I was just visiting in this town for a couple of days. I was leaving Planet Fitness and I looked up in the parking lot and there was a Krystal and a Burger Bros' within 400 ft of each other. So I decided after my workout to put some really fattening high calorie greasy food in my body. I am literally doing a side by side taste test. So this will be the same info on Burger Bros. The Krystal's cheeseburgers and Fry took about 5 minutes to come out in the Drive-Thru. I didn't go inside because I was on my way home. I ordered two cheeseburgers and a fry. I walked over to burger Bros and ordered their specialty cheeseburger with onion rings. Now if you know anything about me I love freshly battered onion rings never Frozen! They said they have hand beer battered onion rings! Ialso have two different choices for packets of ketchup. Krystal s uses Heinz and Burger Bros uses some generic name called 'Red Gold ketchup'and in small print, 'with a cause.' if we start with Krystal's ketchup tomato flavor good stuff. Burger Bros ketchup was overly smooth and look like it was supposed to be ketchup but didn't taste like ketchup. Bummer. Crystal's burgers were how you say chicken or the egg? Who came first Krystals or White Castles? I was born and raised in Detroit and White Castle burgers are the thing to have after a club night. I think Krystals bread on their burger is trying to hard to be special. I like the fact that they leave some skin on their French fries. But it didn't help the flavor much. Burger Bros regular cheeseburger comes with some special sauce tomato and lettuce. I didn't want to add a subtract anything so I got it just the way they want to give it to me. Even though Burger Bros took longer to cook I wasted my time. The highlight was talking to the young man behind the counter it was very helpful and pleasant. He said he was the son of the owner. More power to people of color owning businesses. But I digress, I enjoyed the onion rings with Krystal's Heinz ketchup. Good thing I had some leftover Texas Roadhouse dipping sauce from the night before. Everything tastes good with that stuff! I went inside Burger Bros because they had no drive-thru nobody was there very small seating area. Oh yeah remember this is all around 8:00 p.m. tonight. Yeah I know I just worked out for nothing. So same review on Burger Bros . The only thing that was harmed in the making of this review was my colon. read more

Hey friends, this is my humble warning to stay away from this radioactive excuse for a restaurant, me and my husband were driving when we came across this place so we drove through because we were hungry and it was already 10pm, so I ordered a burger and my husband ordered a chicken sandwich, when we pulled up to the window the guy we saw looked like he weight 350 pounds and smelled like cigarettes and cheese pizza when he was about to give us our food he coughed into the car!! My husband got a random persons spit on him, he finally handed us our food and then I noticed there was a brown stain on the walk in the kitchen!! Who was pooping on the wall sir??? After we received our food I saw a rat climbing on the wall on the restaurant!!! That's right fam A Rat!!!!!! We drove around the parking lot and parked so we could eat our food when we saw a few more rats at the back of the restaurant rummaging through the trash! I had to use the bathroom so I went inside to use the bathroom, once I entered the ladies restroom I saw a cockroach and decided to leave, well anyway I went back to the car to eat my food and when I open my box to check the burger I saw that it had extra mayonnaise and a hair!!!!!! I ordered my supper from the krystal drive thru. My order was wrong ofcourse, as always! Ididn't get my whole order, and only part of a large fries, only a half box. My chili pups was SUPPOSED TO BE chili only, they put so much cheese and mustard on them, barely any chili. Not fit to eat, considering i can't eat dairy products, the buns were hard, not fit to eat, and cold food. I have yet to get what order. The service SUCKS, they are rude, and act like they don't want to even be there. If i pay to eat somewhere, i expect to recieve exactly what i order, hot food! This location should be closed down till they get people who want to earn a paycheck, and serve their customers with dignity!! I WILL NOT go back! read more

If I could put no stars I would! I had an horrible experience today! My food was cold & my eggs was extremely runny and greasy! I went back to get a refund. The manager had an attitude from the jump. Love Krystal's because my Mom use to get us Krystal's every Friday on our way home from school. But, I am so disappointed with the fries they now have. I use to love their soft white fries, they were my favorite part of a Krystal's combo. Now they have these nasty, crunchy fries that are disgusting. We were able to place a large order with them for our students at church. The order was perfect and the service was extremely friendly.

