Called them about a Yellow Jackets nest, where the little bastard's were getting into my basement through the foundation. They killed them, and explained that some larvae may find its way into the house when it hatches. They were efficient, on-time, and pro-active (I would have called again had they not mentioned the larvae). My house is Yellow Jacket free, and the hole has been patched. read more

Kyle, Breanna, and team did a great job on the army of ground wasps in our yard. Super responsive and they called ahead before arriving which was really nice to know. Good info to keep our pets away from the area after treatment. Very localized application: 24 hours later and the wasps are gone and the bees are still happily buzzing around Thank you!! read more

Very impressed. The exterminator was very knowledgeable and professional. He was kind enough to explain the entire process as he worked to rid my house of mice. He inspected the foundation around the house for entry points for critters, subsequently filling them in to eliminate future unwanted tenants. Other companies set up traps to inspect on a monthly basis, charging the customer for each visit, costing much more in the long run, and never really eliminating the problem. Overall, I am pleased with the service. read more

Contacted Kwik Kill on the recommendation of a friend & neighbor shortly after my new patio deck was finished and I couldn't use it because of all the wasps! I am allergic to them and they're annoying for my guests. They explained their home plan and the four spray cycles that coincided to the wasp life, breeding, nesting cycles. I have used them for about 10 years now (without a single sting--yeah!) and, interestingly, they tend to show up for the upcoming spray cycle within days of first seeing new wasp activity. The really nice thing is that, since using their service and having them seal my foundation, I no longer get that seasonal influx of bugs when the weather turns cold. An added plus. read more

When we moved into our house a few years back, we quickly started to see a decent amount of creepy crawlies coming out from the basement and vents. I gave Kwik Kill a call and they came out right away. They were super nice and friendly. They did a walk through with me first and then sprayed and it totally took care of the problem! We have them back 4 times a year to spray the outside of our house and since signing up with them, we have had very few bugs in the house and now I can sleep at night:) I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of an exterminator. read more

Can you tell you how HAPPY I am to not wipe up mouse $h!t on a weekly basis anymore??? I'm a huge animal lover married to a vegetarian, so when hubs and I discovered mice in the house, we tried to deal with the problem the way us Madison tree-huggers do: by using live traps and some "alternative methods" we found online. Maybe they're called alternative methods because they're the alternative to effective methods? Hmmmm....maybe cedar shavings and peppermint-oil-soaked cotton balls aren't solid pest control? After literally YEARS with no luck whatsoever, hubs & I finally caved and got professional help. I wish I would've made this call about 4 years ago! I chose this company because it's a local family business, not a huge corporate chain. I also liked that they have a female technician. It means A LOT to me because I work in a male-dominated, very dirty job, and society needs to see more women in these roles. When I called Kwik Kill they were very polite offered to come out the very next day. Bonus points right there. They gave me a very accurate estimate over the phone (another bonus) and arrived in a normal looking hatchback vehicle (BIG bonus). I mention the car because I was a little worried that they'd pull up in a huge flashy van with either a big, bold logo on all the sides, or big mouse ears or 3-D bugs glued to the roof which would inform the entire neighborhood that we have a serious mouse problem. ;D Big sigh of relief there! Our dogs are notorious for catching rodents, plus we have a lot of hawks and owls in our neighborhood. Naturally I was very concerned when I learned that poison was going to be used. Kwik Kill explained that the dogs or other predators would have to eat a significant number of poisoned mice to cause any harm to them, which put me at ease. They explained how it works using SCIENCE & FACTS, not "Eh, don't worry about it." (More bonus points!) They also didn't use snap traps or glue traps, which are particularly cruel and inhumane. Our technician placed the bait boxes in areas where our dogs had zero chance of getting at them. (More bonus points.) Then the tech filled in all the holes around the foundation where a mouse could squeeze into the house. He gave us some info like what NOT to put in our bird feeders. Like I said, we love wild animals...when they're outside. A few days after setting up the bait boxes, we didn't see ANY sign of mice whatsoever. Not only do I not have to wipe up mouse $h!t on a weekly basis, but I also don't have to hide the butter in the toaster oven anymore! I feel THAT confident leaving it on the counter! The worst part of the experience was dealing with the smell that followed. I blame myself and hubs for waiting too long to get professional help. Like I said, we should've called Kwik Kill years ago. Before we called we were catching between 1-4 mice at a time in our live trap, so that's on US for allowing things to get out of hand. Thankfully the smell was kept in the basement, where we only go to do laundry. Hubs & I went through everything looking for the nest/bodies. We only found 2 dried-out dead mice. Just to be on the safe side, we threw them in the trash so that neighborhood hawks wouldn't eat them. Even after all that, the smell was still present a couple days later, even with the air purifier running. Then, like music to my ears, Kwik Kill called to schedule a follow up. I'd completely forgotten that they were going to do that! When Breanna came out to check the traps, I mentioned that we couldn't find any more mice but that the smell was so strong that the air purifier couldn't get rid of it 100%. She explained that the dead mice might be inside or behind our insulation and that's why we couldn't find more. She also said we shouldn't be tearing through fiberglass anyway. I completely agreed with her expert & professional opinion. I work in the building trades and fiberglass is NOT fun to deal with! The 2 mice we found were dried out, meaning no fluids oozing into woodwork, etc. If our issue was with rats, squirrels, or anything larger, I'd suit up and dig through the fiberglass to protect my home. Breanna assured me that the smell would start to go away soon, but in the meantime she set up odor neutralizers, which started to work immediately. I'm not exaggerating-it was like night and day difference! In hindsight I should've called them about this sooner. And because some people can be sensitive to smells, Breanna had the foresight to ask if I was okay with the smell before arranging the odor neutralizers. OMG!!! Could I rave any MORE about how wonderful this family-owned, female-empowering, local business is??? Probably, but I'm hungry and want to make some toast. I'm going to use butter on it...butter that's been sitting untouched on the counter. read more

