Went to this Medlab location for a drive-up Covid-19 PCR test. The location is on Cayuga right…read morenext to Charlie the Butcher. Make an appointment first on their website. There are designated spots to the left when you pull in the parking lot that are clearly marked for Covid-19 testing. Pull in one of the parking spots and someone comes to your car within minutes. Have your mask on with your health insurance card and ID ready. There's no charge for the test. Test results are usually back within 24-48 hours. Mine were back in 26 hours. Go online on their website to check your results. The staff was very friendly and asked if I had any questions. Very fast and efficient process!

I spoke to incredibly helpful people on the phone who set up appointments for my entire family in the 72 hour timeframe before travel that I needed and they guaranteed I would have my results in time. One employee (Deli, who was amazing) answered tons of my questions by phone and email before the appointment with quick responses. It was a drive-thru test (throat swab PCR), they called when the results were ready to pick up (for me it was the next evening), and it was the same drive-thru to pick up the results. If I could give KSL Diagnostics more than 5 stars, I would. Their customer service was outstanding and they delivered guaranteed results which seemed almost impossible to do in WNY.

What they don't tell you is that they will take all the time they feel entitled to take in mailing you your results. Because they won't email them to you. You can schedule the appointment online, and they'll email you to confirm that, but for some reason they can't actually hit the reply button again to send you your results in a timely fashion. I was tested on November 18th at 12:15. The sheet I was (eventually) mailed says my results were received on November 19th. The envelope they mailed to me with those results is postmarked the FOLLOWING MONDAY, November 23rd. It arrived at my home the following day. By this point, the results were meaningless, as I had been quarantining in the basement of my own home with a mask on for nearly a week. The kicker? Because my test was for travel purposes, and not prescribed by a doctor, it cost me ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS. There is a statement on the application you fill out that states "if you need a prescription, our doctor will write you one". I was told once I was on site that this was "a mistake". Cash or credit card, sir? This place is making money hand over fist, and they don't care about you. Go get a free test downtown. At least they won't brazenly lie to you while lining their pockets under the guise of public service.

I had genetic testing done and it was clear it was uncommon, but the phlebotomists in both rooms 1 and 4 were of a great help, figuring out the codes from a different system and in their kindness and professionalism. Great teamwork too. Easy check-in process using cell phone (not so much at the kiosk since you need QR code, ID and insurance card all available to scan), short wait times when you have an appointment. Like the the rooms are private and very clean. I recommend this location!

They sent a reminder on in email and also texted to remind me on fasting yesterday. Checkin was not too bad, I tried to use the QR Code I got from the email but that did not work. The position of the scanner was awkward to scan my phone. I chose Express check in and just needed to give my phone number, that was easy. The wait was short. The tech I had was pleasant and did a really good job. They needed many tubes but I didn't feel bad at all, it was quick. Great job!

I went to Quest on Sheridan drive. Lawanda drew my blood and caused terrible bruising. She blew my vein in spite of the fact that I warned her I was a difficult draw and asked her not to dig. She also had no clue how to deal with my paperwork and had to finally get help. Terrible experience. Quest standards have definitely negatively changed.
