I shop at this store quite often about 2-3x a week. I'm giving this Kroger a 3 for the following reasons. Cons 1. Not enough emphasis on checkout. Their employees doing the traditional checkout are usually overwhelmed having to also bag. 2. Produce is often molded at least every visit I'll find something molded. 3. Their yogurt fridge has had mold inside. Reported it and it looked cleaned but not fully removed. Potential hazard to health for those with mold exposure. 4. Bathrooms are disgusting and vile! They ddmell like urine and feces. They appear to not be cleaned on a regular basis. As a matter of fact, they look as though they haven't been cleaned for months! Recently, reported it to their store manager Americas and he said he would address it but he thought they were cleaned daily. He apparently doesn't go in the bathrooms... ever! Pros 1. Always stocked with excellent choices. 2. Meat department I'd say is top quality in keeping up with demand, quality and appearance. 3. Deli department is next up with great employees, quick service and excellent selection. Overall this store appears it needs a good scrub down. But has everything you need. I don't believe we as consumers should accept mediocre quality. This store makes enough money to keep up with cleanliness. So I believe it's a management/employee issue. Do better Kroger! read more

I'm still enjoying shopping at Kroger. The name brands offered are great. This store has a great selection and mostly keeps the ap updated as to stock inventory. I will note that the lady who works in the Starbucks is very rude though. She told me with an attitude that, "we don't do that anymore so you'll have to figure out another way" when I tried to type in my Kroger card number on the pin pad. I was in the middle of pulling up the Kroger ap for her to scan my card when she yelled at me for my number. It was a whole ordeal. When I asked which brew (French roast, Pike roast, etc) was used for iced coffee she said that they don't use any brew, it's just an iced coffee brew. It made no sense to me but because she very obviously didn't want to deal with me I didn't press the question. Anyway, that's all! read more

my experience here on Bailey Boswell rd was very unpleasant and the store manager refused to me help me. Matt, Laura, Lauren and Angie treated me like I was beneath them...They were sit in a group whispering and eating donuts while I was stressing over my money when the system malfunction on me. They refused to help me with my concerns and end up giving me a fake # just for me to leave the counter. I want to shout out Mrs.Donna who actually went beyond her job title to get me the help I need, the correct # and you can see Matt face of disappointment when see did. I just want to make sure she get the appropriate Recognition That she deserves.. (Donna with a cross on her name tag.. ) if you do not believe me please watch the video today. You see the body language and the way Matt handled me and walk off from me. Matt and Laura stated they can not fix anything that goes on with the systems at Kroger and they hands is 100% titles.. Matt and Laura are the face of the company and if they not her to actually help the people, then it make sense why Angie treated me so poorly when I ask for a branch manager or a store manager. Angie did not like the wrong terminology I use when I express I need up management. Honestly, that was pointless because MATT and Laura treated just as badly..! Shoutout to this Kroger's bakery department for always doing an awesome job on custom order cakes. The chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting is the best. Not every Kroger bakery is the same as evident in my recent experience at another Kroger location. The staff is friendly and takes pride in their work. After a long hike at the Eagle Mountain Park we stopped by Krogers for groceries and made some great tasting sandwiches. This was my visit ever to a Krogers and I left with a positive impression. - Entire aisle dedicated to Dr. Pepper. Though they didn't have their cream soda flavor. BTW it's available in Arizona. - Nice selection of fruits including Kumquats! - Decent sushi. read more

I am new to this area, but I am DEFINITELY loving me this Kroger! Have spent the past few months exploring its aisles before writing this review. It's a good option for a grocery store in the Saginaw area. This location is what I'd like to call a "super" Kroger. Meaning that it carries a wide selection of grocery items, in addition to cosmetics, clothes, shoes, home decor, pet supplies, a gas station, Starbucks, and fresh bakery. I have yet to find something it does not carry lol. I especially love their fresh flower and plant section. They always have (in stock) my favorite flowers. If you're looking for a store that carries nearly everything you may need in a single visit, look no further. It is not as comprehensive as say a Walmart or Target, but, it does carry a wide variety of items compared to a regular grocery store like Tomb Thumb, Aldi, Sprouts, or Trader Joe's. I can usually find everything I am looking for at this location without having to visit another store. The store is always clean and stocked, and checkout is always a breeze. Prices are as expected and sometimes even cheaper than other stores, depending on the item. I highly recommend! read more

