Came here in Saturday and there seems to be only one person working so even tho it wasn't a long line we had to wait quite a while for our drinks. The coconut milk tea was good but very sweet. Hubby said his milk tea wasn't anything to rave about. I also ordered the pinapple sunshine tea which was my favorite with bits of pineapple on the bottom.

Pros: The boba is good and has a nice chew to it. It's nice that you can choose your ice and sugar preferences. They have a large menu that includes tea, milk tea, and dairy free options. Cons: I was excited to find out that a new bubble tea shoppe had opened. Bubble tea isn't very common on Long Island so I was hoping to find a new place to get my bubble tea fix. I ordered the Oreo Milk Strike. I have to say, this wasn't what I was expecting. The bubble tea was mostly Lactaid milk with crushed oreos. If this was a milk shake it would have been great but drinking soggy Oreos was not what I was hoping for. I wanted to give this place another chance so I came back the following week to try a classic taro. The taro milk tea was fine but didn't taste like the taro that I know and love. Is a place good because it's the only one of its kind? This is something I'll be thinking about.

So nice to have a really good bubble tea place in town! If you blink, you'll drive right past it. It's a very small building in between DP Dough and the restaurant on the corner. Right now it's just outdoor ordering on the side of the building. Nice quality tea, accurate order. I'll definitely be back for my share of bubble tea!

Guys, legit milk tea is finally making its way east of Flushing. I'm not saying KFT is the end-all, be-all, but it's solid in both flavor and texture. I also don't want to salt Bambu's game, but I feel like they're much more about their slushies and smoothies than about milk tea. Give me a place that uses real tea AND real milk, I'll pick it anytime. So, please, I implore you to support this establishment, if only to bring better cuisine closer to campus. As for actual recommendations: really any milk tea is good. You can customize your sweetness and ice level. I enjoy their taro, the Kung Fu Tea namesake and winter melon. Seriously, it's much better than the powdery water you get at most places.

Awesome bubble tea! My boyfriend and I both got taro slushes with bubble and they were awesome! We both commented on how good and fresh the bubbles tasted. I got mine with 70% sugar but I think next time I'll do 50%. The flavor was awesome, I love frozen milk tea. My reasoning in giving them 4/5 stars is because of a few things. For one, the wait for our tea was very long and we were the only ones there. The other reason is because of the price, we both got larges and added bubble into them, but they weren't very big and it was almost $16, which is pretty expensive.

Finally, a good bubble tea spot in Suffolk! I was so happy to see they're open during COVID- they have a window you can order and grab your drinks from. I went with Taro and pearls- they have a lot of different flavors so I will definitely be coming back for more bubble tea fixes!

Closest bubble tea in this area, decent amount of options. Inconsistent taste though, sometimes it is very good, sometimes it isn't. Oreo wow milk tea is good. Slushes are a bit too icy. Honey oolong tea tastes good as well

Every time I come here I get different drinks and they are always so good! So far the almond milk tea is my favorite! I highly recommend going to Kung Fu Tea it's really a nice afternoon treat that's different from the typical coffee spots.

The most amazing drink place! I enjoy the drinks so mush, I could go twice a day every day for everything I like. Mango smoothly with popping bubbles or tapioca bubbles is my favorite but there are many more I try and have them. The order widow is on the side because the restaurant is not open from COVID YET. There are so many toppings like jelly? Pieces of fruit. So good. Drinks are a little spendy. One drink can cost you $8+. Their teas are delicious so even though you wait standing in a dirt alley to order ( no parking )you don't care because they are making everything delicious for you.

The artwork on the walls adds a personal touch and gives the café a relaxed, inspiring vibe. It's the kind of place that makes you want to open your laptop, sip your drink, and settle in for a productive afternoon. I ordered the sugar-free brown sugar latte, and it was absolutely fantastic. It had just the right balance of rich espresso flavor and smooth sweetness...not overly sugary, but still comforting and flavorful. You can tell they really care about the quality of their drinks here. The fact that they offer sugar-free options is such a thoughtful touch for those who want to enjoy something indulgent without all the sugar. They also offer dairy free alternatives. They also have a great selection of baked goods and pastries to go along with your coffee...everything from muffins and cookies to croissants and other treats that pair perfectly with their lattes and teas. It's nice to have something fresh and tasty on the side, especially if you're stopping in for breakfast or a mid-day snack. One of the things I love most about Sweetwaters is the seasonal menu. They have creative fall drinks that bring all the cozy flavors of the season; perfect for chilly mornings or afternoon pick-me-ups. It's clear the staff takes pride in keeping the menu interesting and fresh. The staff themselves deserve a special mention. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely kind. You can tell they enjoy being there, which adds so much to the overall experience. The music was also a fun surprise...hearing "The Time Warp" from The Rocky Horror Show while sipping my latte definitely made me smile, and the rest of the playlist kept the energy light and enjoyable without being distracting. Another bonus: there's a drive-thru, which makes it super convenient for busy mornings when you want great coffee without leaving your car. All in all, Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea in Smithtown checks every box -- delicious drinks, tasty baked goods, cozy atmosphere, great music, friendly service, and a creative environment. Whether you're looking for a comfortable place to do some work, meet up with friends, or just unwind with a great cup of coffee and a pastry, this café is a gem. Highly recommended!

This review is a few weeks late but as they say, "better late than never"…read more Ok I was there with some friends on a Friday. It was my first time, but it seems like coffee shops are popping up all over the area. It's amazing, everyone of them is busy all the time. This coffee hop is a little different. A few years back it was a deli. I went there once and that was enough for me. But I noticed this building undergoing a renovation. So there's about 8 of us and impossible for all of us to sit together. So coffee, any kind you like and a few I've never had. I chose a coffee with turmeric. Well healthy anyway. The menu offers many items which I'll try at a different time. Big bonus, they have a rooftop deck with a view of Port Jefferson harbor. Looking forward to sitting there in the summer. So for now I was very pleased and plan to go back.

I thought it would be dead, but to my surprise it was still pretty busy! Its a small little place, but still a few options to sit down and eat or just sip your java. Bonus points for excellent music choice, very indie singer/songwriter style that made for a nice relaxing atmosphere. Starting with the reason you're probably going here, the coffee. I got a peanut butter latte, and my girlfriend got one of their winter seasonal choices in the ginger bread latte. both served hot. The PB was very smooth and lightly sweet, but the ginger bread one in my opinion takes home the trophy this time. As for lunch we did their sandwich/wrap and a salad combo, which as far as I am concerned is the best deal I've ever seen, Panera eat your heart out. I got the buffalo chicken wrap with a side caesar salad, and my girlfriend got the fig & brie sandwich, with a side peach and avocado salad. The buffalo wrap was nice and light with grilled chicken and a buffalo sauce that seemed almost more like a vinaigrette and the caesar was about as classic as it gets. The fig and brie was an unexpected plus for me and eats almost like a caprese sandwich, while the peach and avocado salad was super fresh, fruit in salad doesn't quite do it for me personally, so we split the trophy for our lunches. My only "major" downside is that the food is served on wooden paddles, I personally like a plate, but that is more of me just being a nit-picker more than anything else. Parking is pretty ample with spots both in the front and the back of the attached lot, but be careful when you're pulling up the first time, you're bound to miss it, I know I almost did!
