Thanks to Mike and his co-worker for coming out to fix our dryer on a SATURDAY! They were responsive, got right to it, and we very friendly.

In PLANO, TX: Oh my Gosh! These guys are Awesome-sauce! I have called them about five times now. The same crew (Mike and Zack) come out and make things work again every time. They are reasonable, reliable, responsive, flexible, and very personable. They've worked on our washer and dryer. Samsungs are so finicky, these ones are. The ones we have at our old house were better. But these guys have fixed both our washer and dryer, separately. Today, the are fixing our fridge and freezer. The compressor is not happy. They are also working on our oven. They rock! If your appliances need help, call Kwik Appliances (they are the "appliance whispers"). ______________ They had to order a part for our fridge and CAME back THE SAME DAY!!!! Back on Jan 7, we call this company to install my dishwasher. See my automatic dishwasher came with the house has always been stuck in the computer dashboard. My uncle gave me an older none with a dial to install instead "free". I found Kwik guys on yelp. I call them. Few hours, came back my door an older guy called Mina. He is down to earth. He took down the non working unit and installed the replacement one. It has been working since then. No issues.... Price is also reasonable. read more

This company sent two people out to repair my ice maker which had quit working. On the first trip, they called and said they had to stop and get a part and was on their way and would be out in an hour to an hour and half. 3 1/2 hours later they showed up. The part they picked up was a new ice maker which wasn't needed. It needed a new water line, what company would come out without a water line with them knowing they work on ice makers? I had to pull the refrigerator out for them, I had to turn the water off to the ice maker BY SIMPLY pulling the control valve out. It's a pull in and out valve and was not stuck. They claimed they don't turn the water on and off for 'liability' issues. I thought I hired them? They argued back and forth often. They worked like this was new to them, trying different ways to get the ice maker out. They also wanted to use the rest room JUST as they arrived at my house. I would think they would have done that before they arrived. They passed many gas stations. Not having the water line, they had to come back. I had to push the refrigerator back and clean up the trash they left. He wanted me to pay him my co-payment and I said no, not until he completed the job. I had lost confidence in them watching them work. They arrived for the second trip. Immediately they wanted to use the rest room again. Immediately the lead guy started arguing with me about payment. I told him I would pay him today since they would complete the job. He said he talked to the company and I was to pay upon their arrival the first time. Once again, I had to pull the refrigerator out for them. Once they finished the job, I had to crawl back behind the refrigerator and turn the water line back on for them. They put the parts back on, but when one of them went to look at something, the drawer fell off onto the floor that they had just put back on. They told me I needed to turn my refrigerator off for two days and let the line unfreeze. I think this might have been the problem the whole time so a new water line probably wasn't needed. I looked it up online and it said a part can be bought for $30 that you connect and thaws the line. I told him about what I read. He said, let him call and see if he could get authorization to get that part. I said if they wouldn't authorize it I would pay for it. I waited as he called and he was calling to complain to the company that I had been told I didn't have to pay my copay up front opposed to getting authorization for the part. After a couple of people answering he told them each time he wanted to talk to a manager above them. WHILE on this call he had my credit card in HIS hand. I lost my temper then, and told him he was wasting my time, I didn't appreciate him saying he is calling in for one thing and was calling for something else. I told him to run my card which he had in hand before he started the phone call and leave my house. He said he had to wait for his credit card charger to charge. I told him no he didn't, he had it plugged into my outlet and the light was green so he could run the card. I see other complaints about this company and they do one repair and it turns out to be a different part than what they replaced. I highly recommend that you do not use this company. In response to some of Mikes comments below; 1. The water valve was not stuck; your guys just didn't want to get behind the fridge to turn it on and off. 2. Your guys had not done any work when they asked to use the restroom on both occasions: the first visit I allowed them to, the odor in it was not from washing hands. 3. Your guys said they needed a new water line: if that's not what they needed, then they never should have called it that. 4. Your guys failed to push the reset button after they completed their work! Funny how doing that is a cure! 5. Your guy said he was calling in for approval for the valve I requested. After he demanded to talk to someone higher up several times about payment, when he had my credit card In His Hand, taking up time and would have to start all over once he got to whomever he felt he had gone up the chain with to get the part I requested, I had enough. He wasn't honest with me saying why he was calling in and then I lost complete faith in him. 6. Asking me to leave my refrigerator turned off for two days wasn't a solution. Talking to the insurance company rep, she said she couldn't find anything saying to do that online and that didn't sound reasonable, and it isn't reasonable in my opinion. 7. If there is another reason why it froze, then why didn't your guys research into that? read more

