I am so glad I trusted him! I have very fine, limp hair and now I can style it wavy or blow dry it straight and it still has more volume and texture than ever before. While getting my perm I was also able to see Marilyn (the other stylist) work with several clients. She is wonderful and very patient with children. A couple weeks later my three year old niece saw Marilyn to get her second ever haircut. She was very patient and when my niece got a little freaked out about the hairdryer, Marilyn was so sweet and did not push it. Because of their small size I personally felt more comfortable than I have at other places. Planning to go back and get color done as soon.

Nicole was upbeat and fun. We chatted as she applied the color but it never felt awkward or forced. During the shampoo, she gave me a mini facial which was quite relaxing and left my skin feeling dewy. She cut and styled my hair and even with the little direction I gave she created the perfect look! I've been getting non-stop compliments about the cut and color - a blend of pink, purple and blue. A gentlemen began applying color and I felt something was off and the next thing I know he's gone and I'm sitting there finally a manager comes over and says he's sick and another stylist was going to finish, no problem. Stylist comes out and she's pissed that she has to do this (mind you I have color on my hair already) she wont answer my questions she was very aggressive and then when she was washing my hair she got soap in my eye and walked away I had to jump up and flush my eye out. Another stylist came over and was very apologetic, but the damage was done. I had to go back and waste three more hours of my time to fix it. I have never been treated so poorly when getting a service. And the guy who started this was back and working on another person didnt bother to say anything to me like sorry i wasnt feeling well but I'm feeling better now nothing just ignored me. And it still cost $185.00. Worst money ever spent!

They are so short that they won't even lay down. It's absolutely the worst haircut I have ever received in 52 years. I had explained that I had trouble growing my hair so I didn't want much taken off and not to cut my bangs. Next thing I know she pulls my hair up and chopped them off. There was only maybe an inch left of them. I don't know any reputable hair stylists that would ever do anything like this. I am. I followed my stylist here from another salon. She had been cutting my hair for a year and had…read moredone a great job. I wanted to change the color, so of course I contacted her. Let's just say, the color (on my COMPLETELY virgin hair) did not go so well. I am a brunette and wanted to go red. The dye took to my roots and not the ends. Even there at the salon, my stylist noticed that something had went wrong. She had to bleach my hair out and then apply the semi-permanent color. After four hours in the chair, a bit of trauma and devastation, I decided to call it quits. I wasn't sure if I was just being emotional or was overtired, so I wanted to give the color a chance. She did not charge me for the color. Needless to say, I woke up the next day and was still devastated. I looked like Ronald McDonald and had "hot roots" (where the dye was splotchy at my roots). I called the salon and asked to speak to a manager. I had thought about attempting to remedy the situation at home, but at this point my hair had been so abused by a plethora of chemicals, I was afraid. I was so mortified, I could not even go out in public, and certainly was not interested in returning to work where my 25 employees would have to attempt to take me seriously. The salon manager called a stylist back in to work to fix it. By fix, we're talking about neutralizing the dye job, but by no means is it my original color nor is it the color I wanted when we set out on this adventure. It's not even a pretty color. Then... they tried to charge me for the correction. I had every intention of tipping the other stylist who performed the correction, but I was not going to pay for a dye job that was so far off from what I wanted AND cost me 6 hours out of my schedule, causing me to miss a class I paid for. The salon manager/owner had the nerve to tell me that it didn't look that bad before the correction and accused me of lying about the last time I dyed my hair.. Even the stylist performing my correction understood why I was upset. Further, I will not pay for a service that is so far off base from what I wanted to begin with. I offered them the opportunity to fix it, but the owner wanted to argue with me and tell me I should pay. I was appalled and will make sure everyone knows that if ANYTHING goes wrong during your visit at Noggins in Anderson, they will not do anything to rectify the situation. Now, I have to take time out of my schedule next week and find a colorist who specializes in corrective color and waste more time, just to get me back to a livable color.

She helps me try something new if my hair does not like it. She never gives up on me. I get emphasis enough how she has helped me.
