Can you tell you how HAPPY I am to not wipe up mouse $h!t on a weekly basis anymore???…read more I'm a huge animal lover married to a vegetarian, so when hubs and I discovered mice in the house, we tried to deal with the problem the way us Madison tree-huggers do: by using live traps and some "alternative methods" we found online. Maybe they're called alternative methods because they're the alternative to effective methods? Hmmmm....maybe cedar shavings and peppermint-oil-soaked cotton balls aren't solid pest control? After literally YEARS with no luck whatsoever, hubs & I finally caved and got professional help. I wish I would've made this call about 4 years ago! I chose this company because it's a local family business, not a huge corporate chain. I also liked that they have a female technician. It means A LOT to me because I work in a male-dominated, very dirty job, and society needs to see more women in these roles. When I called Kwik Kill they were very polite offered to come out the very next day. Bonus points right there. They gave me a very accurate estimate over the phone (another bonus) and arrived in a normal looking hatchback vehicle (BIG bonus). I mention the car because I was a little worried that they'd pull up in a huge flashy van with either a big, bold logo on all the sides, or big mouse ears or 3-D bugs glued to the roof which would inform the entire neighborhood that we have a serious mouse problem. ;D Big sigh of relief there! Our dogs are notorious for catching rodents, plus we have a lot of hawks and owls in our neighborhood. Naturally I was very concerned when I learned that poison was going to be used. Kwik Kill explained that the dogs or other predators would have to eat a significant number of poisoned mice to cause any harm to them, which put me at ease. They explained how it works using SCIENCE & FACTS, not "Eh, don't worry about it." (More bonus points!) They also didn't use snap traps or glue traps, which are particularly cruel and inhumane. Our technician placed the bait boxes in areas where our dogs had zero chance of getting at them. (More bonus points.) Then the tech filled in all the holes around the foundation where a mouse could squeeze into the house. He gave us some info like what NOT to put in our bird feeders. Like I said, we love wild animals...when they're outside. A few days after setting up the bait boxes, we didn't see ANY sign of mice whatsoever. Not only do I not have to wipe up mouse $h!t on a weekly basis, but I also don't have to hide the butter in the toaster oven anymore! I feel THAT confident leaving it on the counter! The worst part of the experience was dealing with the smell that followed. I blame myself and hubs for waiting too long to get professional help. Like I said, we should've called Kwik Kill years ago. Before we called we were catching between 1-4 mice at a time in our live trap, so that's on US for allowing things to get out of hand. Thankfully the smell was kept in the basement, where we only go to do laundry. Hubs & I went through everything looking for the nest/bodies. We only found 2 dried-out dead mice. Just to be on the safe side, we threw them in the trash so that neighborhood hawks wouldn't eat them. Even after all that, the smell was still present a couple days later, even with the air purifier running. Then, like music to my ears, Kwik Kill called to schedule a follow up. I'd completely forgotten that they were going to do that! When Breanna came out to check the traps, I mentioned that we couldn't find any more mice but that the smell was so strong that the air purifier couldn't get rid of it 100%. She explained that the dead mice might be inside or behind our insulation and that's why we couldn't find more. She also said we shouldn't be tearing through fiberglass anyway. I completely agreed with her expert & professional opinion. I work in the building trades and fiberglass is NOT fun to deal with! The 2 mice we found were dried out, meaning no fluids oozing into woodwork, etc. If our issue was with rats, squirrels, or anything larger, I'd suit up and dig through the fiberglass to protect my home. Breanna assured me that the smell would start to go away soon, but in the meantime she set up odor neutralizers, which started to work immediately. I'm not exaggerating-it was like night and day difference! In hindsight I should've called them about this sooner. And because some people can be sensitive to smells, Breanna had the foresight to ask if I was okay with the smell before arranging the odor neutralizers. OMG!!! Could I rave any MORE about how wonderful this family-owned, female-empowering, local business is??? Probably, but I'm hungry and want to make some toast. I'm going to use butter on it...butter that's been sitting untouched on the counter.

Called them about a Yellow Jackets nest, where the little bastard's were getting into my basement…read morethrough the foundation. They killed them, and explained that some larvae may find its way into the house when it hatches. They were efficient, on-time, and pro-active (I would have called again had they not mentioned the larvae). My house is Yellow Jacket free, and the hole has been patched.

