I have shopped the Silverlake Kroger store in Erlanger, KY since it opened. The staff, including the baggers, have been consistently cordial and helpful. The store is well stocked when I shop. My turn to rant. I use Kroger for pick up. It is easy and simple, until tonight. I picked up my order and drove home. As I unpacked the bags I saw something odd. It was a container from Larosa's. I wasn't sure so I pulled out of the bag. Thats where I made the biggest, most , discusting discovery. It was leftover food. Smelly, rancid, food...IN WITH MY GROCERIES! I have emailed, and called Kroger about this. I can't get a HUMAN. Online it's a damn bot asking all the wrong questions. On the phone its voice mail hell. So now i am here on FB. Some of the employees are very rude. Store needs updating. They are out of stock in certain items almost every time I go there.

I was here picking up my girlfriend's meditation for her and the cashier at the register told me that she would have to call her insurance company for her car to be accepted into the system, in order for me to get her medication. Otherwise they were going to charge me for it. It is her first time at this Pharmacy and it will probably be the last time at this Pharmacy. Because y'all's workers don't know how to just input information into a system. I was not explained to at all about why she wasn't able to put anything in the system. Never coming back here for pharmacy needs again. Horrible service. Horrible staff. On top of everything I stood in the pickup line when I first got there and was skipped over by four or five other people until the lady finally said hey my window is down here at the drop off window but I was there to pick up. read more

Just moved to the area and very disappointed in the Kroger here. It's old and dirty. I think they are doing okay during Covid except that I keep seeing employees not wearing masks right. It would be great to get more organic food in. I'm sure I won't be going here much once the new Trader Joe's opens up the street. Please PLEASE update this place. read more

I so wish management would do something with this Krogers! It's dirty! It's disorganized! It's hard to maneuver a cart around without hitting something. Dates are always overdue or the day of. Employees always chatting in the aisle with managers. Check out lines are seldom open or the amount they need. Self check is the way they force you to go. It's a shame! I mistakenly thought I'd try Kroger Floral in Erlanger vs the florist I've always used for kids dances. I ordered a wrist corsage with roses. I was happy with the way it looked but within a minute of opening to place on wrist, the roses started falling out. The roses appeared to be too short. My son said the corsage fell apart and they threw it away. I called Kroger the following Monday morning. I still had the receipt and felt I was owed a refund, in the very least. I was told I'd have to bring the corsage in for a refund, which was not possible. Lesson learned-go elsewhere and spend a few more dollars. Someone who will back up their product. read more

The deli is the absolute worst. They have one lady that works hard (Mary). The other ladies don't care if there are 20 people waiting. They either find something else to do or move as slowly as humanly possible. Give Mary a raise and get rid of Michelle. Michelle is the laziest person I have ever seen with a job. read more

There pick up service is horrible. I received a text message that my order was ready at 4 pm. I arrived at 4:45, checked in, waited 10 minutes, then called because no one came out. Finally someone answered, oh I will page him. Waited again, then called and he said my order wasn't ready and it would be awhile. Meanwhile 6 other vehicles pulled in line to wait... they filled one that came at 5 at 5:20. 50 minutes later... still waiting. read more

Was there today buying items for the buy 5 get 5 dollars off. A brand had a specific flavor with the 5/5 tag on it so I got some to complete the 5/5. I noticed the other flavors did not have them, so I figured they were just trying to push that one flavor. Stores do that, certain flavors are only on sale, or "select flavors." However, I guess that item was no longer on sale and that negated the other 5/5 items. This is not the first time I have had issues with prices not right, or no longer on sale and the tags are still there. I seem to have to police my receipt every week. Today, I just did not have time to go back in. This is why I left Meijer, but maybe it's time to give them another chance. read more

For the last 9 years, this was my "go to" store since I live in Elsmere, and Ft. Mitchell Kroger was a little too far, and Remke on Turfway was a little too pricey. But, honestly, what HAPPENED to this store? 1. The clerks: do they KNOW how to speak? I mean, to the customer, that is. There is plenty of banter about who's going where, when their next break is, how much they can't wait to leave, blah, blah, blah. Because....they're all freakin' teenagers! 2. The deli: They completely did away with Boars Head. Thanks for leaving me...2 options of deli meat. Kroger and Sarah Lee, all pumped full of stuff that I don't want in my food. And let's talk about leaving things so long in the case (bbq, macaroni salads, etc...) that they get a disgusting film on them...so WHO would WANT to buy them? 3. The organic frozen food selection and dairy: WHAT selection? It's fine if you eat Amy's organic burrito's, but I can get those at Target now. And whoever stocks the Stonyfield Farms yogurt is either never there, because stock is so low, or doesn't care if they poison people because the dates are always about 2 weeks past due. I've brought this up to management many times and am told it's "not their problem". Ultimately, since I'm not shopping there anymore, it IS your problem. Customer loss would be your problem. I have little complaint about the pharmacy at this location, however. They've always been prompt, kind and efficient. read more

