Yelp had asked me what I think of Aldi's and I'm not sure why I haven't reviewed it as of yet. Aldi's is one of my go to's along with a couple other stores but it's one of my favorites because it has a little bit of everything that I know are so worth shopping for. Some of these thing's include most dairy and I have to say that they have an incredible selection of cheeses especially during the holidays that are divine! The prices you cannot beat and they are incredible just like some of the upscale stores. The condiments are of great value and can't be beat. Nuts and often the fruit and veggies are the best deal around here. They have frozen shrimp and thing's like this that are wonderful even smoked salmon and other treats. I often buy their version of my laughing cow cheese at a better price because I eat this daily. They often have brand name items that would surprise you such as Dave's killer organic bread, Dorito's, kind bars, snickers ice cream, Goldfish , m&m's, Duke's mayo, Gatorade and so much more. Their own brands are amazing and if you try their chocolate you may not go back to other brands. They have a sourdough bread that only has a few ingredients and tastes phenomenal! Aldi's has what everyone calls their aisle of shame where they get items that everyone loves and often go fast like Dubai pistachio cream, household goods like a heavy duty 2 qt cast iron Dutch oven that looks amazing! Name brand cereals like Reese's Puff's dark chocolate, mini Oreos with peanut butter and so much more. While some say it's the aisle of shame some call it the fun aisle but let me tell you that Aldi is not only about food you can definitely find some household goods too and is worth a visit quite often. On my last visit Jessica who is the best employee yet had helped me so much. I did not get a cart and I should have known better ( don't forget your quarter ) this guarantees returns. She offered me a box. So kind of Jessica and I was grateful. Then I had misplaced my phone and Jessica told me to let her know if I needed her to place a call to help find it. Needless to say this past time at Aldi's was my best experience yet. Thank you Jessica for going above and beyond you are the best and I will always be grateful! I only recently discovered that I really do love Aldi. I didn't even realize it happened, until I was eagerly holding my quarter, and musing that other businesses should really use that system for cart control. The selection of sweets alone is worth a stop: chocolate of a dozen varieties, cookies (foreign and domestic, common and exotic). I recently found the brioche loaf... that's delicious! Fresh veggies in sizes that are more likely to get fully used. Eggs, milk, and so many cheese choices! And random surprises showing up regularly. I've gotten several very brief items.. hoping they make a return soon! read more

Service from 1 office employee and cashier. Poor from stocking employee. On Wednesday, 09/13/2023 I was shopping at Aldi's. As I was getting ready to leave the parking lot I realized I was missing my phone. No one had turned in my phone in the store. I then went back outside to better check inside my car. I went back into the store and asked 2 people stocking if they had found a phone. I continued walking around store but unable to find it. I approached 1 person stocking asking if she could call my phone, she went to the other stocker and then returned stocking. I asked again if she could call my phone and told no. I went to the cashier and asked if she could call my phone or my husband. She called for assistance from a person in the back office. That person was so helpful and patient with me. She called my phone which did not help in locating it. I asked if she could call my husband who then could call my phone repeatedly. My husband kept calling and until I got into the car I could answer the phone from the screen not the phone. We figured my phone was in the car somewhere. As I was driving home I was unable to make any calls. On arriving home he called my phone and a person at Aldi's answered. A customer had found my phone in the parking lot. The Aldi employee even sent a text message to my husband since his number was in her phone when she assisted me. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Aldis is a European-owned, retail food market wirh good variety & some really nice savings, so check the weekly Specials that change every Wednesday. I buy my eggs, organic milk, locally-sourced organic Veggies, & fish here (still looking for a local butcher!) Samantha (manager) is personable yet profesdional... helpful, every time. Sweet gal. Cool micro grocery store. You won't find many brand names here as saving money is the goal. All of the food I've had is top notch and the produce is really fresh. I make it a pint to my dog treats here as I save about 50% You'll need to bring your own bags or buy them for a nominal fee and you'll need a quarter that gets you a cart that you get back when you return the cart. I moved here from Germany and am absolutely thrilled Aldi made its way to the US. Lots of the products are imported from Germany so you will not find corn syrup in that food ( yay! The only place I can buy chocolate!). Everything is superfresh and very cheap compared to huge supermarkets. Don't expect to find everything there- but as necessities will be there as well as some healthy substitutes for processed foods. Try the chocolate, it's the best!!:) read more

I went in there this morning 10-15-19 at 9:40 am.to pick up zero carb bread and they never have it I've gone to two different Aldie's and it is very sporadic,for a diabetic zero carb bread is wonderful and it allows us to eat a sandwich and not affect our blood sugar but every manager I talk to at aldi's , and I've talk to three at three different stores....all these have absolutely no clue about zero carb bread ,they have no clue when they get it they have no clue about anything ...it's very scary ...the manager here in Ocalla on 200 or in silver springs I mean told me it was a seasonal item how can Bread ...be seasonal ...especially zero carb. Seems to be a very common local grocery store. Nice store brand items. Just about anything important you need quickly when it comes to bread, cereal, fruits, pizza, ton of frozen foods, some meats, etc. Picky with name brand stuff, and would totally come back to shop here if I need any quick groceries. Bring your own bags as they don't seem to have any bags for you to take. No plastic or paper, odd for me since I'm from the north. read more

Good selections, fair prices, good quality. Changed vendors on some things , and now not as good as before. The ten cookie box variety, chicken salad not good. Had ham salad one time and now don't see it. same with German potato salad, now you don't see it anymore. Wish they would be more consistent. read more