Well my story is long so I'll sum it up quickly. my family found our dream home and we've been…read morethere for roughly 10 years. We have never had a critter in our house but this summer we've had some unwanted visitors in the form of bats. I called AAAC Wildlife of Madison to have one of their experts come and look in my attic. They responded extremely quickly and were able to schedule an appointment the next day. Tom their expert came over to my house and found that we have a significant bat problem in our attic. we were given an estimate to take care of the problem the same day the appointment was scheduled. Work is going to be scheduled to fix the problem and my family and I are looking forward to getting our house back and our pest problem taken care of. I'm looking forward to working with this company. Crystal who works in the office was very helpful in finding ways to finance the work and even though I went in a different direction regarding payment I was very thankful of her consideration. After the work is completed I'm looking forward to coming back on here to sing their praises thank you AAAC Wildlife Removal of Madison! Your job is not an easy one but you did your best to make it easy on me and my family! -Alan

I contracted AAAC Wildlife Removal of Madison, operated by Brian Williams, for wildlife removal…read moreservices at my home on July 22, 2025. Following completion of the work, property damage was identified that was not present prior to the service. The issues included spray foam overspray onto roof shingles, ridge vent shingles, and the driveway; lifting of the ridge vent associated with the application process; sealant applied near flashing in a manner that may affect drainage; shingle granule loss consistent with ladder placement; and damage to gutters. Additionally, contracted work was not completed as agreed--bat excluders specified in the work order were not initially installed and, after follow-up, were installed but have not been removed. I notified Brian Williams and AAAC Wildlife Removal of Madison on July 23, 2025. While the company returned the same day, the overspray and related issues were not corrected. Multiple additional attempts were made over the following months to resolve the matter. An inspection by the roofing contractor who installed the roof earlier in 2025 documented the condition and provided a repair estimate of $3,160, which was shared with the company. A claim was also filed with their insurance carrier and denied. To further assess the impact, I contacted the shingle manufacturer, Malarkey Roofing Products. They confirmed in writing that the spray foam overspray has damaged the shingles, cannot be removed without causing additional damage, and has voided the warranty in the affected areas. This documentation has been provided to AAAC Wildlife Removal of Madison and Brian Williams; however, the matter remains unresolved. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company. Prospective customers should proceed with caution.

See, the NOT RECOMMENDED FILTERED REVIEWS. I would hope my review makes it as an ELITE BADGE HOLDER…read morefor more than seven (7) years may you, the reader, know I'm not a plant nor a fake review. The employee that has come to my property at least four (4) times but only sprayed once is either 1. A naturalist that doesn't want to kill anything, 2. Ego stricken and wants to be the "Teacher" in all situations 3. Too embarrassed to just admit what went wrong and has yet to correct the issue or 4. The property limits their budget?!!?! Either way, all I know is the roach infestation has taken over a newly built construction of 80 units. This place just opened Fall 2018. Some renter moved in with roaches as a pet which is a petulant akin to a Biblical plague spring 2019 Then spray guy tried to convince me 1. It could be anything. 2. Get a picture 3. I provide a picture of a killed roach and then he needs a bug caught alive because the picture isn't any good. 4. Give him 2 samples that we captured alive after a lot of screaming and fear. .. just to be told he didn't have his contacts in... let him use the phone app to determine the species then then app couldn't Do it so he'll take it back to the lab. Y'all this ain't CSI. I've had trials with less evidence. Whatever, but he never followed up. Didn't say what he learned the species/kind is. I begged for spray this time. Seems like the spray made them worse. I couldn't go to the bathroom without shoes, lysol and my glasses. I left carcasses on the walls so he'd have plenty of proof they are all over. He swore they had to come from the construction. Nope. Last week's visit he announces he found the source. And, it's 2 units. I get instruction sheets to empty ever cabinet, closet and pull out drawers as they will return Mon. July 15th 12-3:30pm. This was provided less than 48 hours. I got it done and waited for their arrival to give booties to Cover their shoes and ask questions about why every unit didn't get this notice? NO ONE SHOWED SO I emailed the front office to learn... they sprayed certain units and exterior. Why did I get this checklist? No response to date. I don't know what is said between this company and management. I just know in the times in my unit, 1 spraying occurred and it wasn't neat nor did it limit the impact. No more traps are needed. I still haven't heard about those "lab" results. I'll update if and when things improve. See attached pictures + info.

I'm not sure where to start. We had called this company and told the gentleman (Thomas) that we…read moremight have a flea problem as we had found some fleas on a dog we recently dog sat for 5 days. The first thing he said was "I'm surprised your apartment office didn't call us"...okay maybe that matters financially or something, but that's the first thing they say? Okay moving on...he continued to believe I did not know what I was talking about with seeing a flea. He quite literally tested me, doubted me and questioned me the whole time. He said we wouldn't know if we were infest with fleas for a couple of months? With all the research I've done I completely understand what he is saying, however, we still wanted flea treatment. He has said that it could be bed bugs. First off, we don't have a bed and a basic research will let you know that beg bugs can certainly bite a dog, but cannot necessarily live on dogs. He proceeded to say "I'm happy to take your money, but I'm telling you now I think you'll be wasting it and if we come and don't find anything you don't get your $75 back". Again, I totally understand, but the way he said it was just so off putting. We ended up calling Terminix who also verified with us it was a flea in a very kind manner and they are coming today wth guaranteed work and I've been in touch with the man who will be doing the service all morning and he's been so kind and reassuring. I'm not sure if it's because I live in a little studio and it's not worth their time, or if it was a grumpy Monday, but what we were looking for was resolution and a plan (at what we told him would be any cost to us) and he made it worse for us. Buddy, I'm not trying to question or disrespect your "30 years" of flea expertise, but you need some schooling on compassion.
