This place is the literal worst! They are constantly out of stock! Stock doesn't match up with their app. I don't know who buys for this store, but they shouldn't have that job because they do it so poorly. I have tried to use the pick-up for convenience occasionally. It is seriously hit or miss. Today they said they weren't filling orders after 5pm after I placed an order for 5 earlier in the day. Then the associate was upset when I said to cancel my order. If you're refusing to fulfill the order, then why are I going to wait for things I need? It's just so frustrating. Every time we return bottle the machine rejects them, and the older lady at the service desk always accuses us of bringing out of state bottles. No, dude. I don't normally go to Kroger to return bottles/cans because the return room is dirty. I know it has to be hard to keep a bottle return room clean, but that floor has not been mopped in months. Today I went to Kroger to return bottles/cans (because I had a few Kroger brand bottles). Not even one bottle return machine was working, the man ahead of me had gone to the service desk to request someone to service the machines. A young (perhaps high school girl) came out and made an attempt, she then went to get her boss, who sent her back to inform everyone waiting that the machines had been inoperable for a while and probably would be quite some time before they would be repaired. What a great boss, send a kid to apologize, seems to me that should have been his job. read more

It just sucks. Many shelves are empty. Employees are sticking shelves during the day when I am shopping. Many times there are aisles blocked because employees are stocking shelves. The place is totally mis-managed. read more

I had been waiting for three days to pick up my dad's cancer medication. When they called for me to pick it up I immediately came to the store and by the time I got up to the counter, they slammed the gate right in my face telling me they are all going to lunch, so now I am sitting here waiting to get prescription for a cancer patient I would not ever use this pharmacy or this grocery store. read more

I've needed the Pharmacy as well during this time, and they've been efficient and helpful. The sushi chefs are great here and will make whatever you like to-order. The party trays are a great deal! I came in to make an alcohol purchase at this location. At the self checkout, the employee came to scan my ID. He first scanned my ID the wrong way, and then told me that he would be right back and took my ID. He took my ID a few registers down & I saw him & a few other employees looking at my ID with a light. He then came over, handed me my ID, and took my items I rang up away from me and started walking away. I asked if there was an issue & he told me that he cannot fulfill my purchase because my ID was "fake." My ID is real & is not expired. I politely asked him to scan it again because there was clearly an error and he refused and was extremely disrespectful. I called and spoke to the manager, who was friendly, but extremely unhelpful. I do not recommend this location because the staff is clearly not trained & disrespectful, and because the management is not helpful whatsoever. read more

I started using ClickList a few months ago when I finally dove back into working full time again. You pay $4.95 for the service, but it's soooo worth it. Let me tell you why. 1. I make my grocery list and fill my cart from the comfort of my warm, cozy couch at home. No dealing with other people and even more importantly, I don't buy crap I don't need. I don't walk by stuff going "oh yeah I need that" (I rarely really do) or "oooh look at this" or the disastrous habit of buying snacks because I get hungry at the store. 2. It's 7* today and I only have to carry my groceries into my house. I don't have to load them up in the freezing cold or walk across a huge, freezing parking lot to get in and out of the building. 3. They pick out really good produce. I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to trust a stranger with something that is so relative to each individual, but I haven't had any issues yet. 4. The people working the service are always just so pleasant! 5. If they are out of something on my list, they will give you a substitution and they've walkways had good judgement on what is a suitable replacement. Honestly, I wrote this review in the time I've been sitting here and they just finished loading my car up. It's so quick! read more

So Kroger in my area has a policy that if you pay cash for your order, they cannot give coin change back. The coined change will be credited to your Kroger Card, and then will be applied to your next order. I was surprised by that policy when I paid cash for my last groceries and waiting for my change back. It was fifty cents, so no big deal. I then go back to Kroger 2 days later to pick up some things, and when all is done I look at my receipt to see if my fifty cent credit was applied, and it wasn't. I asked the cashier about it and she said she didn't know why it wasn't, that it should have been. I agreed with her; it should have been. The cashier said I could go to customer service and find out why. I did not have time to stand at customer service to find out why Kroger is stealing from their customers. I say stealing because the woman that was in line behind me had the same happen to her. Just think how many customers who pay cash, and do not get their coin change returned and " credited to their kroger card" to be applied to their next order, and the credit doesn't get applied. Shame on you Kroger! read more

Extremely disappointed in management at this time. Anyone letting shoppers leave with carts full of meat during Covid 19 is incompetent. Staff training and systems are easy to prevent this as we see at many stores. We witnessed this today and we have never hoarded groceries during this time. This is an unacceptable policy. I just came back from Mississippi. I stopped at Kroger to get a few things that I needed. When I went to check out I was told I could not use my debit card as a credit card. There where no signs to indicate that they will not take a card as a credit card. Luckily I had enough cash to pay for my items as I do not know my PIN number since every other place I have ever shopped including the Kroger down south will accept that card in that manner. This place is almost always in disarray when I stop in. They're not consistent with keeping items stocked either. Since the remodel/shift things are not in logical places. The natural/health section is now pretty spread out just stuck with other items. However, the staff is always kind, so 3 stars it is. read more

This is the best grocery store downriver. It is much better than the other Krogers in the area and beats the heck out of Meijers and Wal-mart with the large selection of gourmet and organic items. I usually have to travel out of the downriver area out to Hillers, Holiday Market or Whole Foods to get my groceries. Thankfully I stopped into this Kroger's accidently and was surprised at the selection. Even the produce and baked goods sections offer more than a typical Kroger's. This location is about 12 miles from my house but I would go here before I went to the Krogers one mile from my house, just for the selection. read more

Called to order a cake waited on the phone for 30 minutes with no answer. Called the next morning and placed my order right away. Too bad they screwed up the icing. I specifically said whipped frosting and the employee who took it repeated the order back to me and it was perfect. Who ever made it used crappy frosting. read more

I was an employee and a customer. Most of the Managers are nice enough. But the shelves are often not stocked enough because it's more important to them to pull stockers off the floor to ring people up, then it is for them to let us stock the shelves and do their jobs! It would be so much better if they employed more cashiers and everyone stuck to one job and got things done. Everybody is friendly to the customers though so for that reason I gave them 3 stars. -1 star for unstocked products and -1 star for not being that great of a place to work. read more

I visit this Kroger nearly 3-5 times a week. I also get my prescriptions here and won't go to any other pharmacy. The pharmacy staff is so nice and quick. Way better than rite aid or any other one I've been to. read more
