This has now become my regular Quest location for my routine blood work. I always make an appointment on line. You're taking a chance going in without an appointment since appointments are all taken first. Today my appointment was at 9:10. I arrived at 9:00 & was back in my car heading home at 9:20. Making an appointment was easy on the app; the facility was clean; MOST importantly, Venus was AMAZING!!! She was kind and patient. Even though my physicians office dropped the ball, she did not make me feel rushed or as though I was holding up the process. I am SO THANKFUL for Venus, what a gem!!! read more

This is 2 separate reviews. One for an adult visit, and one for an Infant. Every visit to this Quest has been a Walk-In and the wait que has never been longer than 1 or 2 people ahead. This may not be the case for busy times or Mondays but has been between the hours of 9:00 am and 10:30 am. It is a very clean and new facility with friendly staff, a tablet check in process which is very easy to use, and a few spaced out chairs for waiting. It is located in a shopping center so there is close parking. INFANT BLOOD DRAW (3 stars): - I would NOT recommend this Quest for an infant blood draw. The phlebotomist did try her best and was very nice but she was honest after the first failed attempt and recommended I take my infant to Kaleida on Sheridan/Millersport as they work with infants regularly. This was much appreciated since no mother wants to have to have their baby turned into a little voodoo doll. The phlebotomist at Kaleida got the vein on the first try so I was glad I went elsewhere. ADULT BLOOD DRAW (5 Stars): - I hate needles so I am a talker to try to distract myself. The friendly phlebotomist and I had a nice chat while she drained me of my blood. I've had routine blood testing done here on two occasions. Both times I checked in on the tablet, and waiting an average of 1-2minutes before being called in. The blood draws were quick, painless, and the employees were friendly. In and out in a short period of time. Very clean and professional setting. Will continue choosing this location for the foreseeable future. read more

I recently had the occasion to visit the Quest location at Millersport and Sheridan Drive in Amherst. My appointment was for 2:20pm, I was called after 3pm. Let me mention, I have visited This location Many times previously, Having had exceptional service with extremely pleasant phlebotomists. This time however, was not the case. I was directed to a person named Karen. To say that she was rude would be an understatement. Every single part of my interaction with her, Her tone was sharp, And unpleasant. When I requested that she please forward my blood work results to my personal physician as well as my retina specialist, She told me that she would not do that. I told her that I had had it done in the past with no problem. She proceeded to tell me I would have to sign special papers, Which I was well aware of, But I would have to provide her with the fax numbers of the doctors. I am sure that Quest Diagnostic has all these fax numbers, as they've done this in the past. In my opinion, She was trying to be difficult purposely. I will definitely return to Quest, But will absolutely not have a blood draw by Karen again. I understand they were understaffed that day and extremely busy. However, her attitude was beyond rude. I would like to speak with someone from Quest home office, or the office manager for that location. Please email me when possible. The associate that performed the services was great. The company, on the other hand, leaves a lot to be desired. Their phone number listed on Quest's site and online is wrong. That's a pretty easy one and I worry when a company can't even get that right. Their website is useful if you have a PhD in web browsing. I simply need to update some insurance information and I ended up giving up after about 30 minutes; I should include that I tried to call their customer service (866) number and they said they had a high call volume - and the line disconnected. If you have an option - go elsewhere. The associates are tremendously nice but the company seems to be completely incompetent. read more

I came here in August. The check in was super easy and quick on the tablet. There were two people before me, and I was seen pretty quickly!! The phlebotomist was super nice and understanding that I was nervous. She even let me rest after and got me water! Then I was on my way. It was quick and easy. read more

This was my first time at this new location. The staff was friendly and helpful, despite being busy. Make sure to make an Appointment, as you will be seen much quicker. Also, during covid times, you can have them text you, so you can wait in your can and avoid waiting inside. It was neat and clean! read more

Rude staff and poor service. Staff member Tammy insisted on a mask but could not provide one. She was rude and unprofessional. Refused to take a walk in with just 2 patients waiting . 4181 Transit Rd location was wonderful, had a stock of masks and polite and professional and were willing to take walk in even with a lot of patients with scheduled appointment. read more

My husband and I both had appointments today scheduled them had the number to show that we did of course there's no human to speak to in the waiting room you have to go on a computer and now the computer after doing everything I asked me to do and submit everything they gave me they tell me they can't find me. They tell me I do not exist in their computer even though the computer last week gave me a number . There was an elderly couple ahead of me that had the same issue. I find this horrible and just disgusting especially for the elderly people and they were so confused. And of course I can't ask anybody what happened . Because there's no goddamn human there. My son isn't well, had to drop off a sample for testing. Full waiting room when I entered his info into the login system, it indicated a 58 minute wait. I went to get a cup of coffee, and 7 minutes later, I got a text to return. Got back in 4 minutes and had lost my place in line. More people, now standing room only in waiting room, and another 58 minute wait. I'd hope Quest would be able to give an estimate that's not off by 50 minutes. read more