They've been selling expired cheese! Why are they selling expired foods?!? They won't even take it back and give our money back! Has the whole world gone crazy? A new, shiny grocery store! This is a nice Kroger store. It has a gas station, pharmacy, Starbucks, bakery, deli, and Clothes! That's right, I wrote Clothes! There are a few aisles with clothes, undies, and accessories for women, men, girls, and boys. I was so busy bargain hunting that I forgot to take pics. The store is big and has a nice selection of all natural and organic products. There were also some decent sales going on throughout. At the time of this review, Google maps had difficulty finding the store, but it's right on Bailey Boswell, so you can't miss it. The parking lot is as big as he store, so you won't have any issues parking. Don't forget to go to Kroger's website and download digital coupons. I shave $5 to $10 off my grocery bill with those. And there's always a Free item offered every Friday. Employees were friendly and greeted me and asked if I needed help. Next time I shop here, I'll remember to take pics :-) read more

Repost because it did not show up from two days ago.... Also sent the same to the main office but do not expect to hear back from them but you never know for sure. I will update if they respond. Start with the fuel station. I have notified the attendant the last three times I fueled with Diesel (each time a different pump) that they are extremely slow. It should not take 15 minutes to fuel 25 gallons this is almost a filter problem on the pumps.. They act like they do not care. Most of the trash cans are over full. The best I can say about the station is it has good lights. Now the reason for the post.... I have shopped exclusively for groceries at this store since they opened. The last several months it has gone down hill horribly. Shelfs not stocked, carts scattered everywhere in the lot, lanes not open, heavy stuff on top of bread more than once when checking out. Today there were four mini carts in the cart area because carts were once again all over the parking lot. I filled up the mini cart with most of my desired items (because of no more room). Went to the front to check out and two were lanes open once again like the last several trips to the store. The lanes were backed up almost to the end of the first grocery isle. I do not use and never will check myself out but that was not an option either as they were as backed up as the two open registers. My cart was left near the registers and I informed the service desk I not likely be back anytime soon. Meanwhile manager and others wandering around the store when they could be helping customers checkout. Sad state of affairs. I went down the street to the other grocery store and was in and out in 15 minutes. I likely would have still been standing in line at Kroger. read more

Received a call at 9am saying my grocery order pick up would not be ready. No problem, I was very friendly and understanding. The manager was kind, said she would call me later in the day. She called around 2, giving me an order update. I went to the store when she said (at 3) and was told it would take 5 minutes. I have currently been sitting in the parking lot for 52 minutes as I'm writing this in the check in lanes. There is no one bringing our orders except an older lady by herself. It will be 10 minutes before one order is filled. I changed my entire day around to make sure I'd be available to spend 5 minutes to pick up groceries. Instead I had to call to try to figure out how someone can pick my kids up because I'm boxed in the Kroger check in. read more

We bought this package of marked down Mac and cheese as an after church snack for our children on the 6th of June, with a sell by date of the 7th of June. None of our children would eat it so I gave it a try, I immediately noticed the texture of the noodles were far too soft and the taste was off. I had my wife check to confirm by smell that it had already spoiled. I called the customer service desk at the store and they told me I would have to drive back with the spoiled Mac and cheese to get a refund. I understand that this may be corporate policy but some discretion should be given considering it's a $3 item and they allowed a bad product to be sold and consumed by our kids. This is not the first time I've had a negative experience with this particular Kroger's customer service department, and I'm not sure if they treat everyone this poorly or if I'm somehow being singled out for reasons unbeknownst to me. read more

DO NOT USE PICKUP AT THIS LOCATION!! As someone who has worked in customer service for years previously, I have tons of empathy and understanding for busy and unprecedented situations that can cause service to be slow. On not 1 but 4 occasions have I had to wait 45+ mins for my groceries (even checking in early on the app). On one occasion I had my toddler with me as well! It doesn't matter what time of day it is, whether it's first thing in the morning and there's only 3 cars filling the available 6 spots, or if they've clearly overbooked and every spot is filled with 3-4 cars waiting, it's always slow! It sucks especially when most people use pickup as a source to get what they need quickly! I just don't understand what kind of lack of organization or technical issues could cause delays that bad, so frequently. read more

This is an amazing store if you go inside and get your groceries. If you do the curbside pick up it is the worst they do not give you updates no text messages or emails at least I did not get any. When I went to pick up groceries I sat for 45 minutes in the parking lot. It seems that they have a bunch of teenagers running this that rather be on there phones then working. I will not go back or recommend this service they offer to anyone that has a schedule. read more

