As a preface, I'd like to say that I value taste extremely high compared to service or ambiance,…read moreand I weigh price highly as well. Overall, The Alley has a lot going for it. Drinks are amazing and locations are well placed and spaced which makes it easy for me to access as a consumer. Ambiance and service are nothing special, but I could not care less. The alley constantly comes out with new flavors and options for me try, but this is where the problem strikes. They constantly create drinks which appeal to niche demographics and so I regularly do not enjoy the new flavors. The Alley plays heavier to tea enjoyers and less to people like me who hate tea but enjoy fruit smoothies and toppings. I love the ube taro/puff brown sugar bubble tea in particular, because I cannot figure out whether it has tea in it or not. There are a lot of options, so I am sure I can do some searching for a better flavor, but I would say they do not have a lot of drinks that appeal to a wide demographic. The rewards program also sucks, might as well not exist, and so when I talk about pricing, I will not consider the rewards program (12 drinks for 1 free). The drinks are worth the price ($8.5 for a large), but it is on the expensive side of most bubble tea stores. For example, Coco has offers and deals on good drinks to bring the cost down to 2 drinks for $10. The point I am trying to make is that The Alley is premium in flavor and cost which encourages me to go to other locations for an alternative simply because I want to buy food alongside a drink and stay within my budget. Worth going too once in a month or to satisfy a craving, overall great place.

The drinks are fantastic! Genuinely my favourite place to get drinks and I'm CONSTANTLY craving it…read more My favourite is the crunchy strawberry milk tea. Cozy space and lots of seats, but I always have to wait forever for my drink. There were at least multiple times where I had to wait like 20+ mins for a drink since there was only one worker. I can't really blame them because it can get busy at times, but waiting like 30 mins for a tiny little drink is insane. I swear the service used to be much faster so it might have just been the days I chose to go. They have a great bathroom, though. I was shocked at how nice it was.

Compared to the main chains / other options nearby (coco's and real fruit) this place is far better. My go to drinks when im feeling like a fruit tea i would get: divine fruit tea ( this is a fun blend of fruits with aloe and basil seeds) or the grapefruit green tea with crystal boba. If im feeling like a milk tea, i get the triple crown since i love toppings. I'd always adjust sugar to be less. The polar and milkshake ones aren't my favourite since they are too sweet. The cream brûlée dessert, i believe are the ones from costco with glass containers. The cheese cakes are from cheese cake factory. If you are feeling snacky, they are okay. Service is very friendly. I would suggest downloading the app to collect points if you plan to frequent often or order ahead for pick up to save time. There's a couple of seats inside and ample parking.

I loved the amount lychee jelly they added and the orders were ready super fast. It seems a bunch of people placed orders to go too but that didn't disrupt the service. It was also close to the place I stayed at, I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Canada!

I was at Bramalea City Centre on Wednesday after work. I had eaten an early dinner at the north food court. I was staring at this CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice place as I was eating. Getting some bubble tea afterwards would be great. I walked over. I saw two women leave the counter without any drinks. They seemed disappointed. I walked up to the counter and got a friendly woman. I ordered my usual, which was a large strawberry black tea. I get it with no sugar and less ice, and add coconut jelly. The woman asked if I'd be okay with a strawberry-cranberry version instead. It wasn't what what I had in mind. This store had a shortage of strawberries. I was game to change things up slightly. What I'm not a fan of is folks telling me that my drink will be sour without sugar. I realize that they mean well. However, I have been cutting out sugar in my drinks for over a decade. I'm okay with it. I also had to explain that the coconut jelly has sugar, so it's not like this drink will be super sour. Same goes with the strawberries in it. She admitted that I was right. No kidding! It's my go-to drink at CoCo, minus the cranberries. It's not my first bubble tea rodeo. I tapped to pay for my drink. I got a text for my receipt. I then waited patiently for my drink, which didn't take long to make. I didn't see the $3.99 drink special until after I had ordered my drink. Next time! My drink was ready. I thanked the woman. She seemed more interested talking to her two other colleagues in Mandarin after I got my drink. My drink was yummy. The strawberries were naturally sweet. There were cranberries that were more on the sweet side than tart. This drink was cold and refreshing. I loved the coconut jelly. It's a decent stall, minus running low on strawberries at 4 pm. So happy this tastes delicious!…read more I was excited to see a new bbt spot so close to home. I was stalking their grand opening all year lol. Finally decided to try it on a Sunday right when they opened. I was the only one there. I went with the original milk tea in size regular, duh, with half sugar and less ice. I love the cups, they're so cute and so aesthetically pleasing. First sip, and I was nodding my head yes. The black tea flavour is strong and I think it was even stronger since I got half sugar. It was the slightest bit bitter but again, I got half sugar and this didn't bother me too much. The black tea shined through. There's not much to add except this is a strong competitor against Chatime and BR black milk tea. I would say the flavour is a little stronger at Kung Fu. Also, I didn't notice until after paying but Kung Fu also has bubble cake!! Soooo excited to get one! Now I don't need to travel all the way to pmall, but I hope it's just as good! I'm really hoping this establishment/location survives the pandemic. I will defs be supporting them!

Service was a little slow because everyone was in training still, but it was a soft opening with 20% off everything. In comparison to the Kung Fu Tea in Mississauga, something seems lacking here... Like there isn't enough flavor in the teas. I got the Lychee Iced Tea here and it was more Lychee than tea. While the Mississauga location was a lot more flavorful and had both the tea and lychee flavors pop. The Brown Sugar Tapioca was lacking sugar here... As if not enough sugar was added... On a one-to-one comparison, I would rather go all the way to Mississauga for Kung Fu Tea.
