To be fair, it was 4 in the afternoon when we came here, so there weren't many people around except the staff. The place has a really cool vibe with A LOT of activities for us young-at-heart. Skee ball, various vintage and newer video games, many which are free. Ping pong outside with many areas to sit with friends. See saws for adults! Plus two rooms for karaoke! I'm sure during their busier times one wouldn't be able to do many of the things they have available. They have a full bar with many in-house suggestions with funny names. We really wanted to try their "Pinche Tacos" but we had other plans for the evening for food. Next time, nerds!

One of the most memorable stops on our vacation! The ambiance is great, and the service was intimate and relaxing. It was empty when we came in (because of the rainy day) and they had an event later in the evening, but they still let our group come in and play some of the arcade games. Unfortunately, a good portion of the games were out of commission. Some upkeep on older games and it would easily be a five star!

Great atmosphere, fun games, not too crowded. If it's your birthday they let you ring the gong! Very fun!

Smells like discrimination and appropriation... Unfortunately after traveling hours to visit Nashville for our friends bachelorette, our LGBTQ+ friend was denied access to Kung Fu because of a pair of blue vintage joggers and one friend with black shorts. I could clearly see that "athletic wear" wasn't acceptable but "khakis, and wedges" were. I think there's a bigger issue here, but we gathered our crew who was inside and left the establishment. As a group of tourist, it would be informative to put the dress code on the site, not on a plain sheet of paper with 11 font. And then say, "that type of attire is acceptable before 8pm", really sir? But we just saw guys with ball caps and Nikes leaving your club ‍. Do better.

Super cool little spot. Went specifically for the beetlejuice pop up which was really neat! Outside of that they have a huge inside with arcade games such as skee ball and basketball shoot things! Outside is a huge patio with T.V's, nice lighting and music. Kind of a younger crowd but at 31 I wasn't uncomfortable. Definitely a good place to check out for some night life. Also, they have tater tots!

So we were looking for some evening entertainment! This place in Midtown is great. Great drinks! The vibe is cool. Spacious with patio and large indoor game room where all the throw back arcade games are free. Skew ball, Donkey Kong, Ms. PAC-man and even Guitar Hero! Too many to name. Check it out!

I got lucky and found an AirBNB right in the middle of all the bars in Midtown (Johnny Cash's old pad they say). So I made a visit here during my tour of some of the bars in this part of Nashville I haven't visited before. Kung Fu Saloon is a national chain and I usually avoid those like the plague BUT they do have video games and I need to play my old school video games. The outside area looked cool and also had games but there were no people out there as it was cold and a slow rain was drizzling down during my visit. I have driven past this bar during nicer and warmer times of year and it has been much more active so I need to make another visit when the weather is nicer on one of my future trips to Nashville.

Good place to chill outside and watch a game or chat with friends. The drinks are decent and the ambiance is why we come here.

Ask the Community - Kung Fu Saloon

What are the age requirements for the bar? 18+ or 21+ I’m looking to make a trip with my 18 year old daughter.

18+ are allowed in the bar. This place was fun. I recommend booking ahead. If you will have a bunch of family and friends, the karaoke rooms can be booked as private events. It's so much fun! Happy Birthday to your daughter!!!

How many people fit in the private karaoke rooms?

Is this a teen friendly place with adults?

Before 8/9. Pm sure. It turns to a bar/night club.

I ordered the wrap, all the ingredients tasted fresh but the wrap tasted very much like a gas station wrap. The turkey in it was not good and tasted cheap and old. The fries on the other hand were pretty good. The Mac and cheese was also very creamy and good. Service was absolutely terrible. When I ordered an IPA I just asked her to get me whatever she recommended. Her response was "I don't know I hate IPAs" okay, can't you ask a bartender for dealers choice. Ridiculous. We didn't great our drink order until sitting for 30 mins. We didn't get our food order for almost an hour after sitting and instead of asking us what we wanted to order they just came by to take the menus. I had to say "can't we order food" which made them stop and take our order. Terrible, terrible service. I've had better food, I'd go elsewhere.

My friends and I sat outside and although it took awhile for our waitress to find us & get our food & drink orders I wouldn't fault them as it was packed prior to the game. I had the cheese curds as an app (large portions & very good) & the honey barbecue chicken tenders with fries. I wasn't a huge fan of the fries as they are thick and square cut which isn't my favorite style, but the chicken tenders were some of the best I have had. No stringy bits you often get at restaurants, just good fresh tasting chicken. Sauce was good as well. Would come back, the buffalo chicken chimichanga sounded really enticing

The salad was fresh and surprisingly great, my gf mom really enjoyed it. the smashed burger was really solid with a soft bun, good toppings, i had the smashed burger and bacon jam. Could use more bacon jam though. It came with fries the fries came out looking soggy but the waiter was 100% she saw it and took it back and it came out crispy . My gf enjoyed her brussels sprouts and pizza rolls. Everything came out looking good and tasted fresh. The atmosphere is fun and energetic, but it is definitely loud, so keep that in mind if you're wanting a quiet dinner. They've got 2 pool tables, snack candy food dispenser, video poker, jukebox, AND several old school arcade machines. They had them before all the hipster barcades started too popping up too, talk about OG bar fun I tell you. They have a deadbeat DJ playing top 40s and decent hiphop on weekends, with a solid sound system and great acoustics for the venue because of its lodge-esq feel and open air wooded infastructure. The fact that it turns into a dance club atmosphere with bass booms, lasers lights, and low lighting is a nice breath of fresh air compared to the honkey skonk suet downtown. Nothing special, just a nice dance club dive at night. This atmosphere also attracts hoodwinks, so be warned. Theyre all honestly harmless as long as youre not acting like a complete doucet - or wearing a certain gang color (sarcasm?). For demographics, this bar is par for the course in its neck of the woods. I hate that they dont serve drinks in real glasses though, only plastic. Theyve got a wide variety of TVs, not the biggest, but they do the job. They also have poker on Wednesday nights. The food is pretty decent, they actually use a grill.
