Good location with ample parking for this well stocked store with great prices. The gardening department was just rampling up for the season, but the selection of houseplants, especially cactus and succulents, was good, and they appeared to be well maintained. read more

I can't leave zero stars or I would! I have yet to have a good experience here. Shopping here is horrible experience. The employees are rude, when you can locate them! But this review is for the delivery experience. I have never gotten my order when scheduled! There has been, on 3 separate occasions that I didn't get my order till the next day! I ordered for delivery once again last night, low and behold it didnt come! I call this morning and they say they dont know what happened but they will send a driver with my order. I wait several hours before calling back only to be told the system somehow has it as pick up instead and won't let them convert to a delivery!!!! IT WAS ORDERED AS A DELIVERY! We ordered 65 pieces of chicken from the deli for a party. They never called us the day of a party to let us know that they didn't get a shipment of chicken this was two hours before the party. We had to call Kroger and they were able to take care of us. Kroger said their chicken is always fresh and never frozen like Walmart. It was absolutely delicious. First off I'm giving 1 star because you can't give less. This Super bad experience was with the AUTO CENTER. I have to say off the bat Horrible. I have had 3 experiences with the auto center in about a 2 month span. First was an oil change. The guy working the counter is clueless. He doesn't seem to be able to answer the simplest questions, The basic how long will this take ? He says there are two cars ahead of you. One already in process and one waiting then you. How long for each I ask. About 20 minutes. I said ok about an hour and it should be done, right ? Yes he says. 2 hours later my truck is done. When checking out I said you did use Dexos right? He says I think,so let me go ask the technician. He comes back and say yes hall of our 0W-20 is Dexos. 2nd experience was with my Truck tires. They wouldn't sell me & put the tires on the truck because I chose 1 with size biggger than it says in the door jam of the truck. They would sell them to me but not put them on. So I bought them took them home and brought the rims with the smaller tires on them and they installed them on the rims. . They say it's company policy they couldn't install them. Experience 3 I took empty rims to them and rims with tire and they unmounted the tire and put them On the empty rims. Then tried to charge me $27 each to balance. Without telling me up front it was $27. I lost it and the above mentioned counter guy couldn't do anything. I ended up going to customer service and taking to the store manager. She refunded a portion of the bill that made it easier to accept. I'm done with any kind of service at Walmart Auto. It was a horrible experience. read more

Out of all the locations I've ever shopped at, Woodhaven is my favorite! They almost always have everything I need in stock. They even have cashiers! It is so nice not to have to deal with self check out. The only reason I did not give it a five is that Subway did not have what I wanted. read more

Store needs to update their hours. First, Yelp site says they're open 24 hours, they're not. Second, they have their hours posted on the entrance, Sundays open till 11p. It's only 10:30 pm on Sunday, they shut the door while many of us were still arriving. It's understandable with covid hours have shifted, however would be good to let everyone know rather than just not letting people in. read more

Today had to use my phone for price check and not one single item had the correct price displayed or was even in the correct spot. Had about 8 items and every single one had a different price than listed. At the register the bottle return receipt shut down the register after that it would NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT. Not credit card, not cash (the cash grabber was not installed) credit card wouldn't process and the poor lady was running everywhere as every junk machine was acting up. After five minutes, I went to family Dollar and made my purchases. Walmart has crossed the line for too much time. I'm done now Walmart. Just done. Can't even pay after the pricing crap. Just not worth my energy or time anymore not a single minute. Our business has concluded. read more

Always pricing issues! You can scan products with the APP but they give you a hard time when the price rings up higher. Annoying

This is a long time coming. I have talked to all of the appropriate people and I am still having the same problems months later. What is the point of curbside pick-up, if I have to go back up to the store to return all the damaged meat and produce I was given? Rotting asparagus, mushy melon, and slimy asparagus. Meat with expiration dates from days ago or hot dogs that the seal is not intact. Produce tossed haphazardly into a shopping bag, rather than a produce bag. That really irks me. That practice feels very unhygienic to me, not to mention- it does nothing for the integrity of my produce. They're are rolls of them in the produce area, I checked when I went back to return my damaged merchaFor the prices being paid I should be able to make it home with bell peppers that aren't cracked and zucchini that aren't impaled from being tossed in a bag with sharp plastic and/or cans. To top it off, the employees seem to find it entertaining to stand back and launch my groceries into the cargo area of my vehicle. Glad I grabbed my eggs before they did. The manager of this area does not seem interested in resolving this issue, nor does corporate. I have called and emailed several times. All I have gotten are halfhearted apologies. I can't chop those up and cook them, so it's really not beneficial to me. I'm done using curbside pick up and I'm done shopping here entirely. read more

Never been a fan of WalMart, but I was wrong. I pass the the local Kroger, pay a bridge toll to leave my community, then head to WalMart in Woodhaven. There I am required to wear a mask before entering the building. Everyone is required to mask up and stay 6 feet apart. This is the safest I have felt while shopping for groceries. I like going to this Walmart instead of the one near me. I can get through the checkout lines rather quickly, no matter what time I go. I like their new order pick up for online orders. If your item is not too big, you can pick it up at the kiosk and not have to wait in line at customer service. They even have chairs where you can sit and waiting for your order to come down. read more

