My parents love this Kroger! They actually drive a little farther just to have a better shopping experience. I agree the store is huge lots of selections fresh produce clean store. The only thing is there wasn't a lot of lines open and it wasn't a holiday so I just expected more staff, but things still moved along pretty quick. My cash register and bagger were super cool carry on a conversation. But the best part was Garvan who is at the front when you enter giving out samples. He was totally jamming with music and having a good time with everyone that came by to visit him. I hope he gets paid well because it didn't seem like Kroger's would be the same without him. So if you go on a weekend, go see Garvin and try out some samples and jam to some good music. read more

This Kroger is down far one of the worst and best because when I walk in there because I walk to school I go there everyday for a energy drink the manager lady always accuses me of stealing even though she watches me buy stuff everyday and me and my friend were their one time and a old lady employee took her phone out and took pictures of us. Kroger's has placed some great wines on their Last Chance list. The prices are real good, offering a great discount on all types of wines. I have been stocking up on Cabernets, Pinot Grigio s and more. Buying six allows an additional ten percent. It appears each store has a different variety. Don't know how long it's going to last. I plan on driving a bit further from home to see what they have to offer. read more

1. Prices are higher than H‑E‑B. 2. I was at the store this morning at 7:45. There was a woman working the deli, slicing meat. She told me that they weren't open until 8. Refused to serve me. 3. There was a woman at the service desk. I needed something there as well and was also told they don't open until 8. Apparently the store is open and employees are there but will not wait on customers until 8. I fully understand if no one is there or scheduled to start until a specific time. I honestly think every employee in the morning shift wakes up on the wrong side of the bed here. 98% are in a bad mood. I dropped milk at this location once and the lady at that register made sucha mean face. Every time I pass by her, she never smiles or says "good morning". I've been to this location 2 times in the evening and the evening crew is much more pleasant. If it wasn't for them, I would give this location easily a one star. But the afternoon shift saved them. You might be thinking "well why not just grocery shop in the evening then?". See, if I could, I would. Due to work, morning is the only time. The other star is for the variety in this location. This location is a "Marketplace" meaning there's a lot more variety. A lot more. There's a Kroger down the street on 2920- better customer service and it's a homie feeling. read more

This is by far THE best Kroger I have ever stepped foot in. Immediately upon walking in, there is a Fred Meyer jewelry store inside the main entrance. Yes, you read that right a JEWELRY store in a Kroger! This location is large and is literally a one-stop shop. Aside from the jewelry store, there is a section that has clothes, shoes, and accessories perfectly displayed like a department store. The deli and produce section is quite expansive and the quality of the product is comparable to Whole Foods and HEB. There were quite a few checkout lines open, making for a quick check out process. There are fresh pressed juices and a vast array of flowers. I will definitely be making this my Kroger of choice from now on. read more

The meat at Kroger is the worst compared to H-E-B. HEB's worst is 100% better than Krogers Best. Choice us the best grade. Second best is prime. Worst and toughest is select. For meats go to H-E-B. I have been shopping at Kroger on Louetta @ Kuydendahl for a coupe of years now and have always had a good experience. The store itself is clean and has all the necessary selections. Never a problem and the cashiers are friendly as well. Parking is also good and the pharmacy is great as well. They even have a small Starbucks inside the store if I want a drink! read more

I am not a huge Kroger fan but this location is pretty awesome. Like HEB, they also choose to have two locations on the same road down the street from each other but they also delivered on a better experience as well. Unlike the 2920 location, this location sells a lot more organic product and they also have fresh juice as well as a better bulk food section as well. This location is much larger and offer other items as well which include household good and clothing etc. While we don't shop much in those areas, their food selection is excellent and they usually have some great specials going as well. If you live in the area, I would definitely give this location a try. read more

Third time is a charm. I don't normally post but I am sick of it. Three times in a row I have had issues. Try having $275 bucks in prescanned grocers and when checking out at self checkout the clerk voids your check...oops need to rescan everything or stand in that huge line to be checked out. Worst location ever payment didn't go through called the bank there was money on the card there was no hold no nothing Kroger told me to call my bank to make sure and I did and they still wouldn't push it through after they told me if I got verification from the bank that they would push it through. Managers are liars and the customer service Donna was rude and was laughing right in front of my son. I will never shop at a Kroger ever again just because of the treatment and the customer service that Frank and Diane provided today. Update: went back in with cash from the bank and Frank still try to argue with me as to why his system wouldn't except my payment and when I called him out he decided to walk away and he is supposed to be the manager of the facility. The other manager Cody was a palled by Frank's behavior and he apologize profusely the only person who save this transaction was Cody other than that that was it I will still never shop at Kroger but I do think Cody for taking the initiative and apologizing and stepping up to the plate to rectify the situation professionally read more

This is probably the biggest Kroger I've ever been to. They have a huge selection of everything including clothes! The juice man will give you a sample of his freshly pressed orange juice which is so good! They have a large selection of wines from your bottom tier to your higher end brands. I like how they run 20% case sale so be on the look out for that. Overall this is a really nice and clean Kroger. read more

