"Original fried chicken mixed" - 24 pieces. This was $30.34 after taxes. Small pieces, overpriced. Includes 2 sauces for $1 each
C C.

I feel like this place has gone a bit downhill over the years. It is now called "Only Chicken". We paid $27.90 ($30.34 after tax) for 24 pieces of "Original fried chicken mixed". However, the pieces are definitely smaller than what we've received here before (I'll post a picture). This ends up being over $1 per piece of chicken. The chicken tastes well, but I feel like it is overpriced. This price includes the $1 per sauce that you pay, which is pretty overpriced for sauce (the non-spicy version is just BBQ sauce). The customer service was also not on par with what we expected. My wife asked over the phone what they recommended. "How would I know that?" was the response. After we decided on what we wanted, she asked if this order would be enough to feed two adults and two young children. The response was "Again, how would you expect me to know that?". The owner and employees could use some training in customer service. It's fine to not know something, but your tone and the way you convey this to customers will leave an impression. A better way might be: "It's really hard to say exactly that because it depends on the customer's appetite and I don't want to mislead you, but usually this is enough to feed a family of 4". Just make stuff up based on your experience, that's all customers really want.

Sesame chicken, green onion & the regular chicken

Me and my friends were looking for a place to eat when we visited Daly City. While looking through so many restaurants on Yelp, this restaurant was the one that caught my eye. We searched for it and it took us a while to find out that it was located in the market. They also sell sushi, bento box and much more! Each one of us ordered different flavored chickens and were satisfied to the max! Their little appetizers that they give in the beginning is also delicious! We would have ordered more of the appetizers but we were on a budget. As for the service, it was very fast and the servers were very nice. There was absolute no problem with customer service. We will definitely be coming back for more chicken!

inside the kukje market - only takeout

Love me some KFC, Korean Fried Chicken! Located inside the Kukje supermarket now I don't have to go all the way to K-town Sunnyvale to get my fix. Shout to Cherylynn N for putting this on the map. Ordered their half and half chicken (honey and spicy),12 wings for $10 . Only Chicken is also only takeout! So after the 15-20 fried to order wait, they wrap your wings in plastic. So instead of having crispy and light wings, they ended up soggy from all the steam. Still good, they came with pickled daikon. The honey was more sticky than sweet and the spicy wasn't that spicy. Tasted like they used a wet batter before frying? Don't worry San Tung, you still got the best wings in the city. I mean, maybe Korean fried chicken tastes better with a bottle of Hite while doing karaoke? (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/vQPe9CHILZ8OBZkQGNjJnw?select=DiKO23gCB0S5j_lp_5ww1w) *They have premade, under the heat lamp, original flavor thighs, breasts, and drumsticks (3 pcs for $4) but the fried to order wings are the way to go. I still can't believe that this place existed for a million years and I only recently found out about it earlier this year!! WTH is wrong with me? And I LOVE chicken wings! Like LOOOOVEEE!!! *smacks self* I've since tried all the different varieties of fried wings they have but for me, the honey wings are my absolute favorite and I could eat them all the time. And I always ask for extra honey cuz I'm sweet like that ;0)

Hot & Sweet wings....some of the best wings ever!

I have been dying to try this chicken for months now and was finally able to put in a to-go order! We ordered two large orders of their original fried chicken (drums & wings combo) and the hot & sweet chicken (wings only). I forgot that you have choice of sauce for the OG chicken but forgot to ask which ones. They gave us a honey mustard one by default. These were by far some of the best wings I've ever had. Pretty good price, maintains a crispy exterior (even within 30min-1hr!), and good flavors. The OG chicken actually tastes pretty good on it's own, but better with sauce. The H&S is much tastier though. There is something satisfying about the caramelized sauce they coated it with. One of the most memorable details for me was the fact that the girl behind the counter was very patient with us, looked over our order, and found a better deal for us based on their packages. Much appreciated! Highly recommend. I will definitely be back to try more of their chicken!

The chicken is now over $15 for 12 pieces. The value isn't as good so downgrading to just A-Ok.

The staff was kind. I had a French dip with a side salad and a Diet Coke just under 20 bucks, but it was enough for lunch and dinner. This spot, location is just the way I remembered it! So glad that I was able to bring some nostalgia and some good food back into my life... Austin Yelp Elite approved.

They used to have more locations, so I have fond memories of their food. They were open on Thanksgiving Day from 9 am to 2 pm. The line actually wrapped around inside the store when I came around 12:30, however I got to the right within 30 mins. So that's not bad compared to other places. You can park on the street or their lot behind the building as they have a small lot . As I mentioned earlier I got half a pound of half a chicken, ham, pastrami and corned beef. Sides where am additional $3 if you were doing the dinner specials. They also had so specials for that day , like a Turkey dinner with two sides. They gave us a tray for all our food which was super helpful when carrying it back to the car. Our favorite was the corned beef and the ham. The pastrami was good but there was some parts where it has too much fat. The chicken was ok, it was just expensive for the size. I think the next time we come back we'll just get the corned beef and ham. I hope to make this our go-to spot for our next Thanksgiving dinners in the years to come .

I want to start with "wow."…read more Wow #1: Perfectly fried katsu. Not greesy, not soggy, not tough. Just crispy, tender, juicy goodness. Wow #2: Portions. We got the King Katsu Combo that came with chicken katsu, fish katsu, and a hamburger steak. And it was HUGE, complete with sides of macaroni salad, cabbage salad, and rice. Also a boat full of sauce. Definitely big enough to split, if you're not super hungry. Wow #3: The price. In a world of ever increasing prices, it's nice to leave not feeling ripped off. The combo was $26, which we were about to split, as I mentioned. By Bay Area standards, that's a bargain, particularly considering it didn't feel like a compromise. The food was delicious, and the dining area is a decent place to enjoy a meal, as well. It's not a strictly carryout place, like some reasonably priced places are. In fact, the service was good; my water was even refilled at regular intervals. I know it's a small thing, but what's not to love? Just remember to leave a good tip! Definitely, I recommend King Katsu Land. And, just for fun, you get to play the fun game of finding the place. Good luck! It's well hidden.

It doesn't exactly taste like a seafood boil but the shrimp and crawfish still tasted good and not overcooked after i heated them up again. The potato was actually so yummy too. It needs more of a garlicky taste with less oil. What I didn't like was the spices were also a bit much for mild and are a grainy texture, i'm assuming something similar to the nashville chicken they sell. Overall, not bad!

Anywho. * Seafood Boil For One ($15.98) - Choose two: Crawfish, shrimp, mussels, clams, or sausage - Includes rice, potato, and corn - Spice level: Mild, medium, or hot My pick: Shrimp & Sausage, HOT The highlights were the soft red potato, sweet corn kernels, and perfectly cooked white rice. The main event was ehhhh - the 5 pc head-on shrimp was overcooked and dry, while the sausage turned out to be sliced hot dogs. À la carte, the shrimp is $19.98/lb; IMO, overpriced for the size and quality. I think they may use their Nashville chicken spice mix for the Cajun sauce. It's savory, very oily, and mild for "hot". I wish they added fresh garlic to boost the overall flavor. Since you have to drive to Man Jose for good Cajun seafood boils, Burnin' Mouth is worth a try if you're in the area.
