This was a last minute visit so for the first time in ages I went in without an appointment. Luckily there were a lot of techs working and I only waited for about 15 minutes. You check in on a touch screen (with hand sanitizer right next to it). If you want to wait outside they'll text you when they're ready for you. Also all names are listed on the TV screen with estimated wait times. Very helpful. The blood draw itself is quick and easy and very safe. Pretty much as its always been there. I've never had any problems here and the employees are always friendly.

We brought our daughter, who is under 9, here for her very first blood draw specifically because this location was recommended to us as pediatric-friendly. I called beforehand and was told we could come as a walk-in. We arrived around 3:09 PM, well before the posted sign-in/closing time, only to find that the two employees working had already removed the sign-in board and apparently decided they were no longer taking patients. Instead of simply explaining that, they repeatedly told us that they had "removed the board." I finally had to ask directly whether that meant they were refusing to see any additional patients before they would give us a clear answer. When I explained that I had just called and was specifically told to come in, their demeanor became even more dismissive and irritated. Several patients were waiting and knocking because no one seemed to know what was happening. The sliding window was not being opened. When one employee finally opened the actual door, I asked if anyone was going to help the people waiting. She told me it was "up to" the other employee, who was sitting at the computer. When I asked whether they were even going to write my daughter's name down, her response was, "I don't know." What really shocked me was watching a physician from the pediatric ENT office that shares the location walk over with another patient who needed blood work. The lab staff told the physician to send the patient somewhere else because they already had three people waiting. There were still approximately 45 minutes remaining before closing. At one point, after their employee had opened the door and left me standing there waiting for an answer, she told me I should not be standing in the doorway because of HIPAA concerns. If their method of communicating with patients created a privacy concern, that should have been handled appropriately by the staff rather than blamed on a parent who was standing there because they opened the door instead of using the sliding window. We ultimately left without having our daughter's blood drawn because I was not comfortable allowing either employee to perform her first blood draw after witnessing how irritated and dismissive they appeared toward the patients who were trying to receive care. The saddest part was the effect this had on our daughter. She became visibly nervous about having her blood drawn after watching these interactions. We had to explain afterward that what she witnessed was poor customer service and that this is NOT how all laboratories or healthcare professionals treat patients. Healthcare workers have busy days, and I completely understand that. But being busy does not excuse treating patients as though they are an inconvenience, particularly at a location recommended for pediatric blood draws. We contacted our daughter's pediatric office afterward to explain why her ordered blood work was not completed and to make them aware of our experience. I sincerely hope Kaleida Health reviews what occurred at this location on October 1 around 3:00 PM. A pediatric-friendly laboratory should make frightened children feel safer about medical care, not send them home more afraid of it.

There are designated spots to the left when you pull in the parking lot that are clearly marked for Covid-19 testing. Pull in one of the parking spots and someone comes to your car within minutes. Have your mask on with your health insurance card and ID ready. There's no charge for the test. Test results are usually back within 24-48 hours. Mine were back in 26 hours. Go online on their website to check your results. The staff was very friendly and asked if I had any questions. Very fast and efficient process!

I emailed it to the email she gave me then sat on the waiting room again for 30 more minutes until we just left. My advice, just being a print of the script of you go to quest especially in a high stress situation like a child blood draw. They sent a reminder on in email and also texted to remind me on fasting yesterday. Checkin was not too bad, I tried to use the QR Code I got from the email but that did not work. The position of the scanner was awkward to scan my phone. I chose Express check in and just needed to give my phone number, that was easy. The wait was short. The tech I had was pleasant and did a really good job. They needed many tubes but I didn't feel bad at all, it was quick. Great job!

I went to Quest on Sheridan drive. Lawanda drew my blood and caused terrible bruising. She blew my vein in spite of the fact that I warned her I was a difficult draw and asked her not to dig. She also had no clue how to deal with my paperwork and had to finally get help. Terrible experience. Quest standards have definitely negatively changed.