This is an okay Kroger. It's small. The workers are not the nicest - in fact, I stopped visiting the deli altogether because some of the rudest employees were at the deli. The bathrooms are ... well, just go to the bathroom before you go shopping. But, it has a good selection and a decent produce section. I like to shop at this Kroger because it's a lot more manageable than the super Krogers in Ft. Mitchell and Newport. It doesn't suck up all my time and I don't end up with extra things in my cart that I don't need. This is a Kroger you can run in and out of in 20 minutes and be done. I really think you can tell the quality of a grocery store by the quality of its produce and, while you won't get the same quality as something like Whole Foods, this Kroger is good for average produce needs. Nothing fancy but it works and the food isn't covered in fruit flies or bugs (like Walmart - ew!) and is not rotten (which has happened to me a couple times at the Ft. Mitchell Kroger). It has a small - very small - organic section that's hidden by the value/sale items where the bread is. There is also a small organic freezer section around the corner from produce. And by that freezer section is a small organic dairy section. They have the essentials - nothing crazy. Ft. Mitchell Kroger has a better meat selection, but the meat at this Kroger is still a good selection and good quality. The only thing I'll caution you against is if you buy a potted plant from the florist section, push the soil around a bit and closely examine the buds to make sure there are no gnats or bugs on it. The last couple times I've bought potted plants - azaleas and orchids - they had bugs in the soil. Also, don't go at night. Unless you want a Wal-mart like experience, in which case definitely go at night. read more

This store is a complete joke. Everyone should go to Florence or Ft. Mitchell. If, you go after 9:00pm beware. If, you go through go through self checkout, and you have an issue with a price, make sure you do it before 10:00pm, they shut down customer service desk. Therefore, you cannot get a credit or refund till the next day. Health department should checkup on conditions. The last business I wrote a review was shut down by Board of Health. This store has been going down for the last 2 years. read more

I am continuously impressed with the kindness of the employees at this store. Everyone always seems to be in a good mood and happy to help you find whatever you're looking for. Due to an ample amount of employees; the register lines are never very long. The produce always seems to be getting restocked while I'm there, which lets me know it's fresh. read more

This store always seems to be out of sale items, even on the first day of the sale. A year or two ago they rearranged the store and I still have trouble remembering where things are because there is no rhyme or reason to how it is organized now. If you need to ask someone a question you have to go to the front desk. Most of the people are very friendly when you talk to them. I don't see anyone around who actually looks like a manager to "oversee" things. It is just a very different Kroger than most. read more

First thing you notice when you pull in the parking lot is that there are more cart returns than parking spaces. It is absolutely maddening. I come to this location mainly to refill my water cooler jugs at the water island station. Surprisingly, they "turn off" the water island at 10pm. Why?? There's no sign or anything that states this. It's an self-serve water spigot. Why turn it off? Anyway... There are certain hours where there are no actual cashiers. Zero. Your only option is self checkout. read more

I live practically up the street from this location, but usually shop at the Hebron Market Place Kroger because I'm so tired of not being able to find what I need in my neighborhood. The produce selection in slim at best, and often obviously not fresh. The organic selection is a joke, and no one ever knows if they have a product or not. I just spent 15 minutes on hold for someone to look to see if they had whole wheat pastry flour. The girl never came back on the phone, I was sent back to the switchboard, and had to start all over to find that, NO, they don't have it. WONDERFUL!!!!! read more

I like this location. They are always stocked. However, they do not get in new items very often. But their produce is always fresh and stocked. I wish they would tell their baggers not to chat so much with each other and pay attention and not bag my stuff all crazy. read more

Terrible! I punish myself every time I come here. Why? Because I always end up leaving empty handed and driving out of my way to go to a different Kroger. This is the most under stock Kroger in the history of krogers. On 3 different occasions I have left here disappointed due to the shelves being damn near empty and almost every item that I needed was not in stock. read more
