First off, it's WalMart…read more The employee (female, blonde, portly) was the rudest, unhelpful WalMart employee I've ever encountered. Hubs and I were in the self scan to buy 2 cakes. One was very heavy and we wanted to be able to scan it with the gun instead of risk picking it up too much and possibly cracking it. I asked the young lady if she could help us scan it in, possibly type in the numbers for us. She looked at me like she's never been asked to help before. Her job must be to stand there and look huffy and to dare people to ask for help. My husband couldn't find the bar code. She wasn't nice about it AT ALL and said the bar codes are on the bottom. Then looked pointedly at us with a derisive look on her face. No pleasantness at all about this woman. She did NOT want to help. I think it's a dumb idea to put a bar code on the bottom of a heavy cake, especially when there's the option of scanning with the gun. We were trying to handle the cake as little as possible in order to preserve the decorations. Well, my cake cracked anyway. This review isn't because my cake cracked. This employee was beyond rude. Every time I visit this area, I am glad I do not live here.
