I originally popped into this Kroger on a quick mission: Advil. But like most trips to the grocery store, I quickly realized Kroger is the kind of place where you walk in for one thing and somehow imagine yourself leaving with a cart full of snacks, produce, and maybe even a new scented candle you didn't know you needed. This location has pretty much everything you'd expect (and then some): rows upon rows of groceries, fresh produce, bakery items, a deli, and aisles full of temptations that make you think, "Sure, I do need three different types of crackers." It's organized well, clean, and has plenty of variety, which makes it easy to find what you're looking for, or at least easy to find things you weren't looking for. The staff I encountered were friendly, and checkout was smooth, which is always a win in the world of grocery shopping. Prices are competitive, and there are lots of deals if you're a Kroger card holder. Overall, it's not just a store to grab Advil, it's a place you could easily make your regular grocery stop. Next time I'll probably walk out with more than just pain relief. read more

Every time I have ordered ahead, they call to tell me it'll be done much later. Then when I get there, they come out to tell me it's still not done. I usually wait anywhere from an hour to a whole day to get my order. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

First off when should I expect my W-2 forms for checking myself out? Second of all.. I went to Kroger's last week I had about 15 small items.. I went through self checkout.... Every other item I had to get assistance.... Then one of the items didn't ring up the sale price... So I had to wait for assistance... Something that should have took me 5 minutes to ring up and pay for and complete took me 15 to 20 minutes... I have to check out myself deal with the BS of the machine screwing up.... The prices are up at the grocery store... And I have to beg for a coupon on my stupid app.... Doesn't seem right to me... I knew I should have married a farmer! Kroger's suck donkey butt! Next time I might mess up my order on purpose and really annoyed the person standing there overseeing us do all the work... I'll be sure I come early and have plenty of time... Today I just got an order drop off to my house, I didn't order groceries from them. I called them and they just hung up on me. I figured they would have tried to get their customer their groceries. Someone lost over $150, I tried to get it to them. I would recommend never buying from krogers again because they don't care if you get your groceries! read more

Every since they lost Mr. Redman, who was a fantastic manager, that store has gone downhill it's dirty uncapped, and even the personnel that works there don't even look like they care about themselves, or even bother, washing their hands, DELI, MEAT DEPARTMENT IT'S SAD I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE IT A ONE, BUT I HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE. I don't have a complaint with the Kroger on Dorothy lane. I have a complaint about the fried chicken overall. Kroger y'all's fried chicken is not good anymore. This Kroger has the absolute worst pharmacy. My husband had 6 prescriptions called in from the hospital at 11:30 am. Arrived at 2:00 to be told none would be available until after 5:00. Ok so I came back at 6:00. 8 people in line in front of me. 6 turned away without receiving a single prescription. My turn! I was told none were ready and wouldn't be until after 3 the next day. I made my unhappiness known. The pharmacist came out and told me to take my prescriptions to CVS where they don't have anyone working. Still the next day they all weren't ready. The lines are ridiculously long and service is atrocious. Go to a different pharmacy! These people don't care! read more

This Kroger is just fine. It was basically the same as any other I'd been to. I was able to find what I needed and at a good price. And once you've exhausted yourself with shopping, there are plenty of places nearby to grab a bite to eat! read more

I walked up to the pharmacy window yesterday... Four separate employees looked right at me! It was a very chilly day! I didn't bother to ring the buzzer, I mean why would I four employees looked at me and acknowledged that I was there.. or at least saw that I was there. 12 minutes later someone finally approaches me.. and we go through the details of picking up my prescription. Only one of the three were ready.. although when I called the day before they said they were all ready for pickup. I was told by a pharmacy employee one time that Kroger's is notorious for giving away your prescription if someone needs it when they walk in... And when they are short on a medication.. so now I have to go back again. To pick up a prescription that they said would be there already. There's only one or two techs in there that are even remotely pleasant. Having worked at a pharmacy before I understand they're underpaid and understaffed and underappreciated.. so I can kind of understand their attitudes. It's really just sad though. They relatively corner of the market considering CVS and Walgreens are struggling. I've went down a cup size because my tatas froze off waiting... I can't afford this... But hey this is the world we live in now customer service means nothing! read more

This is the Kroger I go to all the time because I live close to it.It's not to big, but it's not too small and I like that.Also, the management was very nice.I have never had a problem with Kroger's management.They always have needy things in stocks, and everything there is very good.I would definitely go back to this Kroger!You should go, too.I couldn't believe shopping was so fun for me. read more

This is a super old and outdated Kroger, they don't offer half of what every other Kroger offers. They even had a technician there when I went trying to fix their automatic doors and the technician said that the doors hadn't been replaced in over 20 years. Get with it and upgrade your store if you want to keep business! I'll drive out of my way to go to another Kroger. read more

