't seem to care about their jobs. There is a sense of rush and disgust in their voices when we call in to order, as if calling in our order is a burden for them. This is a spot in Warwick that I really just want to like a support as it's a local business, but really I just can't. Are the bagels good? They are definitely okay, not the best in Warwick but good. They really annoy me with how they add spreads to bagels though. Went in yesterday, got a bagel with butter for my mom and a bagel with scallion cream cheese for myself. The buttered bagel was saturated so completely with butter. It was all over the top and bottom of it, as well as the aluminum packaging. For the scallion cream cheese it's a whole other story. Literally had nothing on it. A bagel here is about $1.25, for scallion cream cheese it's $3+. If I'm paying two dollars for the "fancy" cream cheese I would expect to actually have some on it. So disappointing and not worth it when you can just purchase a container of it from this place for around $5. read more

Visiting the area from Brooklyn and very pleased to find a bagel shop nearby. My husband and I both got an everything bagel with cream cheese - his with scallion flavor and bacon strips. We eat bagels often in Brooklyn and I'd say these bagels are comparable to any good Brooklyn bagel. They're not super dough-y, which I like and the cream cheese ratio was just right. I'll have to come back and try the French Toast bagel and some of the sweet pastries. Great go-to spot for take out or a casual laid back dine-in experience. read more

Super disappointed with how this place has declined in the past few years. I've been going here for years and the quality has changed tremendously. Came the other day for bagels and the older girl who works there was ignoring the line the whole time separating tips in the middle of a lunch rush at the counter while all of the customers watched. The same lady has been consistently unpleasant and utterly rude with this awful look of disgust on her face the whole time each time we've been there recently. Unfortunately the past few times we've been here shes been working and makes it seem like you're bothering her by ordering. This time watching her count tips while the younger girls on the staff waited on the counter was unacceptable. Not sure why the owner allows people like this to run her business while she's gone. The bagels were so drenched in cream cheese it was inedible and the bacon egg and cheese sandwiches were burnt and skimpy. We ended up throwing more than half of our food away. Unfortunately we won't be back but wish this local business luck and hope they change things up to bring it back to what it once was. read more

I went in for a cup of coffee and a bagel, When I went to pay and told only cash.. I don't normally use cash I pay with a credit card... Then inconvenience of going back out to my vehicle to acquire cash( Did not sit well with me) Upon right my return I recommended putting only take cash sign on the door.. A curly haired blonde in overcoat said to me we don't have control of that it's our boss that dictates this... I said too though you're an employee maybe you should mention it to your boss.. The coming I received a whre was unprofessional as an employee and me being a customer( I shouldn't have such a attitude and walked away..) The Young lady at the register with straight hair blonde with reddish hair was very apologetic for the whole situation.. Place was empty, not a soul around at about 11am on a Sunday morning. Ordered 2 bacon, egg, cheeses on soft rolls. Pretty simple, straight forward stuff, right? After an inordinate amount of time waiting, out came 2 of the skimpiest sandwiches I'd ever seen. 1 fried egg on each, 1 slice of bacon (cut in quarters) and 1 slice of cheese on each. He has helped my husband and I prior to today, and he's been incredibly nasty, but that was nothing compared to today. He was so many different shades of evil, I can't even begin to explain. Well, I used to be a customer. For the second time in a row...second time in a row...I was completely ignored by the young woman behind the counter. For the second time this month, my valuable commute time was selfishly put on hold so that the cashier could continue to skype\facetime while on the job...while I, along with another woman, waited in awe. I've never been so blatantly disrespected as a customer before! I must say, over the past two years of grabbing breakfast on my morning commute, the service has been extremely friendly. However, enough is enough. Aside from my personal incident here, I've spoken to a few coworkers who also have their grievances. Some complaints; no consistency, some days/weeks they have certain products or flavors that by the time you decide to try them, they're gone and never to be seen again. Some have also complained about obvious price discrepancies. Prices vary greatly depending on who is there that day, or where the sandwich is displayed on which board. Finally, the prices don't match the setting. Things haven't changed or been replaced in what looks like a century. read more
