Good coffee but super rude barista...we took coffee to go and while waiting, we sat on the chais next to the door while the coffee is being prepared. She came and in a super rude voice said that we weren't allowed to sit if we have a to go order, even though it was obvious that we were just waiting. I regret having tipped her. People like this should be banned from working in hospitality services...they ruin the reputation of the place... such a shame. I am not coming back to this place again. read more

We decided to stop at Spektor Coffee Roasters in Glens Falls for breakfast, our first visit. Wow!!! It was a great experience. The staff was great as was the food and coffee. We had the corned beef hash and avocado smash. The corned beef was actually shaved and the potatoes where soft pillows of goodness, the eggs were perfect as was the delicious rye toast. The avocado smash was also great with crispy prosciutto, poached eggs and fresh avocado on French bread. We will definitely be back. read more

If no stars was an option that's what they deserve. We saw they had good reviews so we gave it a shot, all we did was move a table close to us and a woman with short hair slim, who worked behind the counter said to us you cannot move the table to your liking here leave everything the way it is. She yelled with a tone in front of everyone in the shop very rudely. If she would of walked towards us and told us privately in a nicer way we would of stayed but we walked right out. Extremely rude with an attitude. The place didn't seem very welcoming either, you just feel that negative vibe once you walk in especially from the workers. If you want someone to give you an attitude, yell, make a scene and give you dirty looks than come here. The business owner should re-evaluate his workers and if she's the owner than it's sad, she don't deserve any business. read more

I recently stopped in with my mom & dad and we all had amazingly made coffee beverages. I had a latte with almond milk, it was perfect for a cold day! I also had the avocado eggs Benedict, I forgot the name, however, without prosciutto. I do not eat pork. It was fantastic! I loved the kick of lime! We went here on Christmas Eve morning - I checked Yelp and found this spot. There were a few reviews about it (good & bad)an they were all spot on! The place is really cute inside. The coffee/latte, etc choices are fabulous and the customer service is lackluster. The customers themselves all seemed fun and interesting - a little chatter amongst strangers is always fun. My meal was creative and delicious! Seriously, my only complaint is the staff act as though they are too cool to smile. Although I'm not from the area, while visiting family at Lake George, my boyfriend and I stumbled upon this gem. For the espresso drinks alone, I would have given Spektor five stars, but I also ordered a small egg bruschetta dish, which wasn't spectacular, so four stars it is. The bread was good, but could have been more crunchy. What really impressed me, was their amazing beverages. I got a caramel latte and instantly I was transported back to Paris, France. We just started going here for breakfast/lunch consistently. Really good fresh quality ingredients. The maple sriracha sandwich is my favorite. The maple sriracha bacon is on the sandwich is deadly. A few more years and another update. Hey, any business that's made it this long deserves another look! So the good news is that staff has been updated/upgraded/renewed to receive customers positively! Gotta start there. Food is served without fanfare, diner style. Fairly priced and tastes good. I like that the menu selections are pretty utilitarian, not overblown. This place started out as a specialty coffee place that roasts their own in house. It's morphed from that cause let's face it, Glens Falls doesn't have much of a demand for anything too good coffee wise. But the "hand crafted pour over cup" remains on the menu. Unfortunately, it is now done by machine and the attention to detail has been abandoned. A basic detail like a pre-rinsed filter is not part of the process and the machine takes away the "hand crafting" so you don't really get what you pay for (pour over coffee can be twice as much as "drip"). That's too bad, but if you're offering this, I'd wish that it was done with the care and purpose it deserves. Otherwise, why bother? read more

We found this place and to make a long story short, we're here for breakfast every day of our trip. It's a great place with a cool vibe, very friendly staff, and really nice prices on delicious food. You can get a full breakfast for under $8 (eggs, parties, meat and today--NOT small!) plus they make their own bagels, have delicious Greek yogurt with homemade granola and berries--and a great cup of coffee. We fill out thermos before we leave for just a dollar and then we have coffee the rest of the day without having to shell out bucks for subpar joe. GO--you won't regret it! read more

Well, you have to order at a counter before sitting down, and it takes a little while. I sat at a seat positioned near a door... People apparently use that door and my chair kept getting pushed, there was a hair of some sort in my eggs, but it really did taste quite good. Four stars because the coffee is excellent. All of the flavors/syrups for the lattes are made in-house, nothing artificial. I got an almond milk maple latte, sweetened with all natural maple syrup. It was perfectly sweet and silky smooth, the almond milk frothed to perfection. They sell Kru coffee by the pound, which my friend picked up a bag of because it was so good. My food order is where I had a little issue. I saw "avocado smash" on the menu, an avocado mixture with onion, lime and cilantro. That particular item on the menu also came with prosciutto and eggs. I simply asked for a bagel with the avocado smash and the barista was quite puzzled by this. She didn't understand that I just wanted the avocado smash on a bagel. (I cannot eat meat or eggs or dairy due to dietary restrictions). I ended up settling and just got a bagel with sliced avocado, tomatoes, and onions. The bagel itself was great. Really surprised me as I'm from Long Island, and was not expecting a large, fluffy bagel upstate. However, they only put 3 tiny slices of avocado on it. How am I supposed to cover this bagel with just 3 tiny pieces!? So I paid $1.30 to get an extra 5 (small) slices of avocado so I could better enjoy the bagel. I had no problem paying, but I do think they should have been more generous in the first place. It was your basic bagel with avocado. Nothing special, but worked fine for me and my vegan needs. I will say I do love the ambiance of this place. Dim lighting, ample seating, relaxing music, and fun decor. I could definitely see myself coming here to do work, read, or just chill out with a friend or a date. read more

I have had the chai with almond milk, the 10 grain oats and the smoothie so far. I eat vegan and the oats are like crazy good and filling! Better than anywhere I've eaten oats. The let me mix two flavors- the berry & maple instead of having cream or butter. The chai is not overly sweet and the service is pretty nice. Kind of hipsteresque atmo. Second time in. Great service. Really consistently good coffee. The first time I was here I was on my way to Schenectady and spilled half my cup. I was so mad at myself. I didn't even care that I got coffee all over myself. I was pissed because it was so good and I wasted half of it. Maybe it's because I'm old but I was as upset about spilling this coffee as I used to get when I spilled a beer in my 20's! Also, really attractive space.
