It's a holiday sale and we needed sodas and such, Kroger was running a wonderful sale buy 2 get 3 free. They also had their ice cream at a great price 1.99 popsicles and tubs 4.99 each for 2. Pretty meh as far as store selection. Depending on who's there they take forever to put out the seafood display. They're always out of something despite it being the first day of a sale and employees always roaming around stocking. Employees are kind, but the store could be cleaner as a whole. Near the chips and cookies aisle its always so cluttered, hard for two carts to maneuver around each other. My favorite location is on Sabo, but this one is closer to my house. I have been a fan of this kroger since 2005. The other day I decided to go in early morning to get a money order and a bottle of wine. I git a scooter because I have mobility issues, went to get the wine and headed to the service center to pay and along cane Franco the manager and he said to me, " DID YOU PAY FOR THAT"! Proceeded to take my item and walked off saying you can't check over there. You need to come over here. I looked at him and of course I was infuriated. I said, " you could have said that to me in a professional manner"! He acted as if I was going to steal the item and I an extremely offended. I was patronizing this establishment was hos behind was STILL in diapers and he had the NERVE to speak to me in that manner. Kroger has NEVER had disrespectful people working in that store!! And they need to keep it that way. read more

I was overcharged by 20 cents a pounds per package of chicken which was about 25 pounds of chicken. I had to wait in line to get my money back. The lady was very rude. She called a guy not 20 feet from me talking in the phone like I wasn't right: never got a I'm sorry you were overcharged. Only an ugly look. This is the reason I shop at HEB. Not sure what's going on with this location but it's really been going down hill the last few mo the. This is the 4th time I've walked into the store in the last month and there were 0 carts not a single one not even the messed up shell carts where there. The shelf's are running out of products or they do t have any and this is the 4th time I've bagged my own stuff becuse there was no bagger. read more

Entering the store bakery and produce sections are very clean. But down some of the aisles -they needed some work. The customers here are friendly-they speak and hold conversations with you. These people are complete idiots. I made an order last night to pick up this morning. My card was charged completely for this pick up as of this morning. They have lost my order. I am charged, but do not have my order. It takes 3 to 5 business days to Refund my money when it's not even my fault that I am owed this money. They will not honor the sale special pricing for the items which I paid for and they lost. They offered me a poor replacement offer, which is not what I wanted, nor what I paid for. I will not be troubling these people to fulfill my grocery knees any longer. I will just take my business to HEB where I should've gone in the first place anyway since they are so much cheaper on their prices and is the Texas company. read more

I go and visit my daughter mostly at night and on my way home I like to stop at Kroger in the Spencer Square parking lot. But right around 10 pm on the employee's not management start anouncing the store will be closing at ? from 10 pm on every 15 to 20 minutes they announce the store is closing. It gets very irritating. Ity is only getting worse too. That store has the lights out and employees are leaving at 11 pm sharp. I fill rushed somewhat like supermarket sweep. I used to be a store manager not for Kroger but another chain. In fact I have never seen a manager there when I been there. I have asked for a manager but they told me either they left already or not ever available. One night I was really in a bad mood the person at the self check out was the one hollering for everyone to come up to the front the store is closing so I asked this person who looked like he may be in management why thy announce every 15 minutes starting at 10 pm that the store is closing. He said because if they don't the customers will keep shopping and they will never get out of the work. That was his exact words. read more

We visited this Kroger while in the area and on a mission to get snacks for kids. This store is located in a large strip center and has ample yet shared parking. The staff is not as overly friendly as my neighborhood Kroger but everyone has their moments and who really wants to work on a Sunday night. The produce section is clean and offers the typical selection of fruits and veggies. However, there are other areas that need a little TLC like the floral section which was pretty trashed but that may have more to do with the patrons. We wouldn't visit this location regularly because the layout makes it difficult to find items and it's not in an area of town we frequent. read more

I've been coming to this location since they opened, I think it's been around 20 years. I do the shopping for my family, every Monday or Tuesday I am in this location spending between $100 and $200. I drive past an HEB and a different Kroger location to go to this one because I am loyal to this store. I should say I was loyal to this store. Most trips I go in the afternoon, if my work schedule is hectic I have to go after work and that puts me there 11pm - Midnight. Went in tonight after work, filled my basket and headed to the self checkout because that's all that is open. I'm not a fan of scanning and bagging my own groceries but it's how it goes at any store after around 10 pm. Every other time I've gone in after 10pm I have asked the clerk to help me scan my items (because I have many) with their hand held scanner because that makes things go faster, sometimes the clerk will offer to do it before I even ask. Tonight I was the only person checking out and I asked the one clerk working to please help me scan with her hand held device, to make things go faster. She said, "No, that wouldn't be any faster" I said, I am asking you to help me and she said, again "No, that wouldn't be any faster". Next week I'll be spending my money at the HEB that I previously drove by to get to this location. read more