Breanna is the best! She's super friendly, easy to work with, knows her sh*t (I don't think I ever got anything that well explained in science in school!), and obviously takes care of our home. In fact, she's taken care of our last 2 houses. We just bring her with us! :) read more

These people are extremely trust worthy and good at what they do. Breanna came out after we had a rodent problem and patched up the siding on the house. I called her on a sunday in a panic after hearing something running around and she talked me through what i needed to do and she came out at 7 am monday morning! I havent heard a peep since! Thank you Kwik Kill! read more

I've used this company since the mice burrowed into my house and nibbled at my wrapped Christmas candy a couple years ago! I live next to a wooded area with lots of bugs and critters, but don't want them in the house! KwikKill staff are thorough, prompt, attentive and reasonably priced for their service. I use them for both the interior of my house and exterior treatments and haven't had any squeaky noises at night since! read more

Breanna and Tyler were fantastic! Breanna returned my call right away and followed up 2 weeks after to see if I had questions. So friendly and explained the details of what they were doing. Finally...mice free! read more

We knew we had a bee nest somewhere in our siding, and we spent countless dollars buying bee spray and spraying night after night to try to get rid of them. It got so bad that I didn't let my kids play in the backyard due to so many bees! After a week of spraying with no results, I was near tears! I came home from work on a Thursday night and saw about 50 bees on the side of my house. I panicked, we had a 4 year old's birthday party to host on Saturday, who was going to want to hang out with all those bees?! At 4:58pm Thursday night I called , hoping they were open, and not only were they open, Breanna was on her way home and stopped by our house within the hour. She told me the bees were in fact yellow jackets, and figured out they had built a nest in a boxed out window , and no amount of us spraying would reach these buggers! She sprayed and told me it could take 3-5 days to see the best results, but she expected they would be mostly gone by the time we had our party. Guess what?! Next morning and the rest of the weekend there were NO BEES! I am so grateful for Breanna and Kwik Kill's fast response, easy payment options, guaranty, and friendly service. As a woman who was home without her husband, it made me feel so much safer knowing a woman was coming to my house to take care of the problem. Thank you Breanna!!! read more

Love these guys. We have a cedar fence and umbrella wasps LOVE to nest inside of it. Gave Kwik Kill a call and was impressed with their willingness to talk through and explain their process for dealing with wasps. They came to our home that day and took care of the issue. We have used their service three times since the original call, and this spring will be signing up for their Home Protection Program. Thank you Kwik Kill! read more

Satisfied customer! I USED TO have a vole problem. No, that's not a typo. Voles were ruining my lawn. The grass was dying, so our lawn looked terrible. The voles were also making tunnels in the flower garden next to my house. My husband definitely heard me scream a few times when I crossed paths with the voles unexpectedly while gardening. After trying several products from Home Depot and Menards unsuccessfully, we knew it was time to bring in an expert. Kwik Kill knew exactly what to do. They were very professional. They put bait in fake rocks that blended into our landscaping. Problem solved. The voles were gone and our lawn looked nice again. Kwik Kill came back once a month to keep the voles away. They also took care of the box elder bugs covering our siding in the Fall. I would highly recommend Kwik Kill and would definitely use them again in the future. They know how to handle a pest problem. Now, I have piece of mind and can work in my garden without worrying about running into rodents. read more

I have used Kwik Kill for several years and have been extremely satisfied. I started using them when I had trouble with bees and now they service my home for all insects. The employees are courteous, knowledgeable and professional while their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them! read more

Kwik Kill was recommended to me by a friend and they did not disappoint. They make the initial step very easy for the consumer and are accommodating in terms of scheduling. Breanna was polite, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I will be setting up a regular schedule with Kwik Kill to keep my home pest free! Highly recommend! read more

These folks were fantastic! I called them and they were here within 2 days. I had a mouse problem and Jake immediately found the problem areas and corrected them. I was impressed with the fact that he took care of everything in one visit rather than coming out 3 or more times to solve the problem. Very efficient. And I love the fact that we were able to use a fairly local, small business. Keep it going Kwik Kill!!! And thank you. I will sleep better tonight! read more

Mouse-proofing service did not work! They charged $300 for less than an hour of time. They located a few holes around the house and sprayed foam in them, but didn't even use enough foam to fill the holes leaving plenty of room for mice to get in. They also missed several holes that we found afterwards. A month later, the problem was worse than when I hired them. I called to complain about the shoddy work and see if they would send someone else out to fix the problems. They wanted to charge me again when the first service had accomplished nothing! We've spent a great deal of our own time searching for and plugging holes they missed and plugging the holes they found, but only half filled. I see this company has many good reviews for bug issues. I can't comment on their bug killing capabilities, but if you're dealing with rodents, I recommend you look elsewhere. read more
