I was very pleased with the health of the plants that we were looking at. When I got the plants home and put them in the soil they established themselves quickly and maintained their vigor. They don't seem to force the plants and that's great. When a nursery does that when you get the great looking plant home you could find yourself with a sad, wilting plant the next day that you need to bring back to health. Their displays are quaint, simple, well done and bring out the beauty and interest of what they are selling without overwhelming the shopper with price tag mania. If you have young children keep an eye on them. It is a working farm and therefore presents some of the hazards to be found at any farm. The place is kept clean, it is well lit and has suitable parking. It is easy in and out of the parking lot, but watch for traffic, of course, because it's a two lane road just outside. The greenhouse itself is huge, well organized, and surprisingly easy to shop despite how much they have. I'd honestly love to see what the selection looks like even earlier in May, though planting too early in Michigan always feels a little risky. Prices felt very fair too, especially compared to some of the hanging basket and planter prices at local markets and pop-ups. Definitely a spot I'll be returning to.