I had a $9.00 return on unopened bottles of sports drinks that I purchased from Kroger the day before, and was informed by 2 sales associates and a manager, that due to the COVID-19 this store was not allowing any returns on purchases. I got sick after drank 1 of the drinks, and when I attempted to return the 9 left I was informed that I could not have my money back. That left me stuck with $9 worth of sports drinks I can't use. I am posting this, because I never saw anything warning me from Kroger when I bought the drinks originally, that I could not return an item. The sale ad said the sports drinks were on sale for 10/$10, so I bought 10 of them thinking what a good deal this was. I was wrong I have tried other sports drinks before in the past and I never had a problem with them making me sick, so I assumed this type of drink wouldn't either. The customer service is not very friendly at the Kroger located at Burke Rd. and Spencer Hwy. When I returned the drinks, all I heard from them was that they were "so sorry but they could accept the return". When I was leaving the customer service counter to exit the store with the drinks, I heard them laughing. I think that was very rude on their part. Be aware before you buy anything from this store. Individuals who shop here need to be aware of what happened to me. read more

Honestly, I only shop here if I'm buying a birthday cake. The bakery is great-they're attentive, polite, and help you as much as they can. Years ago I shopped here exclusively because they doubled and tripled coupons; however, they stopped that money-saving-nonsense. God forbid their customers actually save money when shopping at this overpriced grocery chain. I can buy the same or similar products at HEB or Aldi at a much cheaper price-so I do. But the cakes!!!! This is the Kroger around my place of employment. I went the other day to buy some Sushi, since there are absolutely NO sushi restaurants in the area. I was really craving some rolls but this kroger does not sell those products. Too bad, guess now I really have no reason to visit this Kroger. Well, maybe to buy water. I checked out on Thursday, May 7th with a cashier named Kathy. I observed how patient & wonderful she was with an elderly customer ahead of me who was buying flowers for his wife that was in the hospital. After checking me out, Kathy also said a quick prayer for my Mother because my Dad is currently in the hospital fighting cancer. This small gesture meant the world to us. I know we are all busy in so many different ways but Kathy really takes time to know her customers. Good customer service is rare these days. Kathy provided excellent customer service that night & because of that experience we will continue shopping at this location. I just got back from grocery shopping at my friendly neighborhood Kroger store at Burke Road and Spencer Highway in Pasadena the cashier and bagger did not put my meat back in my cart when they were checking me out I did not notice this till I got home within 15 minutes I called the grocery store to inform them and to see if they had turned it in the meat that is the person I spoke with his name is Maria she pretty much accusing me of being a liar and someone who is trying to take advantage of her Kroger store personally I make $115,000 a year on my salary plus overtime and bonus incentives I have no need to even think about trying to steal our get over on Kroger for a $10 package of hamburger meat what's wrong Pasadena you slipping if I were you I would stay away from the store at all cost because when you call the grocery store that you go into all the time they know your face they know your name and when you call him to not necessarily complain but to inform them and see if the bag of meat was there and they pretty much accuse you on the spot on the telephone of just lying and trying to get to them I don't know y'all were texting so is that the way we are that's not the way I was raised I won't be back in this Kroger ever again I can promise you that hello H-E-B here I come read more

If you want grass-fed animal products, DON'T shop here. I was in here a few months ago looking for my grass-fed ground beef product, and an associate told me that this Kroger no longer carries grass-fed cuts of meat. This was pretty much the only reason that I was stopping in here, because this Kroger's selection is not that great to begin with.. I recommend the HEB in Pasadena. People working here are nice, and you can get your basic stuff here, so two stars for that. read more

Scanned my Kroger card to use reward points at the gas station. Pump would not let me select the gas to pump. Switched pumps then it wouldn't let me use my rewards points and it erased them. Cashier said they won't do anything about it even though their pump was faulty. Ridiculous. read more

This store is perfect for seniors to shop because of the discount but for the average Joe probably not. Prices are quite high and the store has lazy employees and long lines at the customer service, which says something. I'm only here because of work related shopping but that's all. read more

Loading coupons on my card from your website sounded like a great idea, until I actually shopped this way. After returning home to double check my receipt I learned that 7 of my products were over charged and/or the coupons did not load. They showed on my list of coupons and some products rang up correctly once, but not the second time even tho they were allowable. Its impossible to follow your discounts by reviewing the items as they ring up as not all discounts are shown with each item, but some only at the end. I returned with these items to have corrections and difference of $10.87 refunded. The lady in the courtesy booth was very rude, seemed to be unconvienced by my needs and time required. She made it clear that the coupons could not be credited there but were from the card, like that is a separate company. She said I would need to contact them to be issued credit. So I asked if I could just have those items returned and try to go through the check-out again to see if they might work or point out to cashier. Then when another employee arrived to assist she told him "I have tried to explain to her that we cannot issue coupon credits because they are on the card." As if I wasn't standing there listening. I stated that I DID understand this and that was why I wanted refunds on those products so I could try to repurchase. These Kroger Plus cards do not give me anywhere near the rewards I received with double and triple coupons. They are impossible to follow at check out and Only give you the prices you would normally pay at stores without the stupid card. read more