Let me tell you about the rudest unprofessional person I have ever seen at Walmart :) My father was buying wine on a Saturday, I'm 21 years old and my birthday is on 1-27-1997 please keep that in mind! So I go up to the self checkout and I scan a bottle of wine. This woman comes over and says "can I see your ID" mind you I went to the store with my 50 year old father who looks exactly that old! But I understood, so I took out my ID and gave it to her. She stood there for the longest time staring at my ID with this rude ass attitude. It says on my ID that I am under 21 until 1-27-1997. I said that too her and she said "I know you're 21" in the most annoyed and rude tone I have ever heard. After that she still kept looking at my ID and typed in MY BIRTHDAY WHEN MY DAD WAS PAYING FOR IT. Went here to get an oil change because the walmart in taylor said they have no technicians except one so she sent me to woodhaven. I get there and they said they aren't taking anymore cars. Wth!!! Apparently my vehicle runs on love and bubbles for fuel and miles. Don't waste your time at these trash places. I will a NEVER go back. They are ridiculous and could care less for its clientele. I ordered my girlfriend a present online and was told it would be available for pickup on Monday after 6pm. Being out of town, I sent her in to pick it up at around 730 on Monday. The big pickup machine was not working, so she asked multiple staff members for help. Every single employee she asked for help was extremely rude and unhelpful towards her. Turns out the item was delayed, which I was not made aware of until later. A big thanks to the wonder staff for their help. After 5 days of ordering the item, apparently they lost my item and will send a replacement. I love waiting 7 days for Walmart's "2 day free shipping." Horrible shopping experience. read more

As I'm waiting, I cannot help but overhear the woman behind the counter (the employee) talking to another employee about how some neighbor of hers "blew the head off of an animal in her front yard." While the woman in front of me was still there. I mean, you're making people's food all the while talking about a now headless animal. Eww. It's a typical Walmart, but there are so many other stores nearby to where going here doesn't seem to be a regular thing for me. If I do go here, it's usually for a few things really late at night. This Walmart is huge, always well stocked, and clean. The parking lot is pretty spacious compared to other Walmart's in the area, and that's probably because over a dozen other businesses use the massive connected parking lot. They have a good Subway inside too. My only real complaint is their lack of alcohol selections. They have a few coolers of beer cases and a couple of single cans you can buy, but that's it. They don't have any liquor at all. If I'm going mass grocery shopping, I almost always go to Kroger down the street or Meijer next door. You really don't save that much money on groceries at Walmart anyway. read more

I have been to the walmart in woodhaven, michigan three or four times in the last month or so. That has got to be the worst managed walmart in the entire usa. All the walmarts are bad in southeast michigan. The lines to check out at the woodhaven walmart are forty feet long and it takes forty minutes to get to the register to pay for any thing, if not longer. The auto shop is the slowest and worst managed shop I have ever experienced. It took about three hours to rotate and balance my tires the first time I went. Then my car had a bad vibration. I went back and it took a long time again, but they found my car had a bent rim. I got a good used wheel and went back again. It took hours to put the tire on the replacement wheel. Then the mechanic could not figure out how to reset the tire pressure monitering system. He was slow as a turtle and smoking a cigarette the whole time. Seemed like he had never done it before. I went shopping, paid for my stuff and then had to wait another hour or two for the service department to remount and balance one wheel and tire. The service area was ridiculous. There were customers waiting for long periods of time and no one was even at the counter. Then they couldn't figure out how to exchange a customers battery and that took 45 minutes or so. It was awful and the music sucked too. So I finally asked the so called service manager to just ring me up cause my milk was getting warm from waiting there so long. The service manager said there was only one register open. I pointed out to him that there three registers on the counter and open those. He just walked away. Then I had to walk over to the service area and personally supervise the mechanic to get him to do anything. He was too busy smoking from what I saw. Finally, they just gave me my receipt and didn't even charge me anything. That seemed ok, but when I read the receipt it said the customer declined to get the lifetime balance rotation and road hazard coverage. But they never even mentioned that to me the whole two or three hours I was hanging out with the tires and other customers there. So now I have three tires with the roadside hazard and balance and rotate coverage and one without it! Wtf is going on there? They should just close down the entire shop cause it is horribly managed and an embarrassment to walmart. read more

Walmart is not my preferred place to shop but I will have to give them 4 stars. I was greeted at the door good afternoon welcome to Walmart. When I asked where the SD cards were an employee pointed in the direction and then walked me close by. He said if they are locked to let him know. This will be the one negative thing I will say. He walked away and since I knew nothing about buying an SD card and of course they were locked I had to take a short look for him. It would have been better of him not to walk away from me. He did answer my questions sell me the card so I did find out what I needed to know. I also had a hard time cashing out and I received some assistance with that. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because the employee walked away from me when I was asking about the SD cards location but he was very helpful once he began the sale. read more

And I want to know what kind of a store allows you to purchase something on their website and then makes you jump through 20 hoops to return the item through a different vendor? They couldn't even remove my tire to replace it. What autoshop isn't able to remove a tire. Seriously, perhaps they should send someone over to OReilleys Auto Parts to get a reverse threaded locking wheel nut remover. They didn't even have one. Took me an hour just to find this out after multiple transfers back to the Auto Center when unanswered and then a CSM went to track them down and ask. No wonder why so many people are just changing their own tires. With this sort of service, what do you expect. read more

The last 2 times, they left my skid plate on my truck hanging off after I asked them to make sure that it was secure, supposed to change my air filter also...... Never did! I am done with them! This Walmart is much better then some of the other local stores. There have been several times where I left the Monroe Walmart to come here because of a better selection and service. It seems like this store is better stocked than Monroe, and the customer service is often better. I will go to this Walmart instead of the Taylor one if I am in the area. Poorly managed store! Parking lot littered with carts, too few checkout lanes open and if returning bottles the machines are always broke down or no one to empty the bins. Stores shopping carts are in pitiful condition and when a item on shelf sell out it goes unstocked for days and sometimes weeks. read more