Please do not use this company. Service was horrendous. Service was order on a washer with sears service agreement. Kwik came out when scheduled. They diagnosed and ordered the part, so I thought. I signed ticket, so Sears paid them. They told me they would be back when part came in. On follow up, Sears says they closed ticket because it was complete. No part was ever ordered. Kwik appliance lies. I needed a $20 part on a 2 year old appliance. Kwik asked me to sign ticket so they get paid for doing nothing. Please avoid Kwik appliance. They are unethical!! read more

My microwave/range combo was improperly installed by the previous owner. These guys came the same day (!) and did the adjustment. It still looks a little bit crooked but at least it's secured now. Their charge is fair enough and I may consider use their service later. read more

This repair company arrived very quick to our residence to repair our washer. They had to order a part, but it only took a day to come in and they promptly called and returned to replace the part. Our dryer is working fine again, in fact, better than before. Very satisfied with their service. read more

I am sorry that I ever read a review on this company as I would never have called them. I certainly did not have a 5 star review. I was intimidated by them. I have spent more than $400.00 and my microwave is still not repaired. They ordered the wrong control board and then convinced me that it would fix it. I told them I wanted my control board because I knew there was nothing wrong with it because the new one didn't fix it. They took anyway and when I asked them to return it, they came to my house and took it out and when I said that I wasn't signing anything else and asked them to leave, they grabbed the board and I ended up calling 911. Please Do NOT use this company! We had our dishwasher repaired by them and ended up paying nearly the cost of the appliance when all was said and done. The repair was simply a detergent dispenser that was not operating correctly. The service man said he needed to replace the entire part which I agreed to for 150.00. He then after looking further into it said he can just clean it with brush and that would fix the problem. Still charged 150.00. One month later the dispenser was not working again and I called him back to repair problem. That cost 170.00. I asked how much part costs and he rudely snapped "I don't know!". After he left I noticed the dishwasher looked crooked and there was a larger gap than usual between counter and appliance. I opened the dishwasher door and the bottom panel fell off and screws went flying across floor. I called him back to fix problem and he came back and said there was nothing wrong with the placement and that's how it's supposed to be. I was in disbelief at his response and told him that it can't be left this way and it looked awful. He continued to argue with me (very loudly) and finally after I would not let up he pulled the dishwasher back out and reinstalled. He was obviously very angry about this and left in a huff. 2 mos later we noticed water seeping through cracks from underneath our new laminate flooring that was installed about 2 mos.before his repair and we pulled dishwasher out to find 2 inches of water standing under our dishwasher. Our new floor is bubbling up now and the smell is awful from mold and mildew. I called him back to make him aware of issue and to resolve it. He denied pulling appliance out saying he never even moved it and basically said it's not his problem. We then said if he will not make this right we will sue him and he said "Go to hell" and hung up. read more

I was so relieved and happy with my appliance service and repair. It was the holidays and my washer broke on Saturday morning and I had a pile of laundry from my family and guests visiting. I had to call someone to come quickly but because it was the holidays, no one was available except Kwik Appliance. They came within 2 hours to repair my washer and the customer service was amazing and at a fair price. I would definately recommend and certainly have saved them on my phone log, which I do not do if I am not happy. We have a Sear maintenance agreement and I am use to Sears 4 hour window for arrival time which with a busy schedule is not convenient. What I loved about Kwik Appliance was that they set a specific arrival time. I have had them several times and their service was excellent, very professional and had my appliance working again in no time.
