PROS: -- Close in proximity to PF, Target, Meijer -- Decently stocked CONS: -- Very dirty -- Unprofessional staff Overall thoughts: Go to the Kroger at Newport Pavillon or checkout the target or Meijer across the street.

This is one of the super mega Kroger Marketplaces. Not only are you able to shop for your groceries, but you can purchase fine jewelry, visit the Little Clinic, visit the pharmacy, drop off your dry cleaning at one of the Tide Lockers, do your banking, buy clothing, sit and enjoy a beer or wine tasting, or pick up prepared food from such kiosks as chicken, sushi, Starbucks and Rapid Fire Pizza. A gas station is located on the side that faces Chic-fil-A. Not to mention all the other services I missed. We actually ended up at the Kroger on accident. How does one end up at a Kroger on accident? We were in the area, and typed "Rapid Fire Pizza" into our GPS. The one located inside of this Kroger was the closest location. We falsely thought it was located next to the Kroger, not inside of it. When we got there, and realized Rapid Fire was inside, we decided to try it anyway. With an estimated wait time of 12 or 13 minutes given for our pizzas to be done, some of us took that as an opportunity to explore Kroger. The store was clean. Employees seemed available throughout the store. Considering the circumstances (Coronavirus panic buying,) the store was well stocked. The lines for checkout were short for a Saturday. I am talking no more than 3 people per register. When it was time to pay for our pizzas, (as they are paid for at the Kroger registers, not the Rapid Fire kiosk,) we were able to walk right up to one of the self checkout lanes. Despite it being a busy Saturday, there were plenty of carts. Courtesy clerks were retrieving carts when we arrived, as well as when we departed.

I originally entered the store in the hopes of finding some free Friday products that had recently been out of stock. I asked Robert about the items and he took the time to check the back and upon seeing it was still out of stock, he offered an alternative. I was highly satisfied with this interaction. He went above and beyond to make sure I got what I came for! My interaction at the seafood counter wasn't unpleasant, I just felt as if the employee felt put out when I asked for my crab legs. Perhaps I had my service bar set high after my interaction with Robert, but it seemed as if the employee barely acknowledged me then just mumbled for me to have a nice day while he was already walking away. I will say, this is not the norm at this store. I typically have such a pleasant experience. For those who haven't been, this store is HUGE! It has everything from fresh produce and seafood to fine jewelry and clothing. I especially love the bar! Who wouldn't like a nice glass of wine as they grocery shop?

Most impressive/biggest Kroger I ever been. It has cheese, wine, beer bar. A dining area with many outlets for people to hangout or do some work while eating their food. A make your own pizza and deli. It is like a whole food, but much bigger and names Kroger. The store is like size of Wal Mart.

The largest Kroger in Kroger history opened today in the Oakley neighborhood of Cincinnati. The store is huge if you can't find it here you're better off without it they have a growler station, wine bar, woodfired pizza, burritos, fried chicken, clothing and probably the largest organic produce section of any store around I stopped by after working out but was surprised to see most of the special new stations in the store close at 8pm, maybe because it was opening day? A guy I know who was working behind the craft beer/growler station told me he was told to close at 8 PM while he had tons of people coming up to him wanting to get beer and wine. There are also people in the bistro area asking for fried chicken wraps pizzas and they were told no they closed.

Having a wine and beer bar makes this one of my favorite locations. The fact that it is in walking distance of where I work is a wonderful perk too. I haven't had issues not finding any necessary items. So, this is almost the perfect store for me. But I would get rid of the clothing and home goods area. I don't think those are necessary in a grocery store.

Awesome selection, lots of fresh produce. This Kroger location is great. Lots of stuff. It's larger than most Krogers I've been in. The produce section is wonderful with lots of fresh goodies. Good selection of raw nuts/legumes as well. Impressive organic section. Even a large kitchenware area. They have a beer tasting area. You can try some before getting a growler. The registers tend to get a little slow. This is a popular spot, especially on the weekends. And it can also get a little crowded around high-traffic areas (produce/dairy, etc). They do the best they can. I've seen a few pop-up events in the parking lot as well. Overall, good location and great selection.

