First they had a hard time to determine if they could do rollers or not. I was passed to a woman with very long red hair. The whole time that she shampooed me her hair would brush onto my face. I commented that I didn't like that. she said , when we are sharing a small space this happens. I said ,"no, every stylist that I've ever gone to has their hair clipped back." As she was shampooing me I said, "I like to have two shampoos please." Her reply,"you know if you are going to keep telling me what to do I don't know if I want to do your hair.I was stunned. I said, "That's ok, just finish the shampoo and I'll go home." No , I will never go back to this place of business. It is very unprofessional!

I move to Aldergrove from Seattle so my options for a good hair cut place became narrow. Through family I found out about this place. The owner Shelly is very lovely and has years of experience and the other lady Vicky also a great addition to the location. I would recommend appointment because they have many loyal client already so do expect a wait if you just walk in. Now I have a two year old son he goes with me to get his haircut now as well, he is still in training but shelly has been really patient with him with all the crying.

I went to a different salon one week prior and everything that could have gone wrong did. Bad cut with poorly integrated layers, wrong colour, and over-processed highlights. I was wearing the ponytail of shame all week trying to figure out what could be done to fix my hair. After a consultation with Marina, she provided me with an option that would take my hair to a look I confidently wear while growing it out, and with the least amount of additional damage. When she was fixing my hair Marina explained everything she was going to do before doing it, which really put me at ease, and detailed the costs for each process. I am please to say I have found a new stylist and she is well worth the trip to Aldergrove, if you do not live out there.
