RACIST! When i say RACIST, I mean every letter! I stopped by Discount Tire Bossier City on yesterday. Informed that i should be here this morning at 7:15 so that i could be the first car they worked on. I was here by 7:10, before some of the employees even got here. At least six cars have came in after me. They have completed the work on all of those cars and all I need is for my tires to be balanced. They've tried to up-sell me tires, even told me that my lugs needed to be "hammered" off. The best part is when an employee called me STUPID for asking what was going on, why is it taking so long, and why all of the vehicles that got here after I did are gone. I've asked for the number to corporate several times. (At least 10) It was just given to me after I believe it is the manager tried to explain that they need to use a different socket to get the lugs off. I kept asking where did the hammer come in at and if they had the socket, what's the problem. I keep getting the run around while they keep pulling other cars in and pulling them out. We have purchased these tires from Discount. (not this location) We've purchased ALL of the tires on all of our vehicles from Discount Tire. I've never been treated like this, felt like this or seen this happen before in my life. I am truly amazed, hurt and shocked. I know I'm in the south, but WOW! DISCOUNT TIRE BOSSIER CITY LOUISIANA, you've disrespected a loyal customer with this one. Did I mention that EVERY customer that they have put in front of me are of a different color than I am. read more

From a previous visit, they had to order tires for my QX60 and my Jeep Wrangler. We agreed to a time for installation, both vehicles on the same day. Staff was very accommodating, friendly and professional. I ordered top of the line tires, Michelin Defender for the Q and BF Goodrich T/A K02 for the Jeep. GREAT tires. They provided exactly what I expected at a decent price. I am VERY PLEASED with my experience with this store. I learned about Discount Tires when I had a serious problem in Amarillo, TX. Both places were honest and had outstanding customer service. I highly recommend this fine business. read more

I had an appointment at 10:30 am. I am out of town but had my 91 yr old father run it by for me. When he ckd in I received this text: "Your estimated completion time: 12:33 PM Arrival window: 11:38 AM - 11:58 AM" I called Matthew said they were running behind and I should be thankful they could do it by then. I said it was unacceptable why didn't they send this notice before we showed up. He talked over me and was very unprofessional. I told dad to leave and I would handle when I got back in town. Matthew told dad he would still do it by 12:30 if "I" would apologize. He should apologize needless to say we won't be back. read more

I had an awful experience. I felt I was taken advantage of because I am naive about tires. customer service was doing anything to not cover my warranty and I ended up having to pay for a new tire. I was trying to better understand and was given the run around. this experience was horrible! read more

While their prices are good their service is not. Came in last night for a tire losing air. 1.5 hour wait at best. Came back in this morning. Again 1.5 hour wait at best. What they advertise and what they deliver are two different things. They are not staffed adequately to keep their promises. read more

I went to these guys a few weeks ago for a very low tire because I had faith that they would do an awesome job like they did in the past. Boy, do I regret that. I had to wait for three hours, which I patiently dealt with. One technician said they patched up the tire for free, and I was ecstatic. Well, the other day, the tire pressure was low again. I took my car to a competitor who bluntly stated the technician at Discount Tires apparently didn't know what he was doing and was in a hurry to leave for the day. He didn't fix the problem, and the tire is in even worse condition. The entire tire has to be replaced, and now I have to schedule more time to get it fixed. Don't use these people. You pay for what you get. read more

Ordered 5 BFG All-Terrain KO2 online through Tire Rack. While checking out I saw Discount Tire Bossier City as the top recommended installer and it also gave me the option to have them shipped there. My order shipped in separate orders four tires in one shipment and one tire in the other. All tires showed delivered and signed for by Discount Tire Bossier City. So, I made an appointment online a few days ahead of time. I drove an hour and a half one way and arrived a few minutes before my appointment. Dylan informed me that they only had one of my tires and they never received the other 4 even though UPS shows they delivered and signed for. Dylan didn't seem interested in helping me and basically told me there was nothing they could do, so I left. Thankfully Tire Rack is taking care of the issue and having my tires reordered and shipped to a different location. The customer service I received from DT Bossier City was very disappointing. I understand things happen, but the situation was handled poorly by this location. read more

I am so pleased that Discount Tire is now in Shreveport and Bossier. They are always so professional to deal with. Making an appointment online ahead of time is a great idea. It will get you in and out very quickly. I have been buying tires from Discount Tire in other cities for over a decade and have yet to have a bad experience. They recently took the time to drive my car and then referred me to Moseley's Wheel Alignment for a wheel bearing problem. I appreciate their willingness to help, even though it was not a tire issue. read more

Ordered my Cooper tires and they had to get them shipped from Dallas no problem, I wanted that exact type tire. Paid them, gave them the keys, and went over to get a bite to eat at Taco Bell. They had them on before I could finish my lunch! What are they doing, training for NASCAR??? No BS, no upsales, no problems. Just good down-to-earth geterdone service. We stopped in to get a tire checked as we passed through Bossier City today. The tire had a nail in the center and the front desk guy, Richard, assured me it could fixed. However, upon inspection the tire couldn't be patched due to the tread depth in the center of the tire. This particular tire size is a special order item and was not readily available for a day or so. I asked them to please just patch it, so that I could at least get to a local BMW dealership for a replacement. The guy said he couldn't, so I reiterated that I was passing through and couldn't wait days for a tire that they didn't stock. The worker got an attitude, and the conversation got heated and Richard, the front desk guy even got mouthy and cursed, so I left agitated and am hoping I can get to a dealership without any problems. I am a very loyal customer that owns a trucking company with several trucks that my local Discount Tire dealer provides tires for, but will definitely be going back to my previous locally owned tire store. read more

Stopped in to have a tire patched and ended up purchasing a set of Michelin's for a Camry. Good prices, competent staff and prompt turn around. 3 days later I needed a valve stem replaced on a BMW. The stem alone from BMW was $23, brand "G" tire store did not carry the stem and could only install a $100 stem & sensor. Discount installed a new stem and force balanced the tire for under $30. I like these folks. read more