My unsatisfactory review only relates to the Meat & seafood market at the Kuykendahl store. I only give a star because we are required to in order to post a review. I will never order crawfish from this store again. My daughter called 2 days before Easter to reserve a bag of crawfish for our Easter Sunday family crawfish boil. She asked if she had to pick it up early and was told no, she can pick them up any time Sunday. My husband went to pick them up and they had already sold it to someone else!! His is after we've cut up all the vegetables to put in the pot - so there's no plan B. They had no more to buy so my husband had to buy all of the boiled ones they had, which isn't enough for us and it's much more expensive then live ones. So I called Bob, the market manager, and I was lied to: 1. He said they called her at noon to see if we were going to pick them up but there was no answer. I'm telling you - no one called; 2. Then claimed he didn't have her name on the list - so how could he call her? He did later find it but it was written in the wrong place, and 3. He said he had just called all the other Krogers in the area, including the one at 99/Holzworth, and every store was out. So I phoned that store and Jimmy, the market manager, said no one called him today and they had several bags in the store from cancelled orders. When I said to Bob that he needed to do something to make this right he offered a free bag next weekend, but my family will be out of town next weekend. So I asked if he had any shrimp and he said he would give us a couple of bags, which my husband drove back and picked up (only gave us 5 lbs. of shrimp, which still isn't enough to feed all of us). My husband then drove to the Holzworth store to buy their crawfish and Jimmy said in order to make up for our inconvenience he would upgrade us to the premium sized ones and took $20 off the price. That was extremely kind and generous of him! Kudos to Jimmy at the Holzworth store!! read more

I honestly have never been a fan of Kroger. I was driving by and I noticed this one was called "Kroger Marketplace" and it looked high-end. We decided to check it out and were pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was. The amount of options was almost to the point of overwhelming. In fact, it's the opposite of the complaint I normally have of Kroger in general (not enough options). I was also worried that the pricing would be ridiculous, but we did our full grocery run and spent only $120. Not bad! The only odd thing about the store is that they separate their organic/natural foods from the rest of the store so I find myself struggling a little to find everything. It'll just take a little getting used to, but I can definitely see myself shopping here again. Lovely store! read more

This is a very nice Kroger for groceries, which is what one would normally go in for, but I like delis and this one is kind of sad. We had deli food from there a few times when they first opened and it was pretty good--the fried chicken was better than at most Krogers. But the last time I went it was a big disappointment. No BBQ, really nothing on the steam tables except some picked-over baked chicken, green beans, corn and long-suffering mac and cheese. I went ahead and ate some to dull my appetite ahead of shopping. The chicken was edible but the skin was really chewy. The sides were overdone. I went to get a drink from the fountain and found it was not working--no sign to that effect, and it doesn't look like they will make an effort to fix it. This was on a busy Saturday at noon so one would expect a bit better. The staff had to pull stuff from the store and heat it up for their lunch. I'll continue to shop at the store, but don't bother with the deli at all. read more

This Krogers always has a great selection, is larger and cleaner than other Krogers stores, and their pharmacy is very quick. The main reason I shop here instead of the HEB up the road though is "Juice Man" aka Garvin. He is one of the most pleasant, caring, and dedicated individuals I have ever met. He always makes it a point to say hello when I come in, and I have yet to see him without a smile On his face. He points out what is new in the store, and is always so friendly and welcoming. He loves what he does, and is a huge contributor to this store! read more

This was a decent choice for us for groceries and occasionally some department store merchandise. We even drove up here from Willowbrook which is approx. 12 miles. I bought a bad hummus at another Kroger few days ago and today I had to throw away the pecan milk that I just bought this afternoon at this Kroger Marketplace and was looking to drinking. Too much waste of money on spoiled food. It goes bad in the store and they sell it that way. I took pictures of it but there is nowhere to post them and noone to contact about this. Noone cares. Love ClickList!! I used it a week ago and it was super simple. Just do your shopping online and then show up at the specified time and pick your groceries up. From the time I arrived, paid, and had groceries loaded (they load them) it was 5 minutes. I didn't even have to get out of the car! I have lived in the Wimbledon falls community for over 5 years and watched our neighborhood Kroger being built from the ground up. I had never experienced a problem before until recently . I was discriminated against by a cashier by the name Miriam. The only two cash registers that were open had full baskets and there were three people in it in each line. Another Anglo customer and my self had been standing in line and had the idea to go get checked out at the 15 or less register which was empty. We each had maybe 10 items over 15 but not more. When lines are long that's what the managers do as a courtesy and in order to avoid lines from getting longer they ask we move to the 15 items or less line. So we both take it upon ourselves and move to the 15 or less line. The Anglo lady before me gets such wonderful service I've gotten used to since the opening of this location and even gets offered to become a member and get membership rewards and gets explained all that's in store. She leaves and my turn comes up and the first thing out of her mouth is" you can't be in this lane! This is a 15 item or less lane!" I reply" I don't recall you giving that speech to the customer before me, she had just as many items as I do." I ask her to call a manager for me . She then points one out in the far distance and says I can call one up, to which I reply " no , I don't work here, please call some one to the register." She does and all the while while I'm explaining to the manager this cashier is glaring at me and giving me the dirtiest looks. I don't feel the manager did anything to resolve the problem. I never had experienced such rudeness and ever felt so humiliated before. I believe this cashier needs to go back to training . I'm sure customers would prefer to spend their hard earned money elsewhere where they are made to feel that their patronage is appreciated. I have a brand new H E B. less than a mile further just entering the woodlands Creekside. I'll be sure to take my business elsewhere. I am a customer who was wronged by an employee at a Kroger I frequent 3x a week every week at least and spend 100$ every visit or more weekly and am taking my business elsewhere. read more
