We just got take out at Wendy's in Athens, AL. Pathetic. It was uneatable to me. I remember Wendy's when they first opened their franchise. Dave (the creator of Wendy's would be appalled! If you don't know, it's a far cry of what it used to look like and taste like. The French fries have been changed to these crunchy things with zero taste. I used to love Wendy's when Dave Thomas was alive and controlled it. Now I don't know what they are trying to achieve, because it's NOT good food. We will never be back to this Wendy's ever! Small mix up on the salads it's understandable when staff is short, people don't want to come in on the weekends but they want to $ in their pockets. I know all about jobs and working. But that manager she flipped it into gear she fixed everything and made everything OK God bless her. Someone called off for tonight's shift. This is for You - you wear a name tag to work, can you stand behind your name not just behind Wendy's. And if you're on the schedule to work go to work if you don't like weekends then work every day of your shift and just maybe you'll get a weekend off. I stand behind my name by giving it 100%. Sadly we did not have a great experience here. We were traveling to Nashville and stopped about 9:30 to eat. We got our food in good time. The Fry's were awesome but the chili was cold and the chicken and bacon on my sandwich was burnt and hard and tasted like grease. I took it back and they gave me a new one. It was worse than the first. The bathroom was dirty and it smelled bad in the restaurant. The girl who waited us was very nice. read more

Shout out to the awesome staff at this Wendy's! My family and I were traveling through and there was a particularly complicated and somewhat rude customer in front of us. The staff dealt with the individual with courtesy & professionalism. The customer finally got his food, sat down and ate, then left all his junk on the table and returned to the register area. One can only imagine why. As soon as he left a staff member came out and cleaned the mess he left. My family and I received our order promptly and to our satisfaction. The dining area & restroom were clean. The staff were wearing masks and were diligent about cleaning tables behind customers. I hope the staff from today see this review so that they know that their effort was appreciated. Not all customers are jerks and it was a relief to know that our random travel stop was at a place that was clean, prompt, & professional. read more

I don't know what's going on with this Wendy's but if I wait 20+ minutes for food I expect to receive my order fresh and correct. I received spicy nuggets instead of regular(yuck). Please for the love of everyone find out why your restaurant smells horrible. Stopped here while traveling and was very impressed! Wasn't super busy, but they still got me through the drive-thru very quickly. All employees were friendly and welcoming, it took me off guard a little (in a good way). The gal in the payment window around 3 today was a sweetheart!! I went to this Wendy's tonight craving some sweet and sour sauce so I ordered my meal and I asked four EXTRA sweet and sour sauce. I'm super tired so I just go straight home and as soon as I sit down to eat I open the bag and see the sauce at the bottom I realized they only gave me ONE sauce. The food was really good but I was pretty up with the fact that I specifically asked for extra sauce and only got one. read more

Do not stop/eat at this Wendy's. We stopped here as we passed through town at 7:30-8pm. The employees could have cared less about doing their job. Took about 15 mins for the entire drive thru process. And I'm pretty positive that the cheeseburger kids meal made my son sick the next day. Disgusting place. Smells horrible every time I've been there. Like something has gone bad. It's so strong that you can smell it in the parking lot at times. The customer service is almost as awful as the smell. I've had the drive-thru window slammed in my face on more than one occasion for simply asking for ranch dipping sauce. I've gotten lip from the employees for asking for the straws/napkins/condiments they forgot to include. They get something wrong every time. I've contacted food poisoning from my last visit, and I regret going for the convenience and not putting in more thought beforehand. I have never been somewhere as consistently horrible. They either need to be shut down or Wendy needs to #gtfo Twitter and fix this. read more

Food and service is always great! We eat here quite often! Love the salads and bacon cheese fries! The kids meal always come with nice educational children's building activity toys that help their minds think. I like that instead of junk. read more

This Wendy's sucks hot ass. I was traveling from golf shores to Indiana and we stopped by to eat. They didn't give us one of our chicken nugget boxes, gave us the wrong hamburger, there was gunk in one of our drinks, and didn't give us any dipping sauce even though we asked for honey mustard. They're service was terrible and the drive through cashier was very rude. I will not be going there again. read more
