Informed that i should be here this morning at 7:15 so that i could be the first car they worked on. I was here by 7:10, before some of the employees even got here. At least six cars have came in after me. They have completed the work on all of those cars and all I need is for my tires to be balanced. They've tried to up-sell me tires, even told me that my lugs needed to be "hammered" off. The best part is when an employee called me STUPID for asking what was going on, why is it taking so long, and why all of the vehicles that got here after I did are gone. I've asked for the number to corporate several times. (At least 10) It was just given to me after I believe it is the manager tried to explain that they need to use a different socket to get the lugs off. I kept asking where did the hammer come in at and if they had the socket, what's the problem. I keep getting the run around while they keep pulling other cars in and pulling them out. We have purchased these tires from Discount. (not this location) We've purchased ALL of the tires on all of our vehicles from Discount Tire. I've never been treated like this, felt like this or seen this happen before in my life. I am truly amazed, hurt and shocked. I know I'm in the south, but WOW! DISCOUNT TIRE BOSSIER CITY LOUISIANA, you've disrespected a loyal customer with this one. Did I mention that EVERY customer that they have put in front of me are of a different color than I am.

When I picked it up, the brakes were worse than before--there was a loud metal grinding noise, the brake response felt unsafe, and the steering was suddenly off. None of these issues existed prior to the visit, and notably, Mavis made no mention of any other problems when they returned the car to me. I brought it back and was told--by the receptionist, not a mechanic--that the issue was my lower control arm. This was never mentioned during the original visit. When I asked for clarification or to speak with a manager, the receptionist became rude and refused to connect me with anyone else. I took the car to a trusted local garage, where they diagnosed the control arm issue and had to completely redo the brake job that Mavis had botched. I ended up paying twice--once for Mavis to make things worse, and again to get it fixed correctly. Despite all this, Mavis is refusing to fully refund me. They keep pointing to their "lifetime warranty" on the brake pads and rotors--as if I would ever trust them with my vehicle again. And if you get to the point of dealing with the regional manager, Don Harrison (737-389-6979), don't expect much. He either dodges your calls or talks down to you--especially if you're a woman. I was without a car for nearly two weeks, spent double what I should have, and was treated with complete disregard. Take your business anywhere else.

Well around 240 I get a call it's ready for me to pick it up. I get to it the place and supposedly all mechanics are gone for the day. I ask the guy that put my information in he must of didn't deliver the message that I just purchased those tires and he tells me he did ( i see it on the paper) he's not sure why they would call and tell me that. I did 8.30am Monday morning I was there. They put my truck on the lift and took the tires off within 30 mins. Then that is where it sat for 3 hours without anyone finishing anything. Finally around lunch someone decided to work on my truck. My rims are very damaged because they didn't know the tires come off the from the back. It was finally done alittle after 2.30pm This was a vacation day for me so I was not real happy about my day being wasted. I paid and left not real happy. Then I get home and I look at the tires that they put on my truck. I see that they installed the wrong tire. These were not even the same brand. So I called them and I get oh sorry about that. I took it back Tuesday. The same thing happened Tuesday. Vacation day wasted truck sat there for 3 hours with no tires and no one working on it. Just sitting on the lift. I got out of there after 2.30. On the way home I feel a vibration coming from the back passenger tire. After spending 2 full days of my vacation already there. I could not spend a third and it being the day before Thanksgiving. I waited until Monday dec2 to go back. They took the tire off and found that they mistakenly left valve stems and something else in my tire. The reason was it was from the balance beads. Sorry I call bullshit They used the same beads in the first set of tires and they were balanced. The owner never apologized to me or offered any refund for me spending 2.5 days up there. The alignment itself was completed properly, and the first technician did his job well. However, after my car had already been removed from the garage and the technician went to lunch, things became uncomfortable and concerning. I was then asked if I wanted a tire rotation for an additional $10, even though I had already said "if needed." I agreed, trusting their judgment. At that point, only two employees were present--one at the desk and one in the shop. My vehicle was brought back into the garage. While I was watching through the courtesy window, a technician raised a large toolbox lid directly in front of my face, completely blocking my view, and never returned to that toolbox. I found this behavior rude and unnecessary. When I mentioned it to the desk associate, my concern was dismissed. Afterward, while paying, I was told my hub bearings were failing and was handed a quote for over $1,000, with pressure to have it done immediately. Given the timing, lack of transparency, and unprofessional behavior after my original service was already completed, the situation felt fishy and left me uncomfortable and distrustful.