I was in a rush to get some lettuce and just picked up the one in the very front I understand it isn't the freshest however it should not have mold on it . Now i am one to just pick a apart if a certain area is brown but ... this is just not okay and proper pulls should be done if a product is expired. I WAS RACIALLY PROFILED !!! Me and my good friend that came in to town this morning were asked the store because we were supposedly apart of a group of teenagers that were stealing last night, I tried to politely explain that he had me mixed up with someone else because we're both 22 years old and my friend was in Houston the day prior to this. He got hostile with me and insisted that I leave the property before he call the police. When the police arrived he explained that we were the 2nd group that were kicked out today and that he could not show the video footage he so call had. My belief is that the 2nd group kicked out that day was also black because I'm not sure what else we would have in common as a group. I asked to speak with a manager since Brian wasn't open to the idea that maybe he had the wrong people, I was told both the manager and assistant manager were not in the kroger at the time. Very angry that I was kicked out of my neighborhood Kroger because a group of kids in the previous years stole candy. read more

If I could leave a zero rating I would. I was shopping Saturday morning and tried to check out with a full basket. There was only one lane open with 5 full carts already in line. No other lanes were open. I asked the manager if they could possibly open another line, I was told to use self check out. I stated that I didnt work for Kroger and wasn't interested in checking out my own groceries. I was told that would be my only choice. If I hadn't been in such a hurry due to family coming to my house, I would have left the basket where it stood and walked out. I again asked if another lane could be opened, I was told either check my own groceries or wait in the line that now had 7 full baskets waiting. I told the manager that I was greatly disappointed in her response and would most likely go elsewhere when it came time to buy groceries again. She stated," You can go where ever you want." I checked my own groceries and will never go back to that Krogers for groceries. May not go back to Kroger period. Man, does this area need some HEB's for competition. I called Kroger today 11/08/2022 to check on my cake order and to get a price. I called and spoke with Tyler that I needed the bakery. He placed me on hold after 10 minutes he states he could not get a clear answer if there was someone in the bakery. I explained to him I had a cake order and needed to know if it was ready and the price, and that it would be a big inconvenience if I drove there and the cake was not ready. After placing the phone down ( NOT ON HOLD). As he speaks with another employee on the walkie talkie and states she ordered and cake and does not know the price. I remember when customer Service stood at a high value. Here at Kroger a customer can be casually mocked by employees. for trying to obtain information. the phone was laying there with me on the line for 16minutes. then it was placed on a silent hold for 20 more minutes. Then I was hung up on. I promptly called back and asked for management. I got Samuel I explained to him what happed and how Tyler and another employee were mocking me on the walkie talkie. Samuel states he will go to the bakery and retrieve the information I needed. I asked him just please do not hang up on me. He assured he would not. Put me on hold I was on hold 25 minutes. As I walked into the store still on hold. I went to customer Services as I asked Tyler if he would call Samuel. Another employee that was standing there male in a red vest states (OH THATS THE ONE) then walkie talkie to Samuel and says (THAT CUSTOMER IS HERE). As Samuel walked up I showed him my phone as I was still on hold a total of 28 minutes. He states he tried to call me. Why he would need to call me as I was on hold is beyond me. I was not going to answer any calls that would interrupt me being on hold. This experience was horrible sad that good customer service is no more. Samuel stated he would bring me the cake I said NO I would not want anything else to happen I will go with you to retrieve the cake. upon leaving the male in the red vets that was there when i walked in states can I ring that up for you as I was waliking to a register.. New location. Good area. It is a large store with great selections of many foods in each department. Beer selection is awesome. The make your own 6 pack area let's you get your feet wet with new brews without commitment into a six pack of just one beer. Nothing worse than trying to get rid of a six pack of beer you don't like. I'm sure some would enjoy free beer but at least make it tasty. The fresh food area is nice. Clean store and parking is plentiful. The gas station is at the front and I do enjoy not having to pay outrageous prices for gas elsewhere. The rewards points for reducing gas prices makes me always shop Kroger than anywhere else. I just wish there would be one open 24 hours. But not really complaining. Just a suggestion. read more

This store has a sorry ass managing crew specifically the store manager mike ! I always have the worst experience when I come here. Those poor clicklist associate have to take out orders in the rain and cold while being understaffed and I hear they have no manager help whatsoever. I only use clicklist because inside the store is horrific I get no help from the managers when I'm inside and they act like I'm invisible when they see me confused but to see these kids being treated like this is the worst thing I've seen since 1960.
