They made us pull ahead and wait for half an hour for a sackful of cheese Krystal's. The food was lukewarm at best when they brought it out and the burgers still had onion (we ordered without). Valerie was very rude from the beginning of ordering thru the very end. Felt like we were bothering her sling her to do her job not the first smile or even hint of one or half friendly tone to her voice. Food was legit ice cold and fries half done. Did not want to even give one stars. I've ate at this restaurant for years decades even sad to have this experience. As we moved and was really looking forward to coming back only to not be able to eat the $30 meal I purchased and treated like crap. The Krystal site for comments is down and the link it gives to email says doesn't exist after pressing it lmbo. TERRIBLE WAS THIS TRIP. NOTHING GOOD COULD BE SAID. Nasty inside! Tried to open the door and there was grease film smeared all over it. Large fans on the counter and doorway to the back kitchen blowing in to the kitchen. Ordered Krystal's with no pickle and the accidentally put pickle on it, watched them take it back remove the pickle and give it back to me. News flash Krystal..you can still taste pickle juice!!!!!. It said they were open 24hrs and when we got there at 3 am after work they said they were closed so we waited in the parking lot until they opened and an employee came outside and told us to leave and when we told he we were waiting till they open to eat he said we don't want your kind here and said to leave before he called the police on us for loitering. read more

The prices are a rip off and not as advertised the 5 for 5 menu is not as advertised on price they claim it will be 5 dollars and tax which should be no higher then 5.40 to 5.45 with tax but they are charging 6.99 for it read more

Food isn't bad but the service is pretty hit or miss. They aren't really open 24/7. I've been hunger at 1AM before and wanted to get some Krystals and over half the time I pull up to the speaker and they say "Sorry, we aren't taking orders now" or the wait will be over 30 minutes with no one else there. I told them I would wait one night and they said they weren't serving anyone else for the rest of the night and started laughing. Been to the Athens, AL Krystals several times...with mixed results. Love the burgers, but the service is average to horrible. Drive through employees are generally not amiable. Normally go after a work out for a quick snack. A few weeks ago I went and ordered my usual 4 burgers, no meal. Was half way home when I realized that I only had 3 in the bag. Two days later, when I went again, I told the young lady about it and she barely acknowledged that I was there. No replacement burger in my bag that day. Today I went again and made my usual order. When I got to the window, the young lady was engaged with someone who looked like the manager (she was holding the cash box). They both saw me at the window, but made no attempt to acknowledge that I was there or process my order. I sat for several minutes with my cash in my hand and the young lady would not even open the window for payment. I said to myself that I was going to give her another 60 seconds and then I was going to drive off. She never did open the window, so I drove off. This is totally unsat. Not happy. Don't want to drive 15 miles for a Krystal burger. Never had anything like these experiences at any other Krystals...anywhere. read more

Recently when I order chili cheese fries the cheese has been cold and not melted and when I explain to them the problem I'm in the wrong and it's supposed to look like that. I don't know if they have gotten new employees but the customer service is terrible and I will not go back. The past 3 times i've went there the cheese has been cold. Ridiculous. Went to krystals for the first time in awhile. Ordered 10 Krystal chicks, 2 chili cheese fries and two large cokes. Got home and started setting the table with the food, first thing was I only got 8 of my 10 chicks, thought ok it was a mistake, took a bit of the chicks and everyone of them were missing a pickle, I asked for extra mayo on all of them, but no extra mayo was put on them, the worst was all of the buns were hard like they had been sitting for awhile. I will never recommend this place to anyone, and pretty sure I won't go back. That was the worst waste of $29.00 I have ever spent. Save y'all's money it really is worth it. read more

We wouldn't even stay to eat. A trash can was sitting in the middle of the walkway as you entered the door. Trash was on the floor all around it. We stopped in the bathroom and it was filthy. One stall didn't even have a door but it was the cleaner of the two. We just went straight back to the car. read more

They called me and when I got home 7 hours away they went out of their way to ship my wallet to me that also held my medicine. After a flight cancellation, multiple delays and arriving past midnight the only thing close that was open on the way home was Krystal. My order was not correct and I didn't get a fork for my chili cheese fries. I wasn't driving but still could not eat those messy fries with no fork. I hadn't had anything to eat all day and then to be tortured by food I was unable to eat really pissed me off. How hard is your job that you cannot get orders correct and include the necessary utensils?! They were not even busy! This is unacceptable, but what can you expect from fast food workers. read more