Cashier greeted us by saying "sup" and complaining about her back pain and woeking 6 days a week. Staff argued the whole time we waited on our food. And if you havent stepped foot inside the building like i havent in years, you really should. The cieling has what looks to be like black mold and dust and looks like its going to come down on the employees at any minute. The lady standing next to me looked at me and said this place is going down thats a horrible health code violation. Someone needs to get an inspector in there. read more

C This place needs to be shut down! At least fire everyone "working" there and get actual people who want to work and will! After placing our order and being told we would have to wait 10-15 minutes for them to cook, we had to pull into the parking lot to wait and watch while 3 other customers got their food and leave. So after going inside to wait and waiting for 35 minutes, I got a refund and left! I didn't get the first apology or ask what the problem was he just gave me the money and turned and walked off! On a Saturday night the sign says open till midnight but at 930 I was told in the drive thru that they were closed. This is. It the first time I have had some kind of problem here. It's always something. Last time I was told their system was down. The time before that I was told the power had been out and things would take too long to heat back up. This place may as well just close if they aren't going to be open the posted hours or at least change your hours on your sign. read more

After picking my daughter up from school she asked if we could get something to eat so we stopped by Krystal's in Columbia. I was trying to order and kept getting rudely interrupted by the person taking my order. As I get to the window I here here scream and cursing about the order and she asked "why someone would f@@@ing order every GD thing on the menu" as she was slinging my drinks to the other girl. As the girl gave me my change I asked for a drink carrier because I had 4 drinks and it was only me and my little girl in the car. The rude woman screams at the girl and said "you should have f@@@en told her we didn't have any!!" . Then I was told to park and had to wait 30min for my order. When I finally get it another lady that was obviously pissed off too, gave me my food and walked away mumbling! Do these people not understand that if people don't come and order there food they can't get paid. I will never take my kids to this restaurant again. My daughter herd every nasty word that came from this place. I understand I had a big order but I also have a large family. The worst experience I've had my whole entire life. Went in to get the 5 for 5, the place was so dirty that the if they had a health inspector come in he wouldn't have to go pass the counter. Literally had shoe prints on the walls. Took her about 7 minutes to take my order or acknowledge me. The place is small you can see the kitchen, the staff was carelessly grabbing not just the bread with their bare hands but the meat as well. She gave me my bag I looked at the so called food, the fries were old and brown, the burger is indescribable for me it was grey-greenish color basically not edible to me. Threw the whole bag in the trash the only thing I could eat was the sundae which was decent. I don't know how you're still open. read more

My nephew has worked there for two years an worked for 30 days straight .his boss Danny to him to turn the lights off if there was only 3or less of them working because they could not handle the whole store.so my nephew done what he was told .then he get a text from them fiering him and told him to bring his keys back and when he took them back the boss whould not come out he sent another employee to get the key.so pretty much Danny was telling these kids to do something an when his boss came down on him he threw my nephew under the bus instead of being a man an stand for what he done. read more

If it was possible to give a food service establishment negative stars on here, this would be the place. Seriously, I've never put a review on here...this is the first review I've done ever. I wish I could give zero stars because I would!! This place is TERRIBLE and the woman at the window was the most unprofessional unfriendly and trashy looking customer service fast food person I've ever seen! I ordered our food at 9:18 and was asked to "pull forward" to wait for my order. I guess I should've had a clue that this was not going to end well when I saw how lackadaisical the employee taking my order was...and when I saw a car waiting ahead of me. Ten minutes later...Ms Personality came out with the waiting cars order. Then 15 minutes later I'd had enough. I had to beat on their window to get them to let me in because evidently they lock their doors st 9 pm..I told them no one should have to wait 30 minutes for 8 Krystal's and told them to refund my money. Evidently this not so swift guy was the manager and he mumbled something about having to "set up the grill for the burgers and it takes a while". I took my money and left without comment but I was thinking...REALLY??? For YOU maybe but not for most other Krystal's I've ordered from! LISTEN UP CORPORATE!! ITS TIME TO FIRE AND REHIRE!!
