Everbowl is hands down my favorite acaí bowl spot in San Diego. The build-your-own bowl concept is pure heaven. You get to choose your base - acaí, pitaya, vanilla, cacao wow, blue majic or cacao love. You can customize everything else: base, bonus base, fruit and drizzles exactly to your liking. There have signature bowls, drinks, smoothies and toasts and pre made items that you can take home like base pints to go and everwich. Every time they hand me my bowl, I literally feel giddy. Unfortunately I had to cancel numerous orders at this location and with the company as a whole. APPARENTLY when you order in the app ahead of time and hour in advance and it says it'll be ready to pick up in 15 minutes and you go there in a half hour later they still haven't made it and they said we'll get to it when we have time. I only have an hour lunch break I can't wait an hour in line. If they can't make it they should specify this in the app that it won't be ready in 15 minutes. It's not the employee's fault they only have one person at this location that does everything the company needs to get their act together. Lost me as a customer. If a business is in business to do business you need to hire the people to run your business properly otherwise if people can't get what they order they're not going to order and therefore you won't have a business. read more

Stopped by on a Saturday morning, it wasn't busy so we ordered right away. They have an online deal where you can order a smoothie and get a free toast, I went with that and ordered the Pitaya Paradise smoothie. It was ok, the color of the drink was light pink but the picture on the menu shows a hot pink color so not sure if maybe it needed more Pitaya flavor, it definitely tasted more like a strawberry smoothie. I ordered the PB Crunch toast, comes with peanut butter, banana and chocolate chips, it was good. My friend ordered an acai bowl and it was good. The service was great. The cashier was friendly and helpful when we asked a few questions about the menu. They have a few tables inside and outside to sit and enjoy your meal. read more

I'm soooooo disappointed in Everbowl. I remember coming here when it first opened like 6 years ago and being able to get unlimited toppings and they didn't charge 75 cents if I wanted a drizzle of agave or a sprinkle of chia seeds or bee pollen. I paid 16$ for this bowl when I used to pay 8$ AND not to mention they don't do the bases fresh anymore. I remember you could pick your base/ your milk and now it's so limited and it just makes me super angry. I know times are hard and inflation is at it's all time high but you raise the price to double and you limit the ingredients? They used to also put granola on the bottom but the ratio to granola and fruit to açaí is not it... Oh and the girl forgot to put my goji berries in my bowl so I had to go back... and she puts the tinest little scoop after I told her...that was annoying. I just won't be coming back. read more

My friend came down for her birthday and wanted an evening açaí bowl, we showed up to Everbowl today at 8:20 (they close at 9, it says it on their website, apple, yelp, and the door). The girl came out and said she was "closing" but it was like 40 minutes before they actually closed?? To make it worse while we were deciding where to go, we saw people go inside and get a bowl. I have never ? seen this type of stuff happen ?? like how are you going to reject a customer because you're closing and then continue to take other people at 8:40. Very very disappointing. read more

I appreciate how customizable your bowl from Everbowl can be. You can just go with one of their pre-made options or you can go wild and mix and match so many choices just how you like. I also appreciate some of the more unusual (at least where I'm from) toppings such as goji berries, cinnamon apples, and vanilla bases. I wasn't as enthusiastic about the acai itself. I saw another reviewer mention that it didn't taste like other acai places and that was my thought also. I didn't dislike it but I didn't find the taste as strong as I'm used to. I also prefer a crunchy granola middle but theres was more of a texture similar to Rice Krispies. None of these were deal breakers and I did eat food from here more than once. read more

I love the chipotle like concept, you can order a premade bowl or create your own for $1 more. Definitely a great refuel after a long hike! The acai bowl options are already constructed , but you need to pay $2 if you want to build your own bowl. My friends and I tried the Everbowl which is the basic acai base with granola, blueberries, strawberries, and banana. The acai tasted different than any other acai place I have been too.. If I could give negative stars, I would. I was there earlier today and there was a red haired guy and blonde lady working. The blonde seemed like she was from corporate, and was rude to me. She ignored me when I came in. I've been here multiple times because I love açaí, but I will never go back because that was the final straw. I've come in before and the workers would tell me how awful they are treated. Their policies are insane and the employees seem like they are NOT treated with respect. I have even come to this everbowl while other people from corporate were there, training employees. They seemed cold and rude. Their vibes were eerie and distant. Recently gave this place a try, since the Oceanside/Carlsbad location didn't really impress me when it first opened. I must say that I genuinely did enjoy the "Perfect Date" bowl. It's a nice switch from the regular traditional açaí bowls. The fruit was fresh, which I love because often time there's locations where the fruit is going bad and you can't see it unless you taste it. I've been coming here routinely for about 5 years and finally reached my limit of their raised prices and ever-changing structure. I went in today for two bowls and it cost over $30 for one small and one large with no additions. Apparently now it costs per topping if you want to customize a pre-made bowl - which is ridiculous as that means it's 75+ cents for three extra blueberries and another 75+ cents for a splash of honey. You could end up with a $30 bowl if you're not careful. It's another cash grab. Employees always seem sad to be there. Since Covid this place has changed. They're an anti-cash establishment these days and their bowls have shrunk in size and have gone up way too high. The toppings are now limited. They had early success because they offered good value but not anymore. The least expensive bowl Is now $8 for a tiny one. The large used to be that price but if you want the large from pre-Covid says with several toppings it's gonna cost you $14. That's some pricey dessert. I'm on the fence about this place. The woman who took my order was friendly and my Everbowl came was ready in just a few minutes. The bowl itself is huge and presentation beautiful. It was my first time trying goji berries and they were delicious! The grapes were so good too! I've never had grapes in an acai bowl. The acai was a bit watery and chunky. What turned me off was the giant, rock solid piece of acai ice in the middle of my bowl. How did they even miss seeing that? I went back to the counter to ask the workers what it was because at first I thought it was a broken part of the blender. The man behind the counter looked at it, apologized for the chunk of ice but from his dismissive tone, I take it that that was a regular occurrence. Too bad... I LOVE Everbowl, and go to various locations semi-regularly! This was by far the worst experience I have had at any location. I placed an order for a "whatever bowl". I am already disappointed in them severely limiting the toppings these days, but that's another story. Once I placed my order, I sat down with my husband. We proceeded to wait for 20 minutes for them to make ONE bowl for us. I have never waited more than 5 minutes tops at other locations. Other people were sitting and waiting too, including someone who had ordered online. There were two younger girls working there - one was making the food, and one was just standing there watching her! Finally, after waiting for 20 minutes, our bowl was made and put on the pick up counter. I noticed a color of one of the bases that was not looking like what I ordered, so I quested it. They had given me the wrong base. So, I wait again! 5 minutes later, I have a correctly made bowl (over 25 minutes after placing my original order...). They did not offer to give me the bowl they made incorrectly, which was fair. I only paid for one bowl. But I did see them put a lid on it and stick it in a freezer. My husband and I are sitting and eating right by the pick up counter, when another couple comes to pick up their orders. The staff member then offers the bowl they made for me incorrectly to these other customers who got their orders right away! They gave it to them for free! I could not believe what was happening. We were sitting 2 feet away from this. I felt that this was HORRIBLE customer service.. to not compensate us for the extremely long wait time and incorrect order is one thing, but to essentially compensate another customer who was unaffected, while I was sitting right there watching and listening, was highly unprofessional. I will absolutely never go to this location ever again. Please train your employees better. read more
