One of the best health food stores I've stumbled upon in SE Michigan. I can highly recommend to others.

First time coming here, wanted to look for some healthy food and snacks to snack on while I was in the area. Store layout is easy to navigate through if you've been to any other Fresh Thyme market. Staff here is friendly. We'll stocked inventory of food and drinks. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have any soups available today. Overall, great casual visit. read more

Love this store, i get some of my organic veggies and speciality groceries here. They have this red yam which is very similar to a Indian street food. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. They have a huge variety of supplements and essential oils. I generally get them when they are on sale. read more

I've always heard good things about Fresh Thyme and I have tried products from them before, so we decided to go there ourselves. After this trip I don't think we will go back again, at least not to this location. My wife mentioned to me she got lemonade from them before and when she got home it was already sour. I thought that was quite unfortunate but hopefully just a one off incident. One of the items we purchased was scones, and not even 2 days after we bought it we noticed mold growing. Between this and the lemonade it makes you wonder what their storage practices are like. I thought the store was nice inside, but nothing really wowed me. If you shop regularly at Busch's, Holiday Market or Whole Foods you won't find the selections here all too impressive. Very unfortunate that the word "fresh" is in the name read more

Fresh Thyme is my favorite store. Everything is always fresh. Fresh Thyme always has a sale, and the staff is very helpful.

The store is open from 7am to 10pm, but their meat and deli dept opens and closes when they want to. Had to make three trips to get homemade brats. Then they tried to overcharge me 50 cents a pound. The manager was no help. Brats are good. Customer service sucks. read more

My first time here, I was greeted by someone I learned later is the general manager, and they helped me find what I was looking for - a product I hadn't been able to find at 5 other stores. Fresh Thyme has an amazing produce section, meat section, and even surprised me with the variety of their groceries. While I may have originally gone for supplements, I'll definitely be going back for much, much more. read more

Reminds me of Sprouts Farmers Market in the West/Southwest and Mid-Atlantic/South Atlantic areas. Prices are average, but selection is slightly limited. The organic avocados were mislabeled and had no price. read more

So, so disappointed in the Canton Mi, Fresh Thyme Market. They turned all their checkouts into( you work for me) self checkouts! The only lane that's left that is not a self check out had a big sign on it that said closed! We were there Monday Jan 16 in the afternoon and if your handicapped at all you might as well stay away from here now. They do not want to provide any service for those that can not use a self check out, or want to! So tired of places that went your business but do not care about providing any customer service or care about the disabled in the community! Sadly I will have to find a new place to shop. read more

I was appalled to see, in spite of the stores notice my that customers wear masks, two employees failed to comply with the mandate. Yes I understand masks can be uncomfortable, however my daughter who delivers food to the under privileged wears her mask for 8 hours. My friends who work in healthcare wear them for 8-12 hours. My sister who works for Chrysler in a contained unit must wear her mask 8-10 hours. These are just a few examples from my life. To the two women who found wearing a mask too uncomfortable to consider the health and welfare of your coworkers and customers I suggest you find another job. One where you can work outdoors and safely social distance without having to wear a mask. read more

This is my favorite market in Canton. It has everything you need with fresh, organic produce, cheeses, breads, salad bar and many others. They have a really decent wine selection as well! The service is part of my favorite thing about this place. All the employees seem very content and they have always been attentive and helpful every single time and I have needed assistance!! Only thing that doesn't make me give them 5 stars is the older guy at the meat/deli department, we owe him for working there throws at you what you a leer for on top of the refrigerated case Picks up sausages with gloves raw and packs it with the same gloves touching your paper wrap !!! I can't believe I waited so long to check out this gem! This is like a cheaper (and cuter) version of Whole Foods! I'm so glad Canton finally has a place for healthy, wholesome nutrition! Fresh Thyme has a plethora of already cooked meals that you just have to warm up. Cheeses, deli meats, frozen seafood, and bakery are some of the various sections in this store. Fresh Thyme is a bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for! They have a cute "kids snack" section where kids can get free fruit or a healthy snack! Props to Fresh Thyme for taking care of kids while parents can shop :D Fresh Thyme also has a vitamins section! Basically, this is a one stop health/grocery store! So happy to have a great place like this in Canon! read more

Very happy with this store! Love the prices on produce & meat. The prices on other products can be a little high but not horrible. They offer a good selection on organic fruit and vegetables. The staff at the deli counter & meat/seafood counter was helpful, quick, and accurate. I appreciate the "kids corner" with fresh fruit for the little ones. This makes grocery shopping a little easier. There are usually staff members around the store and will offer assistance if needed. I appreciate a store and visit again if my one year old enjoys it. He loved the sample at the deli counter, fresh fruit/sucker while shopping, and stickers at the checkout. Thank you for making my grocery shopping a little easier. I will be back soon! read more

