There are families who have been a part of the CHA family for 20+ years due to multiple children and grandchildren... This is such a testimony to what kind of place CHA is. CHA has been such an important part of our family. Ever since the beginning, when my children started in the preschool classes, to life's ups and many downs, there has not been a time where our lives were not positively touched by someone associated with CHA, whether it'd be faculty, staff or friends. We love the small class sizes as the teachers really get to know my children--their strengths, weaknesses, and quirks--to work with me to nurture them. The faculty and staff really try to model Christ in what they say and do. I love this environment where the daily activities are bathed in prayer (daily morning faculty devotions to start!) and that my children and I are being prayed for. As icing on the cake, CHA offers a strong academic program as well. My daughter, who is a junior in the Upper School this year, is constantly being challenged with a multitude of AP and Duel Credit courses. All courses are taught through a biblical lens and I believe this helps my children a unique perspective to the world around them. CHA offers opportunities for sports, theater, student council, paper--and almost everything else in between so the opportunities for all that my children are provided. The bond between the students is strong as they encourage each other, pray for each other and just love on each other. I am so appreciative towards CHA--its dedication to bringing up soldiers for the Kingdom. It truly has been a blessing in our lives.

Back then my son was in preschool in kindergarten so he didn't really know what was going on but now he's in third grade and he communicates with us perfectly. While looking through his old yearbook together, we stumbled upon this teacher's picture. He said she was very unkind to him with another kid and him were trying to grab an item. He would always give it to the other kid and yell at him . He said he specifically felt singled up by her that she was nice to everybody except him and it was making him very confused but now that he's older and can understand I told him about racism. I told him there's certain people that think they're they're better than others because of their skin color and they like to abuse, helpless little children, while smiling at their occupation, saying that their Christians, that is absolutely disgusting . SHe would always pull him aside and be mean to him while smiling in our faces. My wife thought she was the nicest one there. But she is a racist just trying to cover herself. Christian Heritage Academy you should do better and you should be ashamed of yourself hiring people like that. We trust you with our kids. And we pay you very well for the services. Please get your act together. We are truly disappointed in you 10 thumbs down for you guys.

The discovery of my blind spots and how they've affected me over the years was one of the many discoveries I made while participating in this training. Emotional intelligence training is a powerful tool to clear the path to the future you desire, because it teaches you to DESIGN it based on YOU rather than on some formula. I also love the fact that this company is genuinely concerned with the PEOPLE it trains rather than merely looking at it's participants as merely just another number. Make no mistake, it's challenging, but hey, what of value isn't? Like I said, it's an investment in you...aren't you worth it?

I am so impressed with the structure of Huntington's tutoring. I appreciate the fact that Huntington as provided space and time for the student to reflect on their teachers, the strategies they have learned, practice tests they have taken and the communication with parents. This is how results happen and how students find success! Not only is Huntington teaching students test taking strategies, but strategies that can use in college. For parents out there that will have students that will take the ACT or SAT, we highly recommend this place.

Having two children who have now graduated and moved onto high school...I can still attest to the…read moregreat school St. Barts is. Academically - both my children tested and successfully made it in at Loyola Academy. Numerous other graduates from both of their graduating classes successfully made it into selective enrollment schools or are enrolled in honors/ap classes at other Catholic high schools. The biggest positive of this school, that I am just realizing in hindsight is the type of kids that go here. After realizing how "advanced" some other kids were in areas of sex, drugs, alcohol who came from other neighboring grammar schools I was so thankful that wasn't an issue at St. Barts. We have such good kids and caring families as well as a dedicated staff. I'm sure that goes a long way when keeping our kids out of trouble. It's crazy what's out there. We r so blessed to have been in a safe situationall all their grammar school years. I really want to clear up what "Jerry H." On this site said about the school caring more about basketball than they do about academics. Obviously by using basketball as the only sport cared about I have to wonder if this post is made by a parent from another school. Yes we have a fantastic girls basketball program. As well as other sports like volleyball and cheerleading. The school has no focus or governing on our athletics. We are ran separately from the school and through the parish. The only "effort" afforded our athletic program is by our volunteers who coach. We have a parish paid athletic director and that's it. Sports are not pushes...nor the focus of our school. If we have winning records and do well...we celebrate it...that's all! Jerry- your facts are also wrong when it comes to the "rules" governing athletics. Those rules have been around for years. They were resurrected as a type of reminders to schools about time spent. The only thing that has changes is that we had to drop out of one of the leagues we did. So did a lot of neighboring schools. I can guarentee our school was not a reason for the rules. We only practiced once or twice a week before the rules...and the same holds true for now.

Unfortunately, my impression of it does not match their enthusiasm. Although his teacher (Ms. Sarah) did follow some Montessori practices, it is just way too Roman Catholic for me. As I understood it from parents of preschool alums, the preschool is run separately from the K-8 school. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. As a non-RC, I was put off by how much religious education/indoctrination my son received. The school pushed The Church's political agenda to preschoolers!

But after four years at the school, I can confidently say that I am amazed by how effective this method is and how well it supports my child's individual growth. Our child is now in kindergarten, and one of the things that continues to impress me is the sophistication of the curriculum. Every day, he brings home work that I would have been doing in second or third grade--adding and subtracting fractions, solving word problems, and even working with four-digit multiplication. The school's approach really allows children to progress (and f accelerate) at their own pace. It's incredible to see how engaged and excited he is about learning. Even more importantly, he is thrilled to go to school each morning. Knowing that he wakes up eager to learn and be part of his classroom community speaks volumes about the environment Chiaravalle has created. Another standout aspect of Chiaravalle is the extraordinary educators. Over the past four years, our child has had three different classroom teachers, and every single one has been a true education professional, deeply dedicated to their students. They don't just teach; they observe, adapt, and create a learning experience that meets each child where they are. Their ability to recognize strengths and nurture individual potential is remarkable. Beyond academics, Chiaravalle is an incredibly close-knit and welcoming community. The relationships our child has built--with peers, teachers, and other families--are meaningful. It's a place where children are treated with dignity, encouraged to explore, and supported in becoming confident, engaged learners. We truly believe that Chiaravalle is giving our child the best foundation--not just academically but socially and emotionally as well. We feel incredibly grateful to be part of this school.
