It did not, and we made several calls to Kung Fu Tea to have them fix this. Sometimes a cold drink just makes sense for a cold type of day? I do not think that any of the Kung Fu Tea shops have ever disappointed when it comes to the texture and taste of the boba. There is that nice, sweet taste, in addition to the perfect consistency. This location is a little odd with not as much parking, however, it is conveniently located in an area close to the college. The workers were professional and made the drinks without any delay. I always find it wholesome when restaurants or businesses decorate their building according to the season and/or holidays. Highly recommend ordering on the app for drinks ahead of time so you do not have to wait for the times where it may be a busier day. I love Kung Fu Tea for their milk tea options since they have so many flavors and fun seasonal options too. My favorites are pistachio, almond, taro, and brown sugar milk teas. My most recent order here was the almond milk tea with boba. The boba was fresh! Perfectly squishy with just a slight firmness. Absolutely love their almond milk tea. Can't go wrong with any of their fruit teas either. I know many have said the service can be slow but I've never had that experience. The staff members have always been fast and efficient. The rest of the parking is also extremely limited; I wish they had more parking. They do have seating inside and outside with wheelchair accessible tables and moveable chairs. It is very well lit inside at night. The parking lot does have some light at night, but not a ton. Experience: they weren't super busy on a Thursday night which was great for me! Upon walking inside it was super cute and the girl working behind the counter was very kind and welcoming! I order a large Rosehip Lemonade with aloe in it, and my girlfriend ordered a latte and a tea. My large Rosehip Lemonade only cost a little over six dollars, and my girlfriend's two drinks were just over ten dollars! How incredible! The teas we got were both very sweet but very good. I've had kung fu tea in the past but this was probably the worst drink they've ever made. It has an after taste of tap water or watered down yakult. We asked for "less ice", but there was no ice at all and the drink wasn't cold. On top of that, the boba was hard and tasted old. However, since summer, I've been trying other flavors such as the mango, the pineapple, the oreo, and yes, even the ginger brown sugar tea (which was not my favorite by any means), but for the most part, you can't go wrong with any of the flavors. This location is now another addition to San Marcos with an already flooded boba area within a 5 mile radius. They are located in a mixed use area of San Marcos. Parking is a bit difficult to find. The drinks here are tasty and reasonably priced. With the current Covid-19 Pandemic, they are only doing take out orders. I was able to order via the app which made the process so simple. I ordered my beverage half-sweet and that would be my recommendation for all of their tea drinks.. They were very liberal with the popping bubbles which was a great bonus for me. Parking is a bit confusing as the parking lot is located right behind Kung Fu but it's also shared with an apartment complex. Most spaces were reserved with towing warnings.
