So far so good! After a lot of research I applied for collegiate and we were accepted. Before enroll jefco even notified my Megan was contacting me to guide me, answer questions, be of any assistance and set up a walk-through to check out the school. During the enrollment process she checked in and updated me frequently. At registration completion they had everything organized and the entire staff was helpful, friendly and welcoming. Another reason I was interested in this school is the class sizes, they are small allowing note attention to my childs learning with the teachers not having to focus on 16 students at a time. My son loses interest quickly if he isnt involved or doesnt feel included so I look forward to the advancements he will make with his teacher and 8-11 fellow classmates. Im grateful to be apart of this community so far and having my son in a school I feel comfortable with leaving him at during the day was my main priority. Will update my review as we get more into it.

My son attended this school for one year as an eighth grader after having moved from another state…read moreinto CO during the summer. In my opinion, it was a great fit for him after having had multiple life changes over the previous few years. (divorce, multiple moves, so on) The small class sizes here allow teachers to gain a perspective on students that a typical classroom, quite simply, probably wouldn't allow. I thoroughly appreciated the insights teachers provided during P/T conferences. They gave not only academic but social insights into my son's life that I would not have otherwise had. (Don't tell him I said that ) Having said all of that, he decided to go to elsewhere for his high school years. Whether or not it's a good decision for him remains to be seen. In any case, I would urge parents (and their students!) to consider Collegiate Academy. As parents we must help our kids decide what is best for them at a given time. The beauty of Jeffco is this ability to have options. We haven't had this option presented so cleanly to us in any other school system. Please check them out.

As first-time parents navigating the daycare experience, we didn't quite know what to expect--but she has exceeded every hope we had and more. Miss Jenna has such a natural gift for working with babies. She is genuinely kind, patient, and attentive, and it's clear how much she truly cares. Our 5-month-old absolutely adores her--he lights up the moment he sees her in the morning, which gives us so much comfort and reassurance. She consistently goes above and beyond to make sure our baby feels loved, safe, and well cared for throughout the day. We especially appreciate the thoughtful updates and photos she sends--they brighten our day and help us feel connected even while we're apart. We are so grateful for Miss Jenna and the positive, nurturing environment she creates. She has made our first daycare experience an overwhelmingly wonderful one, and we truly couldn't ask for a better person to care for our baby!!

My daughter in law had a tour of this location and I was appalled. the under 2 room was a slightly…read moreoversized janitor closet with nothing of color on walls it the floor the children were just wondering around with absolutely nothing to do. I asked if this was a transition room possibly between outside taking off coats washing hands etc... and was told no they were in that room all day. The regular teacher admin out of the country, but was not doing anything to quarantine yourself when she got back they were just going to 'watch her' to see if she had any symptoms of Covid or other illness she was with the children. it broke my heart to see these little ones wondering around so miserably no smiles no laughter. I then witnessed 2 boys tormenting a girl in a different class pretending to use light cabers as weapons as she lay on the floor covering her head. A teacher an aide as well as the asst director not paying any attention to what was happening. I was livid that this was being allowed or ignored and instantly said something so that the situation was addressed. I have been in education for years and would not allow this facility to watch any child. I wish I had known the little girls family so I could contact them and told them what was happening. Obviously there was no way we were using this daycare. I plan to pursue the issues with state. Please for your children Do Not use this facility and be extremely cautious when leaving your children in the care of others. My daughter in law had heard gold reviews of this location. Completely unfathomable! The other locations also withheld their deposits for waiting lists when they choose to question the level of commitment to children! Disgraceful on every level.

I was really impressed with their curriculum: music, dance, Art time, free play, etc. The teachers were engaging, kind and yet enforcing the rules and structure which is absolutely a necessary component for toddlers. When we came back to Cali to our regular pre-school, our teachers commented that they saw such a positive change in our son's behavior and also a progress with his numbers, letters, etc. It'd be a no brainer if we lived in Denver for us to enroll our son full time. Highly recommended!

If zero stars was an option that would be my rating. I can only hope this review is read by parents…read morebefore enrolling children into this center. It is under staffed, unsafe and during my short time I witnessed a dozen licensing violations. The preschool class room has 12 to 15 children at any given time ages 2 1/2 to 4 years with only one adult. Current ratio is 8:1 for children 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 and 9:1 for 4-5. Because of the mixed ages in the class room some children arent potty trained and need to be changed frequently. However, there is no changing table in the room causing the only adult to leave 11 to 14 other children unattended or forcing a child to go hours without proper changing. With little supervision children are getting hurt constantly. The play ground has lose gravel wich is a breeding ground for more injury. I've witnessed several injuries from minor scratchs to concussions, none of which were reported to parents at the time and no incident reports were filed. In addition punishment for the young children is obscene and over zealous considering the mentality and maturity of the children. Kids are threatened with sitting in the office and when taken they do not return to the classroom for anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour. I've had parents tell me that the director yelled at a child and threatened they would not get breakfast if they could not behaive. Since when is a 30 minute time out or withholding meals a reasonable punishment? Last week was a tornado warning for the area, while taking my family to a safe place I called the center to ask if they too were on lock down. Being the center is mostly windows I was concerned for their safety. I was told no, and that the children attending before and aftercare were being picked up. An additional call was then made to the pickup school and we were notified the kids were not being released at their useal time due to the weather advisories. However, the person picking up the kids still went into the school and demanded the children be relaesed into his care. You can imagine the horror I along with the parents were faced with. Lucky the tornado didn't touch down, but if it had, who knows what could have happened. I, along with several other parents have addressed these safety concerns with the director, only to be told it is not something she can fix because she is overwhelmed with other duties. To my knowledge the center as of now, has 3 pending violations with the county and after a call to social services and licensing I'm certain the number will be inflated here shortly. Lastly, becuase the center is understaffed they are struggling to find qualified personal to fill the positions. Most of the "teachers" have NO quilifications, formal education or the state required 3000 hours of experience for early childhood education. You can imagine with no training or proper experience, many of these employees are not equipped to manage children properly in this situation. The teachers are commonly yelling at children and threatening them. When these means aren't productive bribery of candy or ice cream (which isn't actually ever given) becomes the new barging chip. My only suggestion is to put serious research when finding a provider for your child. Walk into the center several times unexpectedly and allow yourself a real view of the environment your child is placed in. A provider should be loving, caring, excited to see your child, he/she should come home with stories to tell and singing songs they've learned. If you son/daughter is crying when being dropped off, please let that be an indication that something is not rite.

The school would not allow his ABA therapist to attend with him, and conversations consistently focused on limitations rather than collaboration or accommodation.
