I find it absolutely absurd that an 84-year-old senior who shops in your store daily has to carry two 10-pound bags of salt to his own car because your staff is too busy decorating the customer service area. I'm just at my wits with the poor products from meat to fruit. On 2 occasions I paid for curbside service and received expired sausage. Then I gave it another try and received a mushed molded apple that was sealed in a bag of apples...how does this happen? This is gross. Krogers y'all need to do better. I live in Forest Park and I wasn't happy with this Kroger BUT I must say they have made some major changes. The produce and meat are fresh. The prices in the isles match up at checkout and if there is a discrepancy they will check it for you. The pharmacy also has IMPROVED. They now call when all of my medications are ready. I live close to this Kroger but I don't go there anymore. The last couple times I went there it was awful. Clientele was loud and using fowl language. One register open except for self service which I hate. I will drive two extra miles to Beckett ridge Kroger if I absolutely need to go to Kroger! Went in to grab a few things. It was very busy. I was able to grab everything I needed except one thing. The produce looked good, picked up veggies. Good sale on frozen meals so picked up a few of them which were good options. There were not long lines. I was behind one person. The staff wad friendly ave moved at a steady pace. Great service! Found everything than I needed. They just updated their seasonal section and have a lot of new things available.

This is the city's WORST Kroger. It's outdated, doesn't stock the freshest vegetables and fruits and has a small selection. The Pharmacy has challenges and I'm not sure why, because for the most part, they have good customer service. It NEVER has things ready on time or "loses" your prescriptions. I've had to enter my insurance several times and they say...every time....it's not on file. Why?! read more

Don't ever use the pharmacy here. Called a week ago to get a prescription filled - I tried to call for two days in a row to make sure it was filled and no one answered - went to the store and they told me it's not filled and it'll be another hour and a half. Just so not worth the time. read more

I ordered over 250 Kroger gift cards to gift to employees for A holiday gift. Due to difficulty dealing with the website I overpaid. I am still awaiting a sizable refund for the order with numerous email exchanges and filling out numerous forms. In early January I was told it would take 15-20 business days and again on Feb. 4 it would take 15-20 business days. The customer service has been awful! read more

Great Kroger store for all your Kroger needs. I always find what I want, never running out if what I need (except for the "guacamole fiasco" which I'll explain below). The floral department had flowers all days of the week and fresh baked bread that never disappoints for a great grilled cheese. The seafood department is alright, they don't always have mussels when I need them, but they carry most everything else. There always seems to be a good Kroger sale going on, and a WIDE selection everything you'd need. If you're looking for wine/beer, or liquor, go to the Kroger! It's wine selection is huge, an d they even have wine tastings (small but good) on Friday nights. The beer isle is as long as every other isle in the store!! They have a great selection of craft beers, local beers and national beers as well. As if this wast enough, they have a liquor store in the store. The store has most of what you'd need, but if you're already there, it's quick to stop right in. Ok, Guacamole: so as you can see I'm super impressed with the selection at this location, yet once I was severely disappointed until a kind stranger with the same quest saved the day. I had a craving for chips and dip and needed some dip. While I was looking endlessly from isle to isle I kept catching eyes with an intimidating gentleman... After the fourth time making eye contact, he leaned in close and said "can't find the guac mix either?". I was so excited to find someone else with my dilemma, but still so hungry! I gave up after a few more isles and nearly left the store when this man ran, RAN towards me with some dip! He tracked down the GM, went in the back ad they opened a new box just for us. Let's just say dinner was sweet, sweet victory a few weeks back! read more

I enjoy stopping in at Kroger's but Ive stopped here after a doctors appointment and were going to pick up some fried chicken and potato wedges for a quick dinner. It was 4:28, I asked the young lady putting out fresh chicken if more potato wedges were coming out. I was told no, it would be an hour before more of them were made! Not the most clean Kroger I have ever been into. The staff is friendly and they do greet you when entering the store. I have seen way to many people get into shouting matches outside the store for some reason. I try to go to the store up in Fairfield when getting grocery items. read more

I absolutely hate this Kroger! They are always out of things I need and this morning o go up there at 7:30 and they have a poster board that says tonight we will close at 10pm and reopen at 8am. I have no idea why this Kroger ever so often shuts down because o e never experienced this with any other Kroger. Also they could have put the dates on the sign. I figured tonight they were shutting down at 10pm, but I'm assuming since the doors did not open 10 pm was for last night. I ended up going to meijers. Good, solid Kroger store. Not the flashiest, but it was remodeled a few years ago, so it's pretty clean, and busy, but not too much on the extreme. A good location when needing the basics or some of those nice deals they often do. There's a Walmart and Meijer both up Winton Rd, but still I find myself at this Kroger most of the time. read more

Not clean. The door greeter is nice, but the security officer makes me nervous. The cashiers and baggers are young and have used inappropriate language around my children while conversing, neglecting to even greet us. Good store deals at times, terrible bagging procedures. Just had the worst service in my life at my local krogers I shop there weekly sometimes more...this was my first in counter with this employee Judy said she was a manager guess they let anyone mange there stores she was rude and as ugly on the inside as she is on the outside! I had 2 orders and had a few wine coolers in self checkout the cute checkout girl said she needed my id which I had left in my car so I had my daughter go out and get it...so when she came back I showed it to the so called manager she was rude like I don't need to see it now ring up ur stuff so I did and she was standing over my shoulders so I'm like do u need something else so she says I can stand here...?! Wth ok u right u can lol... so I'm like what's ur attitude we exchanged words then I go to find a real manager that's over her he she comes following me...while I'm explaining to a worker the situation she dips in like I'm over him as well and goes on to tell me I can leave!! And that I needed to leave... WOW!!! I spend more on krogers In a day than she makes a week...the issue is I never disrespected her nor called her out of her name but u kick me out of store that's not your krogers she needs to manage that attitude... so Thanks baggy eyed Judy cause me nor my family will be shopping at any Krogers period I will make sure to all my friends as well!!! Will rather go to Walmart or Meijers!!! It's a grocery store - probably the highest overall average prices in the area - they do have some good sales - their checkout policy lacks at this particular store - typically if its early (or late) they want you to use the self service - which at times is cumbersome depending on what you have - if you go to one of the regular lanes and stand there and look at them they eventually get the message....most of the staff is pleasant and I like the way they use those who have disabilities - some of the nicest folks you'd ever meet - store is old and shows its age at times read more