This used to be our go to place, not anymore. They've turned everything into self checkout lanes, but one, which was closed. While at least three employees were hanging around the checkout area, laughing and joking with each other. You clowns just lost some more customers. I don't work for Fresh Thyme, and I sure as hell won't be shopping there anymore, unless they decide to use cashiers again. Just pitiful this company has sunk this low! read more

This little market is somewhat like the "Whole foods" market. They have everything from organic blueberries to chocolate candy! I get the special plantain chips and they're my favorite! The employees talk to us and they're friendly ! Next time I come here I'll snap a photo because this time I actually checked in as we were in parking lot leaving. But I couldn't let the visit go by without letting you know how awesome this place is! If you don't feel like cooking tonight, you can always pick up an already broasted full little chicken! They're wonderful tasting and nice and hot! I love the bulk food section too! You can get coconut or nuts or pretty much anything you like! They also have a section for cold foods and snacks. Most of the snacks look really cool, for example I saw lentil chips there today! Isn't that kind of different? I think I need to try those next! I like this place! It's nice to have somewhere in Canton that's nicer than your average Meijer or Kroger with special items like bulk nuts/candy/seeds/coffee/etc. Sometimes I walk around just for fun and pick one or two special treats, whether it be a tapenade or unique soda. It's like a toned down Whole Foods. Prices are good for some things, bad for others, but there are usually good sales. read more

I want to like this place but I've been disappointed. Frequently I've gotten things that are not so "fresh". Rotten salad mix well before the sell by date. Completely overripe banana, almost spoiled watermelon, soft apples, moldy strawberries. The cashiers are surly, especially the middle aged white guy with glasses. read more

No lie, it's obviously just a bit more expensive than if you went to Meijer or Kroger, but the store is always clean and well stocked. They have a ton of organic and speciality items. The workers are friendly and they even have free fruits and veggies for kiddos to snack on while you shop. On Wednesday's, they do double coupon days so you can save even more! read more

First time to the Canton location of Fresh Thyme Market (usually go to Plymouth or Farmington Hills and have been very satisfied with their quality and freshness). Today (at 6:30 pm) the salad bar at this Canton location was very disappointing. The lettuces were wilted and some pans were empty. Some toppings were empty, too. I then went over to packaged guacamole and noticed a grayish colored one. I mentioned these things to the cashier who apologized, but i don't know if I'll be back. Their prices are higher than Better Health and so far they haven't given me a reason to come back. Disappointing. read more

I went specifically for Organic snow peas, and was excited at the thought to load up my cart with a bounty of Organic fruits and vegetables, (craving Brussels sprouts and/or green beans, too). Well... My expectations were too high. The basic items we ended up with (apples, banana, red pepper, "seedless" mandarins with lots of seeds), all of which I could have found at Meijer. The guy Jon said, "we don't have that much Organic; it's just a name." ('Fresh Thyme' or 'Organic' I'm not sure what he was referring to.) We went around 7:30 on a Wednesday and the salad bar was so very depleted and a mess with floaters in almost every item. The gal walked one tray of lettuce out, rather than a cart of all the empty items, and did no cleaning/plucking. Most of the salad toppings have no label, which seems against health (allergen prevention) code to me. Thing is... The were many employees milling around, no management in sight. The store is bright and new, of course. And they have a wide selection of essential oils and Organic personal care products - but that's just a name, right? read more

This place is clean, bright, and filled with very friendly employees. I have been pretty happy with just about all of the produce I've purchased here, and the meat is FANTASTIC. Four stars because the prepared foods (i.e. tabbouli, potato salads, etc.) are incredibly bland. I am not sure if anyone tastes the food, but it needs to be done. Just about every prepared food I have purchased has been severely lacking in the salt/pepper department. Due to the great quality of just about everything at this market, it is surprising to me that this hasn't been mastered. read more

Great store with great selections of hard to find items. Great for families that have special dietary needs like Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Corn Free, etc. Many alternative products for those that can't have more common products such as soy alternatives like coconut amino's, etc. Good selection of Organic Produce. I stopped at this store today after work to grab some Zucchini and Summer Squash. It was my first time in here. I was disappointed with the selection. There were 3 Zucchinis left to pick from and some small, slightly browned Summer Squash. I guess I expected more from a store that is labeled as a Farmers Market. The selection of vegetables is much better at Holiday Market. I won't be back to this store. read more
