Westborn Market was definitely a favorite spot in Dearborn for all things gourmet and delicious. From bunches of fresh herbs to amazing bakery items and super fresh produce. I found gift items like beautiful candles made in Michigan and Items from local pastry shops as well as baked in house treats. The market was super clean, well stocked and organized and the staff was helpful and we navigated our way around the large market. Westborn Market is worth seeking out if you are any where around Dearborn and if you are lucky enough to live nearby it's the perfect go to place for all of your fresh food and seasonal decor like beautiful planted urns and holidays wreaths.

For anyone visiting from out of town, this definitely reminds of Gelson's and Whole Foods. A very nice, quality grocery store in Michigan. Excellent selection of local produce and their deli selection was great. Picked up an amazing ham sandwich in the deli case and it was unbelievable for $7! So delicious and the kale & edamame salad we picked up hit the spot. Whether you're grabbing a quick meal or picking up groceries, this is definitely a go-to spot to enjoy whenever in the area. Only complaint is parking as shopping carts are typically strewn throughout the lot, spaces are tight and people take forever leaving. If you find a spot, grab it right away!

Holy wow! That's all I can say. We live on an island, so fresh produce comes from the garden. We do hit stores when on the mainland, but when visiting my son who goes to U of M in Dearborn, he took me to Westborn market. I was in love. You don't see markets like this much anymore. Bought plums that lasted 2 weeks! Needless to say, I'm back visiting my son in Dearborn and here I am writing this review in their parking lot. Friendly staff, great produce with a wide selection! So I do this thing...every time I see my son we cook for him, do dishes, and fill his fridge and freezer. From now on, he is getting his fridge filled by us from Westborn Market.

Beautiful cake and flowers. They even wrapped the flowers for me so sweet 10/10 service

beautiful day... stopped to get some ground round. started making patties.. out side was red.. inside was brown. This has happened three times.. what's going on! Almost $10 worth of meat.. only half was good. I I gave it 2 stars though for their selection of other products.

I love this place! I go for the fruit and this time I went for the peaches the Southern ones and the Michigan peaches are very good only 1.99 a point. Look for the Michigan tomatoes you won't regret it! I also picked up so antipasto salad and some of their pickles. Yes things are a bit higher there but the quality makes it worth it!. They also have a deli counter, fish counter and meat counter.they have hot foods there they have sandwiches, hot soups, different types of breads oh there is a bakery as well! They also sell flowers.

Jacob and I did a lot of our grocery shopping at Westborn during our Shop Local challenge in January. There isn't much I can say about Westborn that others haven't already covered: great selection, good customer service, expensive, cramped. It has good sides and bad sides. We spent about $20-30 more here per week than we ever did at Meijer, and mostly on things that we KNEW we could get for much less elsewhere. After our challenge ended, Jacob and I decided we'd still get our lunch meats and dinner meats here, along with other items we can't find elsewhere. It's nice to support a small business and we really enjoy the hassle-free shopping experience offered.

    Yummy salads at the deli.

I love this market. It's expensive, but beautiful. The deli is amazing. Olive bar, soups and salad, fresh veggies, healthy items, yum. I've shopped here several times. I love the way it looks, with all the fresh flowers everywhere...just lovely. What I think a European market would look like.(I haven't been there...yet!)

    Great produce selection!

Huge selection prices a little higher than your average grocery store but well worth it. You do get what you pay for.

