I can't speak for the inside as this isn't the Kroger closest to us (~3 miles from us) but I have to rate this Kroger 5 stars for our Kroger ClickList experience. If you're unfamiliar with the Kroger Clicklist you pick out your groceries online, pick the date and time you want to pick them up, and they'll bring your groceries to your car for you. From the initial call to us leaving it was maybe 7 minutes total. They have designated parking spaces off to the right of the store for ClickList patrons, and the sign tells you to call the number listed below to let them know you're here. Two employees came out in just a couple of minutes time, one put our groceries in the trunk for us, and the other took our payment. If I recall correctly, he said that if you order something name brand, and you allow for substitutions for that particular product, if the next best thing isn't available and they have to substitute the store brand, they'll give it to you for free. Also, if you order the store brand of something and they're out, they'll substitute the name brand for the store brand price. Pretty sweet! After I got home, I checked the perishables and everything looked great. If you're needing something of a particular ripeness (say bananas or avocados) to have that night or the next day, you might be better off going in the store to pick your ripeness. We did receive green bananas and hard avocados. No big deal though, as I can prepare those meals at a later time when they're ripe. I was pretty impressed and would definitely do it again. Your first visit is free, and after that it's $4.95 each time after. I don't think that's a bad deal if you're busy or just don't want to deal with the grocery. I found that doing it this way kept our budget in check, I could see as we added things to the cart how much it brought the total up to, and it did deter some spending.

Line for pick up growing by the minute!

As much as I appreciate the hard working employees showing up to work during the crisis we are currently experiencing, I really can't appreciate the lack of action by Kroger store management (however high decisions have to be made) in regard to grocery pickup. I placed an order 3 days out for a 7 to 8pm pickup. I was contacted by store personnel at 6pm on that day of pick up, to be advised they're having system issues and I would not be able to pick up order until after 10am the next day. I was really ok with that. 10:15am i arrived to find there was a line the length of the parking lot "waiting" to get a pick up space! so now we are blocking other "in store" customer vechicles and when they come out we have to move to allow them to exit and now we have lost our place in line. How much red tape would have to be cut through for the brightest of the "decision makers" to realize more spaces need to be designated for pick up orders (even if temporarily)?? I tried to do what was best for myself and others by using pick up to reduce exposure during pandemic, but won't use pickup again until the Kroger "decision makers" get a handle on the huge inconvenience of a supposed convenient (safer) service. I canceled my order.

This is where I regularly shop for groceries. Good, clean store with most of what you need. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I literally got up to the front cash registers before it even switched from midnight to 1201 and I was refused to even get anything and I'm just overall really disappointed. Like I understand policy is policy, but there was still someone checking out at the self check out, and both of the workers had logged out of their personal registers before that person was even done checking out. I just feel like that is irresponsible. What if there was an issue with the order and from a company perspective that is just really not customer service friendly. I would understand if I got up to the front after closing, but I literally got up there when I was supposed to and I still was not allowed to check out and I was really excited to get those treats for my cat and my dog because I've been working all day and there's literally nowhere else to go. I usually only go to Meijer for doing orders or because it's the only place open late. That's a full grocery store. It is very pricey. I don't feel like it's as cheap as other grocery stores and now that other stores are open till 11. I will just go there because the way that I felt tonight there wasn't even an apology from any of the workers or anything so I don't want to put any more money in this business.