Took my friend to the little clinic because they were feeling under the weather. Had an appointment and arrived early. Still had to wait 30 min past the appointment time until they were ready to receive. The receptionist was rude, ignorant, and unapproachable. Not only was the customer service attitude highly lacking, after the appointment, they then sent the medicine to the wrong location. A location which was too far to get the medicine in time for my friend to take. Had to wait an entire day until the medicine could be received because they wasted all the time in the world and then unapologetically messed up. Will never go back to this establishment again due to the consistent and uncalled for errors. read more

I was just In this Kroger and the guy sanitizing the carts was barely covering any of the cart handle. He definitely didnt hit ANY of the underside of the handle even after I asked him to do it again. I'm totally grossed out!!!! You need to put wipes out so we can do it ourselves!!! read more

Called to get a prescription filled and asked if they took my insurance. The pharmacist was rude and said they wouldn't be able to tell me until the prescription had been filled and to call back after they had filled it. When I called back, I asked once again and the second lady I spoke to had no answer on if I'd be covered and proceeded to give me options for if I didn't have insurance (second person was most likely trying to be helpful and was much nicer than the first person I spoke to). However, I explained once again that I did have insurance and was just trying to find out if it was taken there. Turns out it wasn't and I had to go through the process of having it transferred somewhere else. I called Rite Aid and they were able to tell me if I was covered or not BEFORE the prescription was filled and were kinder and more helpful than Kroger. read more

The store is clean and organized. However the pharmacy is not worth your time. I tried to get my sons prescription transferred and they made up every excuse NOT to. Including that I would have to call my insurance? I worked at a pharmacy for three years and I know that that is not how it works in the situation we were in. I called them out on it and they agreed to pull it from the other pharmacy which is literally their job. They just didn't feel like doing anything. At that point i realized I didn't want to have to go there every month for the next couple years. CVS kept my business after all. read more

Only reason I come here is because it's close to my house. The service is poor and it feels like this kroger is forgotten. The Kroger on Stroop is so much better and definitely worth the longer drive. read more

Susan is great-very helpful but she isn't always there. Lines are long- have stood in line up to an hour to pick up a prescription, so tried filling online. It indicated my prescription had 1 refill through 4/15/21. Online said there was a problem with the Rx, call a 415 number. Called the number and the person said there was a problem and transferred me to the Kettering Pharmacy. I could have called them directly, had I known. The person I talked to said the Rx was expired. I said it was listed as good until 4/15. She said "I know but you're trying to fill it too close to the expiration date of the prescription" That makes no sense and I said so. She said they could fax a renewal request and it would take 3-5 business days, then I could call them to see if they had gotten anything from my doctor. I said Never mind, I'll call the doctor myself. This is why I am transferring my Rx's over to WalMart who actually gives GREAT service now (they used to be pretty bad too). I have just kept this script at Kroger's because they were cheaper, but not worth the hassle and all the work they want the customer to do to get their prescriptions. read more

The Starbucks makes the best coffee of all Starbucks in the area. Atmosphere isn't the best but better than before the renovation. It took me six months to get used to the much bigger Marketplace but I grew to like it as long as I can use the deli order station. Dealing with the deli directly can involve an incredibly long wait. The Boar's Head deli meats are a good option Private Selection has the tastier Roast beef. The sushi is very good as well. read more

I used to come here because the location is convenient, though it's "just the basics." Lately, though, it seems like everything is out of stock every time I come so I end up paying a lot more for alternative products. The problem seems to be a lack of staffing for shelving products, which is sad. Kroger Market Places are GREAT!! However, I am particular to this Starbucks (ALWAYS get my drink right and EXTREMELY friendly) and I love the Sushi options...I use to go to this Kroger on my lunches because I worked close. I live about 30 minutes away, but I will still go out of my way just to enjoy the sushi, so good. read more

Pharmacy is disorganized and non commutative. My daughter went to the clinic last night and received scripts. She tried to fill them but didn't realize she didn't have the prescription card. Since they were ready to close she asked if they could just be transferred to her regular pharmacy further away so she would not suffer through the night. They told her they could put in a request but could not guarantee it would be done since it was closing time. We called at open today 8am and were told they could be ready at 2pm! I said this is ridiculous and she said ok they could have it ready by 1030 am. My daughter got there at 12 and it was not filled and no one knew what was going on and then said the ins. had denied it as a refill? They wanted her to come back later because they can be on the phone for awhile trying to figure out why denied. I called the ins. and was told in 2 min that it had been transferred and filled to the other pharmacy but no one at Kroger had any record of this or ever communicated to us it was transferred. She is now driving to other side of town to pick it up with a fever. read more
