Located in the Pukalani Terrace shopping center, this hardware shop is located just next door from the Bank of Hawaii (Pukalani Branch). A few times while I was working at the both banks - Bank of Hawaii, as well as American Savings Bank, I needed a particular tool, or lubricant, and lucky for me this Ace Hardware store was just next door, so it was convenient for me where I could just walk over & get what I needed to properly finish up a job. I swear if this Ace Hardware store wasn't here, it would be very tragic for me, as I would have to get into my rental car & probably drive all the way back down to Kahului to get to the closest hardware store. This Ace Hardware store is by far not the biggest store (as compared to some of the big box hardware stores), but each time I needed something, this particular Ace Hardware store has never let me down by having the item I needed! Service here is great! If you can't find what you're looking for, no shame, just ask a clerk and they will lead you to the area where the item is. Parking for this hardware store is easy, as the Pukalani Terrace Shopping Center has a lot of parking. Need to get a tool to finish up a project? All he was attempting to do was a simple exchange within 1 hour but hadn't located his receipt. The manager recalled him being there and completed the transaction. We do appreciate her support and later located our receipt. Sadly the manager witnessed this poor example of an employee and we are seeking to discuss this experience with higher management and/or owner of this branch. No Aloha given so no aloha returned. If you live out in the country in Haiku, it's very convenient not to have to drive all the way into town. They have really good selection of garden supplies for organic gardening. The staff today were very friendly and helpful and loaded the stuff into my car for me. It's nothing glamorous, as the store is located in an old refurbished pineapple Cannery. So there's a lot of history here which makes it kind of interesting. People in Haiku really like to grow things, so tise store is very convenient and helpful for the community.

When you arrive to the store they tell you, "oh I don't know, the manager sells it, I don't know what time the manager arrives, he sells a little bit at a time." If that's the case, why does this store advertise on the website "available to purchase in store" if they're going to discriminate and decide who they want to sell to? I actually come here because within the store, you'll find a whole array of kitchen items and gadgets tucked away in a little corner. Growing up, I remember it used to be stocked with THE cutest Christmas items and decorations. I can't remember when the transition to kitchen goods happened, but adult me thinks it's great, lol. There are small appliances, high-quality knife selections, wooden utensils and plating, pots, pans, decorations and basically all the essentials that you would need for your home kitchen! You can also find some things here that you wouldn't normally find in other stores like an Ooni pizza oven, Japanese knives, and pretty tea sets. The ladies behind the counter are always so nice and helpful. On my last visit I was looking for items for an event and while I didn't find everything I needed, I found some cute bamboo tongs that were priced very reasonably. Other than the hardware, definitely stop in here sometime if you're looking for some kitchen goods too or maybe insulated Yeti bottles which line the wall at the entrance.

Larry, even though he was in lumber, took the time out and walked me to the right aisle to get a Husky lamp. He needed to get ladder and pull my item down which took him away from his duties. He then walked me to where the headlamps are and patiently helped me search for headlamps on the ladder as well. He never let me feel rushed or was a bother. Thank you Harry!

I normally go in, but today I had my elderly mother, so curbside was more practical, but nevertheless I had to go in to get my one thing. What's the purpose of calling it curbside if I gotta go in to get it?
