My first same day grocery delivery was supposed to arrive by 12pm. I paid 9.99 a charge for the same day delivery order. The driver said she would be late and that she would need an extra $5.00-$10.00 because it was an hour from her. I said I already paid a delivery fee of $10.00. She said she was going to cancel and someone else could take the order.. I said, I planned to tip. She said I could requested her. I called Target to ask about it. They said it wasn't right and they'd have someone else deliver the order. They also sent me $5.00 for my trouble. Later "Lisa" contacted e again and said she could deliver after she picked up her son and dropped off at 3pm... ??? Really I told her I had another delivery person. The next delivery person was very nice and helpful and said the other driver, "Lisa" was wanted by the Meier Store for theft and that was she was a scammer... it's a shame this was my first experience. I'll probably try a different store next time... IDK. read more

I came to this Target (or as my friends pronounce it, "tar jay") to get cards for an upcoming wedding for the next day while we were staying at the Hotel across the street. It's a really big store first of all, one of the biggest I visited in a while but it features everything that you want in your local Target store also as a bonus, it includes a Starbucks which is great for those shopping who don't want to cross the street. We actually picked up more stuff than what we wanted to at the store such as booze and what not. Stuff is actually fairly priced, it's very well stocked and very well maintained as well as clean. The only thing that was disgusting was the bathroom. In fact, the bathroom was pretty hard to find as well. None the less, I'd come back to this place if I am ever in the area. read more

Target has always been one of my favorite stores, but ever since they added groceries a few months ago, I find myself here a few times a week. They have a lot of great food sales and clearances on food and other items as well. Make sure to sign up for their mobile coupons because sometimes you can get free groceries. One time on a whim my husband bought the steak and garlic pinwheels (I think it was the Orchard Farms brand, which is a store brand) They cost around $9 for two tiny pieces of steak but they were one of the greatest items I've ever had from a grocery store. I have my Target routine down pat and my friends make fun of me for how strict I am about following it. Once I walk in the door, I check out the dollar section first, hit the ladies clothes/shoes/accessories then check the men's clothes, electronics/movies/music, FOOD, then the pet supplies. Of course I have to hit the pet section last because my dogs are my children and I want to save the best department for last. I've noticed that Target has a lot less employee turnover than Walmart and I almost always see the same employees every time I go. That's a good sign to show that they really value their employees and treat them well. Another pro tip: you can stack a manufacturer coupon with a Target coupon so you can have even more money to spend here! But beware, if it's TOO good of a deal, the shelf will be cleared and you won't be able to find what you're looking for. I don't blame Target - I blame the crazy couponers in this town. I loooove Target! This one was recently expanded to include more groceries and produce. There's a Starbucks in the front which is pretty much irresistible so I'm always walking around in latte heaven. They always have inexpensive cute things that you don't need but MUST buy (dog tie anyone? Owl figurines? Cotton candy frosting mix?). The clothing selection is pretty great (including Mossimo and Converse One Star) and they often do designer collaborations (the Phillip Liam collection is out now)! They have awesome bedding and housewares. I love the Nate Berkus line! It's funny that I would NEVER EVEREVEREVR get someone a gift from Walmart....but Tarjay? Ohh yeeeah! Best gift ever! The lines often get long but someone is usually controlling said line on awful days. Typically if the lines are long and I only have 2-4 items , I march myself up to the return desk and they always check me out no questions asked! I loathe lines. My single complaint is a poor experience with the pharmacy. I have a prescription I pick up monthly and when I first brought in my script, the tech never even asked for my insurance card. When I asked if he needed it, he told me that because it was a $10 generic, it would actually come out to $10 and some change after it ran through my insurance. Thus, my card never went into their system and I paid a measly $10 for my drug. Fast-forward 6+ months when I get a new insurance card in the mail. While picking up my prescription, I let a different tech know I have a new card. Se asks to make a copy of it and BOOM! Suddenly my prescription is F.R.E.E.! What?!? Be proactive about your insurance and money. That is all. I still use the pharmacy and haven't had another issue. Their bottles are really cool and they will put a different colored ring for each family member on their prescriptions so you don't accidentally grab Dad's beta blocker or some crap. Reading is probably hard, haha. They also have a reward program where if you fill 5 prescriptions, they give you a 5% off coupon for the store. They don't even bat an eye when I absolutely never have my card and they have to look me up. read more

I went into Target to find a no sleeve turtle neck, and ended up finding a sweater dress that was already on clearance, and saw a sign that said with the Target Circle App, it would be an additional 20% off. There was a lovely staff member that confirmed it would be the clearance price with the extra 20% off. There were two colors on the rack so I chose the beige sweater dress. When I went to the register to ring up, the sweater dress rang up 29.99. I brought up the discrepancy, and I was told that since it was different colors, they could be different prices. I told the staff at the register that both sweater dresses were on the same rack on a sign that said 20 % off. The person(s) behind the register there was nothing they can do. I went back to the rack and got the other sweater dress ( that was the same name brand as the clearance dress, same style, just different color), and I brought that to their attention. I was told their hands were tied. The dress should of been on another rack if it was a different price, and the 20 % was not taken off the 14.98 like the lovely associate I spoke when I first found the dress said there should be. The person behind the register told me the person on the floor was mistaken! Very poor experience! read more

This Target needs updating! Not as nice as the one in New Lenox or St. John, my preferred Targets. This Target has very limited choices, and sometimes they don't restock items on the shelf. Long lines at checkout, they seem understaffed at times. read more

I love Target and this is a great one! There's a Starbucks when you walk in (bonus) plus the cafe offers some really good options at a great price! I take my kids there all the time and we eat lunch before shopping. Also, now with the added produce and expanded pantry items we do much of our grocery shopping there as well. Unlike other places I really like that when lines get out of hand there's always a manager on it and opening up other lanes...even on black friday! read more

Great place to shop in the area. I usually go here for clothes, they seem to change our their selection frequently. If you go at the right time they have a great clearance section. So yesterday I went online to place a in store pick up for 2 shabby chic Euro pillows(pink) had a $10.00 coupon went through the transaction to pay as a guest with pay pal , I was suppose to get a confirmation email within 5 hours to let me know when and if I can pick up the pillows I have ordered. NOTHING! It is now 24 hours later there is no email AT ALL !!!! What a waist of time ! And what happened to my Pay Pal Information ?!!! I went thorough with the transaction so my information went where?! It said we will only take the money out of your pay pal at store pick up but TARGET never even send me Pick up information at ALL!!!???? What is going on here?! The number I call for customer service will not give me a real person to talk too!? This is all very fishy to me. BAD Experience! FYI this is the store location for my ordered pick up not the store I had a problem with but since I cant reach anyone this is where I must post.