We ended up getting a lot more - imported candies, pomegranate molasses, and some very interesting pomegrante & strawberry drinks that have basil in them which basically turn into almost like miniature boba and are now my favorite drink. They've unfortunately been having trouble getting them with COVID shortages and shipping increases but I hope my fav drink will be back soon. Until then, every time I go to check, I find something new to get and now that I've gotten my faculty hooked on the little hard coffee candies and they've run out, have an excuse to go back ;)

OMG What a little gold mine this place is…read more Since the weather is being normal for Michigan, and while having nothing better to do than ride my bike, I decided to follow the advice of Horace Greeley, as in Go West not so young man. So I pointed my bicycle in the direction of Dearborn and rode not all hell bent for leather, but at a nice pace of about 15 mph. I had been passing this funny little building with Arabic script on it, and decided today was the day I stopped. I was blown away. it's not the biggest place on the planet, but they make good use of the room they have. I found sweets that made me drool like Homer Simpson does over a doughnut. Things like date filled pastries, and assorted goodies with names I cannot even begin to pronounce. The meat case is well ordered, and although there are no signs indicating what it there, there is a staff of butchers on duty to guide you through the maze. Most if not all the produce is marked with signs in Arabic. If you don't know what it is, just ask and they will be happy to help. There are things from all over the Middle East like cookies from Turkey, and cheese from Bahrain, and Lebanon. I made a mental note to return when I was more fluid. I also found many varieties of tea from Sri Lanka with Arabic script on the boxes. The prices are a tad high but you're going to find everything you're looking for. Just make sure it's not chili night because they dont carry it. However, if it's from the Middle East chances are good you're going to find it. One bad part and for this, I'm not going to deduct anything. There is no place to lock your bike, but there are handy light poles near the street if your lock chain is long enough.

My whole total was a measly $11 for a dozen of falafel, a plate of rotten turnips pickles and parsley 2 mini containers of garlic and tahini and 2 huge containers of garlic and tahini that were both sour and old tasting, I kept my mouth shut and didn't call them to complain and figured they lost a long time customer bc why would I even go back when their packaged items are all dusty and expired and flies all over their produce, in the whole produce isle I didn't see one fruit or vegetable that was edible and everyone was trying to buy stuff but they were walking away after trying to pick through. Way better markets in the area. Skip this place if you care about what goes into your body, threw the turnips pickles garlic and tahini straight into the trash upon opening, ate 2 of 12 falafels out of hunger, then threw the rest away bc what would make me think it was ok to eat them after everything else was rotten, pathetic third world vibes in this market, defiantly has gone down hill, hope they shut down and use that big space for an actual edible market

We found the grocery side of the store to be a bit dingy with a heavy smell of cigarette smoke inundating the air. The produce didn't seem very fresh, with moldy blackberries, bruised grapes and wilted greens. There were a few great deals, but we ended up not picking up anything after inspecting the fruits and vegetables. With the produce being in such a sorry state, we shudder thinking about the quality of the raw meats here. The patrons mainly congregate around the bakery and kitchen, where EverFresh has a hot prepared foods counter, several ovens pumping out fresh bread, and two spits of fresh shawarma. There were quite a number of workers in the back cooking food and baking fresh bread. As we were quite full from lunch, we only picked up the single item that was recommended by my friend. The food took around 10 minutes to come out and as we were waiting, we saw a steady stream of customers come in to order and pick up bread. Arayes ($8) - This is not on the menu, but if you ask for it, they will make the arayes fresh for you. This consists of a flat 8 inch commercial pita, stuffed with a seasoned meat patty, red bell pepper, and cilantro. When eaten fresh, the pita has a bit of a crunch especially on the outer edges, but it gets soggy pretty quickly due to the excess moisture on the veggies/herbs on the interior. Eat it quickly if you don't want it to get too floppy (3/5). The arayes is served with hummus and pickles on the side. The hummus is pretty coarse and lemony, but seasoned well. Not the best hummus, but better than anything pre-packaged (3/5). The pickles add a nice acidity to balance out some of the fattiness of the meat. This review is purely for the bakery and restaurant inside the market. I would never recommend the grocery section of this store, which would be a 2/5 at max. Now the problem is that the restaurant probably uses the produce and meats from the store which is a bit concerning.... The food tastes good enough, but I'm honestly not sure I would recommend going here given the state of the produce. Overall rating of the food this visit: 3/5
