Instead of replacing all the windows around the house like all the window selling people are telling us, Rob offered to fix the windows for a much better pricing. We are so happy with the result we asked them to remodel our three bathrooms. Again, their quote was better than the other 8 companies we compared with. Their timing and flexibility was better as well! Throughout the process of bathroom remodeling, they were extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. From picking tiles and helping us with the pickup (usually pretty expensive), to going out of their ways to seal cracks for us on the wall and hanging paintings for my mom. They even offered to walk my dog when they were working with us. They are excellent at what they do. See images for the before and after of the bathrooms. We love our 3 bathrooms now. They were able to accommodate everything we asked them too. Including changing old electric outlets, adding a shower in the guest bathroom, and switching the vent to a heated vent. They even helped to fix my kitchen sink that a plumber failed after trying for 3 days! They are also honest people. I did notice a cracked window and Rob immediately ordered a new one and covered the cost. So they do honor their warranty on their work. Overall, would highly recommend them for their excellent work, very fair pricing, and being such good nature people!

Wallside had records that a previous owner had replaced all the windows in our house in 2005 and THEY WERE STILL UNDER WARRANTY! 35 year warranty! I was transferred to the warranty dept and scheduled an inspection date only 3 weeks later. After inspection, they ordered 11 window panes, 2 new window casings and some misc. hardware. A few weeks later, Steve came out and replaced everything in less than 2 hours. Steve was awesome!! I can't believe how much nicer our home looks without the broken window seals & being able to see clearly through the new glass. Any future windows we need for this home or homes in the future will be done by Wallside. I can't say enough about how thrilled we are with this company!! The whole thing cost us $0 !!!

It's not the direction in which we pass to see it. The windows were installed in October while my father-in-law was in Hospice. Admittedly, it was not our biggest priority to scrutinize the craftsmanship and quality of the install. In March, I discovered exposed wood, unprimed, I was not aware they installed. I looked at the install directions and it clearly says primed. I called and they were able to send somebody out April 9. The person they sent out, said he would note the problems, including one of the boards that clearly also should have been replaced and I would hear from someone within two at the latest three weeks. Today is May 7, and I had not heard from anyone from Wallside. I called and spoke with a customer representative who pulled up the order and said let me speak to a supervisor. She came back and indicated the primed was referencing the interior boards and not the exterior boards and the only place those if necessary. They were clearly in need of replacement when the order was placed. I noted if that were the case, at minimum, they should have noted they had to replace the boards on the outside and that they were not primed so we could've had someone address the matter before leaving the wood exposed the entire winter season. Her response was the sales person should have gone over this. She noted he wrote in one the contract the stops on the inside are primed, but may not match the existing interior, if available. There is nothing I can find specifically in the contract addressing the exterior boards. A reasonable person would assume a window company replacing windows would replace rotted around the window as it part of the structure integrity of the window and sill. The demeanor of the company representative was dismissive and defensive. The first time I called, I was told the supervisor was in a meeting and that they would have to get back to me. They did not, and I called the second time before they sent someone else to make the assessment. I would highly recommend that you consider looking at other companies before using Wallside Windows.

Drives my wife crazy. I literally do construction inspection for a living. I spent 2 months doing research and picking a roofer, I educated myself on all the different products: GAF versus CertainTeed versus Owens Corning... drip edge, starter strips, ice and water shield, underlayment, different types of shingles, ridge caps / vents, can vents, talked a lot about ventilation! I ended up cold calling 8 places to get 6 quotes, 4 of which were all great. I could have went with any of the 4. Made an excel spreadsheet... But C.H.I. just stood apart. Excellent customer service, and Jim took care of us every step of the way. From the moment we met Jim, we could tell he was our guy. Very nice, not pushy at all. Jim quickly responded to any questions I had from my "research" phase, answering all my questions about the different products, all the way through "roof install day". I called him when I had a question the morning my roof was being installed. He answered right away and gave a great answer to my question. Chris the Foreman was great, too. As the roof was being installed, Chris answered all my questions and forwarded my messages to his workers and, another thing that set them apart was that they didn't follow the exact same "design" of my roof from the 1990's: Chris and his crew went above and beyond to add a few vents and things to do it the right way, because he (in his expertise) thought it looked better and would be better if the roof was installed "that" way instead of the original way from 30 years ago. I totally agreed, glad they decided to add a few things to my roof. Customer Service was top-notch! I learned when it comes to roofing, you'll read different things about the material companies. Some people swear by GAF, some people swear by CertainTeed. The material is what it is - it's the INSTALLATION that counts. If the roof SYSTEM is not installed correctly, that's when you'll have problems, regardless of material. In the end, that's why we picked C.H.I. - someone we can TRUST to do it right. I've always heard "time, money, quality: pick 2". This is my first time doing a project on the house where I honestly believe a contractor gave me all three: quick responses, quick installation (time), VERY high quality products and installation all the way through, and a VERY good price. C.H.I. gave me time, money, AND quality. Take it from me - an engineer who dug deep into way too much unnecessary detail. Renewal by Andersen was a great experience overall. Yes, the prices can be a bit on the high side,…read morebut you're getting quality service and quality materials, so it's absolutely worth it. After horrific struggles with Home Depot and Lowe's with multiple failed orders for two entry doors, we switched to Renewal to give them a try. Calling to schedule a consultation appointment was very simple. Within the next week, our Design Consultant Gerard came over and we had a lengthy discussion about our options for both doors and the process it'll take to accomplish the task. Like I said earlier, it costs a good amount of money, but with the current state of steel door backlogs and incompetence of "chain" stores, we just wanted this done. A couple weeks later we had the official measuring tech, Thomas, out to measure the exact dimensions of what we needed, as well as other accessories. A couple months went by while the door was being constructed (yes, sadly Renewal by Andersen cannot escape supply chain difficulties either), but that was okay because we had a good feeling that they'd be correct this time. We were patiently anticipating the outcome of this journey. We received our call of when the installation would be and had our fingers crossed that everything was correct. A man arrived to install both door, which was quite impressive that he was going to do both, all the side work required, as well as removal of the old doors. First thing was first, that I went out and made sure the doors would fit where they were supposed to go and luckily, they were perfect fits! He went through and installed both doors in a few hours, just before the storm hit! We were very impressed with the results (pictures attached) and it was well worth the wait. Bottom line, Renewal By Andersen is more expensive, but their quality, handling of service, and product selection is top of the line, so it's incredibly worth it! Each person through the process was incredibly friendly and the loan company that we were working with after to pay off our work, GreekSky, was simple and easy to use/navigate as well.

We didn't want to go any further with them because I didn't see what I was looking for on the website. A few days later I have 11 voicemails from people at Renewal by Anderson. Frustrated I answer one and I'm connected with Isaac. I told him that it was already determined that they don't have what we want and to please stop calling. He asks what we were looking for and I tell him. He says "oh of course we have that!". At this time I'm seriously doubting him, but whatever. Scheduled a contractor to come out and take a look. Contractor gets to our house. He's friendly, knowledgeable but doesn't agree with what I want. He wants to put a $10k door and sidelight where I have a french door planned. Long story short, they dont have what I was looking for, they're pushy and don't take. I for an answer.
