Have been to this place many times and usually don't have a problem, however this time they gave me bacon in my sandwich which tasted absolutely rancid and made me almost throw up. It's smelled terrible and now I have a headache. If you like rancid bacon and racism I suggest you go to this place. I'm writing this review expressly because I moved away, and this is among the bagel shops I miss the MOST. I grew up in northern NJ and discovered this bagel shop shortly before college. Every time I visited home, I'd make the trek to Lafayette and try a different flavor. The classic Taylor ham egg and cheese is so good here. Bagels are your typical north Jersey bagel, which is to say that they're DELICIOUS. Fluffy, but with a bite. Great texture. They've got the boiled sheen on the outside. Flavored bagels are well made. Toppings are flavorful but not overpowering. Coffee is good too. Workers were always friendly. I miss this place. I'm literally sitting here eating a North Carolina bagel, wishing it was from Bagful O Bagels. read more

Very good bagels in a shop where you can see the dough mixing - like you're walking into an active bakery - because you are! Good variety and quicker service than Bagel Station down the street (I'm a fan of both). Also has a larger seating area if that's your thing in bagel places. Personally I'm not. Been coming here since a was in high school and I'm almost 30. I probably bought the owner a car by now on THEC at a time. I still live in Sparta but the complete opposite end. Really loved the HUGE freshly baked onion bagel with delicious tuna fish, crunchy celery and onions! Savored this huge tasty bagel sandwich till Route 80! I really like the bagels here, however, I gave it only 3 stars because of their choice of a paper bag for the bagels. After keeping the bagels in a bag for just a day, it dried out and was almost inedible. Needless to say, most of them went to waste. It would still be "Bagful of Bagels" of they used a plastic bag and would stay moist longer rather than a brown paper bag. I haven't really had anything else here so I cannot really comment. I'm very sad to report that one of my favorite local Deli / Bagel shops has today revealed they are not interested in the safety of their customers. While waiting to pickup my order, I noticed an unmasked customer literally hanging into and around the owner and staff joking and milling around near the bagel production area. There was approximately four to five other customers, all wearing masks, in the shop. When I asked him where his mask was, he reached in his pocket and defiantly held it up to show me. I asked him why it wasn't on his face and he became irate with me... asking me if I was a Democrat? The owner was witnessing this exchange and instead of demanding that the person put on his mask... I was asked to leave. The owner of this establishment has no right to endanger the lives of each patron and the families and friends of these patrons. Please try to remember this place is definitely unsafe when deciding where to eat. You will no doubt be risking your life and the lives of your loved ones and friends. read more
