My friend bought a gun from you guys waited extra time for the background check. The first available time he went to pick it up, the girl said that he couldn't get it because it was 20 minutes until they closed and it takes 15 minutes for the safe to open. The next day he went to pick it them after he got off (there was two guns) he return 30 minutes before they close at 9pm and was told he couldn't have them because the gun counter closed at 8:30 which was not what they had said the night before. Poor customer service and waiting times were ridiculous. He ordered them online so waiting 8 days to release them is BS read more

I go here every weekend for corn. Wanted to see what type of ar10 platforms they had. I was looking for a certain one. Asked the old man behind counter if they had it. He said only ar10 platforms made was the 308. I was dumbfounded. I asked him again just to make sure he understood what I was asking. Then he said just like the ar15 it's only in 5.56 and .223. I'm sorry but if you going to hire people for gun sales they should at least know what they are talking about. I think you need your 3rd grade degree to work here. NO ONE would do more than point a crooked finger in a vague direction to help me find what I needed. Needless to say, I never did find it and will buy at Tractor Supply. Not only are they lazy, they are rude. I know prices are great here. That's where the goodness ends. Don't expect to be treated with respect or be helped in anyway. And PS... masks are not a thing here. I enjoyed finding my Ariat boots for working in the stable. They have a great rubber type sole which makes working and walking several miles daily very comfortable. I also purchased several Bimini Bay skorts and shorts. There were no employees for assistance on my first visit, but I found one very courteous employee on my second. I would definitely shop here again as they have a great variety of products. And it's nice that they have a dressing room. read more

I come here for the great deals on dog treats and food as well as beef jerky in bulk (the jerky is for me not the dogs). This is my 3rd time in this store and each visit was the same. Stock is lacking and customer service is poor. This will be my last shopping trip to this store. I want to support local businesses but this one is so awful I will drive out of town to shop in the future. The managers/supervisors are to blame for allowing the employees to act as if it's play time or visit with your friends time instead of working or helping customers. The counter man was so busy talking to woman friend (about another friend) that he waved us off TWICE say he'd be just a minute... We went there to purchase Bahia grass seed, which was still available. Also wanted to buy. Weber Portable Grill Q 1200. Much to my surprise they had one on the floor, however, the price was not on it. I went up front and asked a young Lady to get someone to help me with the grills. After a fifteen minute wait, I decided to leave the Weber at Rural King, as no one ever showed up. I prefer to do business with local businesses, but in the evening no one is there to help you. Best place on earth for farms. They have almost everything you could need to run a farm. I have a hobby farm and I go there a lot. They always have chicks. Only problems I see is sometimes it is hard to find someone to help you. It can eat up a lot of time looking for someone to help. But I love it anyway. read more

What can I say about rural King? They have all types of things from clothing, guns, ammo, birdseed, chickens, lawn care products. The list goes on to outdoor material, tractors, chain saws, boats, of it is like a modified version of Bass Pro Shop but not as high brow. If you go in, prepare to spend some time wandering around.