I really wanted to love this place because of all the good things I heard about it. I drove over…read moretwo hours to try it out. I will say that I really loved the huge variety of everything in this store. We arrived on a busy Saturday at around noon (won't be doing that again) but easily found a good parking spot in the giraffe lot. I got a cart for my child and it had a baby steering wheel for her to play with to entertain her. You walk in and are instantly overwhelmed by all of the options- in a good and bad way. I don't think the store is messy by any means, it's an organized chaos. We followed the line of people throughout the different sections and strayed away a few times to look at some items. I liked the pickle barrels with 3/$3 whole pickles with different flavors to choose from. There's a HUGE alcohol section so if that is your fancy then you are sure to find what you are looking for there. The customer service was not very good. Workers had AirPods in and when you went to ask a question they acted like you were a huge bother. I will say that the bartenders at the random bars across the store were so nice. Maybe because a difference in roles? Not sure. What REALLY left a huge distaste in my mouth was the cashier and his helper that was bagging groceries. On my receipt it says Walter. I got up to him and said hello and he stared straight at me. After he was done scanning he didn't say anything at all he was just waiting for my card. My mom was right behind me with her items and got the same treatment. She even inquired about what rang up as $32 because it looked like a candy that was scanned came up as that much and he just stared at her as well. No troubleshooting, no help at all whatsoever. It was honestly like talking to a wall. His bagger also had the same attitude but both had no issue speaking to the cashier in the next lane when they had a question amongst themselves. You could just clearly tell they'd rather be literally anywhere else than working on a Saturday. It was honestly ridiculous to be ignored so blatantly like that. Overall if you need any type of grocery under the sun I would say come here. Don't come on the weekend though. I'd maybe come on a weekday during non peak hours and for sure won't be asking for help from any employee.

This year it was a combo of Valentine's Day and Mardi Gras -- so as you strolled through the Findlay Market complex, you could sample either savory Cajun-inspired dishes, or dessert-themed dishes. You had 2 choices for tickets, either 8 tickets or (I believe) 20 tickets for a higher price. I went with the maximum amount this time, so that I could just impulsively select the samples in front of me without having to ration out my choices. And strongly recommend this method -- it's a great way to throw yourself into the event and to donate to a great organization. And the gourmet made-from-scratch delicacies didn't disappoint. My top fives favorites were: the "Velvety Smooth Beef Burgundy" from Eckerlin meats -- a flavorful stew with fork-tender beef chunks in it, the "Mini Elote" street corn cob (actually half a cob, thus the "mini" part of the name), with a flavorful authentic sauce on top, the "Hogs & Kisses Baby Back Ribs" from Neil Luken Meats -- a huge chunk of ribs (he said he gave me a larger piece than usual to compensate for giving me the butt end of the rack, which I heartily appreciated), the Gumbo from Barlion's Seafood & Poultry, as the broth was amazing, and I loved the ample chunks of Andouille sausage popping up in the stew, and the "Muffaletta Sandwich Bites" from Harmony Plant Fare. Other favorites of mine were the "Bourbon Street Chicken with White Rice" from Artichoke (they had run out of the dish so we had to wait 5-10 minutes until they could make more -- it was worth the wait, as the chicken was plump and flavorful), the "Cocoa Smoothie topped with Strawberry" from the Banasun Smoothie Bar," which was refreshing and perfectly spiced, and the "chocolate Covered Bacon" from Ruby's Chocolates, which had caramel mixed into the chocolate and bacon (and, BTW, the bacon was from Eckerlin Meats, one of their neighbors). All of this, combined with great weather, a band playing jazz, great service, and Findlay Market's wonderful "street fair" atmosphere. Who could ask for more?

I recently stopped here when me and my wife were in town in cincinnati. I've been to Cincinnati…read moretons of times but I've never visited the Findlay Market. This place was better than most of the Markets that I've been to in recent memory! Some of them are bigger but this one is a medium-sized Market to say the least. They have great produce in one section by the parking. Great variety of stores. I do like the outdoor tables as well. The cons I will say about the Findlay Market are the parking. You are expected to download an app and pay for parking that way instead of just getting a QR code that will redirect you and put in your payment information and the other con is once you leave the Farmers Market there really isn't much to really see or do since it's kind of blighted from a 1 block radius of leaving the market
