Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. My point is, they knew when to move on and keep things fresh. They rebuilt this wonderful store and it already has been renovated since to keep things new again over the years. I can't wait to see what they come up with for the next 20 years! Putting innovation aside and looking at their offerings, I found a few hard to find spirits, beer, and wine here over the years. The staff is very willing to order you a special bottle if you can't find it in their store's inventory and will research it for you (as long as it's a product any ABC has access to). There is also a cigar humidor room and they carry mixers, cocktail garnishes, glassware, gift sets and snacks. They do price match if you're into that. They also have a shoppers rewards club that will get you cash off, but it's hard to use even though they ask you if your a member every time you purchase something. If you are into microbrews and import beer they used to stock a lot more than they do now, but you can find just about all the common stuff you can think of. If you are just looking to try something different, there's plenty to try out stocked on the shelf. Huge place, but still easy to navigate because it's not a warehouse store. Nice selections. Good prices (really good if you find sale items you drink or want to try.) Great customer service. Lastly, if you use the online ordering (can't wait for an App to be developed) you can browse, order, and pay online then drive up, stay in your car, call the number to let them know you're in the designated parking spot and they will bring it out to you. Some of these thing's include most dairy and I have to say that they have an incredible selection of cheeses especially during the holidays that are divine! The prices you cannot beat and they are incredible just like some of the upscale stores. The condiments are of great value and can't be beat. Nuts and often the fruit and veggies are the best deal around here. They have frozen shrimp and thing's like this that are wonderful even smoked salmon and other treats. I often buy their version of my laughing cow cheese at a better price because I eat this daily. They often have brand name items that would surprise you such as Dave's killer organic bread, Dorito's, kind bars, snickers ice cream, Goldfish , m&m's, Duke's mayo, Gatorade and so much more. Their own brands are amazing and if you try their chocolate you may not go back to other brands. They have a sourdough bread that only has a few ingredients and tastes phenomenal! The meats that Wawa uses is Ham and Salami - both were a decent amount on the roll. It was a very tasty hoagie for only six dollars! I also ordered a medium size Chicken Noodle soup to go with it. The aroma was so scrumptious smelling when I took the lid off. Broth was great and the container was loaded with a great amount of chicken meat and dutch style egg noodles. It also had pieces of celery and carrot. Very comforting. For dessert I had one of my guilty pleasures - a soft pretzel! This thing was huge! Salted just right and all I did was put it in my air fryer for three minutes to warm it up which made it a little crispy. It was very good especially with yellow mustard on the side. We will definitely go back for another sandwich before their hoagiefest ends - I might try one of their club sandwiches next! I didn't think this was a thing- but it's a thing. I ordered my sandwich on a kiosk and then paid at the main cashier. The deli sees the order is paid for and will call your ticket number when it's ready. The Turkey sandwich was good but a bit overstuffed with meat and the bread/cheese/coldcut ratio was off. Service: if you order at the kiosk (machine) in the store it takes 10 minutes to get you sandwich. Beverages are self serve in the store. Unless you order a milkshake. They looked good! Overall, the gas station and quick service market are clean and easy to use. The sandwich ticket must be paid for at the register before picking it up. The staff look for the receipt. It took me a minute to figure out their payment protocol (rules). I thought the customer picked up the sandwich then checked out. Eventually, when the lady wouldn't release the sandwich I realized I needed to get the receipt. Maybe better signage would assist first time in store customers on payment protocol (rules).
