My daughter scored very high on several of "their" sub tests, and did not get as high on the actual test. They took credit for subtexts where she outperformed "their" mock test, but failed to recognize culpability when she did not perform as well in others. not worth the money if you want a composite over 30.

Chicago Home Tutor responded to my initial inquiry super fast, we had a great discussion as to her needs and her personality, and the fact that I believe she may also have some form of learning disability or adhd (undiagnosed but showed same symptoms her her diagnosed brother). Then they quickly identified a couple matches and one recommendation for a tutor and within a matter of days we had our first in-home appointment set up. The match was made so perfectly that my daughter has had great success in strengthening her math skills with her tutor. We will continue through this next school term because Chicago Home Tutor has been of such great benefit I am confident my daughter will not just be fully on top of her grade level math skills but will also be ahead of the game. I took a PMP exam prep class from Project Management Academy the week of 8/31/15 at the Rolling…read moreMeadows location. It is very difficult to choose a PMP prep class online, not knowing much about the teacher you will receive, the quality of the teacher, language issues, etc. I had previously taken non-PMP classes from other providers and had been disappointed that our training materials were clearly written by someone whose first language was not English, and I had to struggle to understand the instructor through his accent. I ultimately went with PMA because of the price of the class was reasonable & there was a solid pass guarantee. Our teacher Asad is from the UK and had a very cool British accent that made him sound very knowledgeable. In truth, he WAS very knowledgeable about the exam and how to best prepare. This course was geared towards passing the PMP. If you are looking for a class on how to be a good project manager, do not look for a PMP prep class. This class is preparing you for success on your PMP exam. What I liked best: the laminated study guides, the online mock exams, the study skills booklet, and Asad's ability to walk us through the common tricks on the exam and how to avoid them. Asad was able to highlight areas of the course that are heavily tested, areas that aren't heavily tested, etc. He explained the course material extremely well. It was easy to understand. The manual was very well-written & well-organized. Practice questions followed every chapter. By the time I completed the course, I am sure I could have passed the exam the next day. However, PMA recommends waiting 1-3 weeks after completion of the course to provide extra studying test. I took another 10 days and studied hard during that time. The mock exams on PMA's website were very useful & gave great practice with the types of test questions and what to expect. They also gave me complete confidence walking into the exam that I would pass. So far everyone from our class who has taken the exam has passed. This is a testament to the great preparation from PMA and Asad. I highly recommend Project Management Academy to anyone seeking their PMP certification.

In second grade my daughter was at risk for failure in math. I took her to Mathnasium over the…read moresummer and through the school year and she got straight A's in math. As a parent I loved that no worksheets came home, there is a flexible drop in schedule and the staff really likes and understands math and how to teach it to kids. And they really like kids too you can tell. The program is complimentary to the districts program and they reach out to the teacher to make sure they know what the kids are working on. My daughter likes it because she feels more confident in math and earns treats as rewards for work progression and A's on tests. We like it so much in fact that we will be placing our 1st grade there over the summer as well.
