This store isn't old by any means. I helped do the construction for it in 2008. But it almost appears to be much older and not taken care of. But my main "gripe" about that store is its lack of stocked items and varieties. For crying out loud, they didn't have gallons of distilled water for a month! So many empty shelves. They keep the items that dont sell or just lazy on stocking? I have no idea. The Kankakee Walmart is 100 times better. But even they are lacking of items too. When you go here, just avoid all the idiotic "woke" people and get your bread and milk. Anything in particular, try elsewhere. read more

Once again , didn't get my oil change done , they failed to tell me that my lugnut was to tight . They couldn't do it , but charged me $12.00 for a top off which. Tried curbside pick up for the first time and the last!!! One of the items that they said was in stock wasn't and we didn't find out till we got to the store. We waited forever to get the items. Why can other stores have the same thing and you get service right away? If you want to watch a movie on your phone while you wait for your items than this is your right place to do it. Worst Walmart around. Seriously. The employees are rude as heck. Foul language towards customers and all. Asking for help is a nightmare. Staff will just ignore you unless it's at the self checkout. Nobody comes to open the makeup or perfume cases. The bathrooms are always filthy. There's always opened bottles of fireball scattered around the store. Clearly this is an ongoing thing. IF you are looking for SPECIFIC items remember to have a back up plan as a recent trip for a SCHEDULED oil change had me running down to Farm and Fleet to pick up an oil filter that Super Walmart staff said.... Supply chain issues..... (Blains had a shelf full of a very popular size so they have it resolved......) If I could give 0 stars I would for the pharmacy. After dealing with them my insurance and the doctor office they didn't want to process my medication because I can buy them over the counter when my insurance covers them. I talked to my insurance and the girl said that both medications my doctor was sending over should be approved but Walmart didn't want to put it through my insurance they wanted me to go in and pay out of pocket! When 1 isn't available over the counter! So off to Meijer pharmacy to pick up my medication! read more

I was shopping after work, about 11 pm, found my items and went to the self checkout. The table scanner wouldn't recognize either of my magazines - had to get help with that. Afterwards, when I got home I noticed I was missing an item. I tried calling the store with the number on the receipt, (which is the same number on the website). The phone rang ceaselessly. Why have a store open 24 hours if no one answers the phone? That's poor service. Step it up Walmart!! read more

I'll never shop here again. Specially after today's incident where the person checking receipts this morning was rude as hell. Came to buy a small hand vacuum and on my way out the store , my Shoulder bumped into the sensor and she saw me bump into it which set it off, I had my receipt in hand for that one item and I explain I had just bumped and set the alarm off and she asked for my receipt and even as I tried explaining that I bumped into the sensor she saw me bump into , she walks away after saying well you set the alarm off with attitude. If I could give a zero rating I would. Do not go to this location for an oil change. They are extremely incompetent!! I got an oil change here and when it was time for my next oil change, I went somewhere closer to where I live. The person could not even empty the old oil because the person at Walmart that did the oil change before completely stripped the bolt then used some kind of glue to close it and never told me that they did it!!! I was in today to do some shopping and I was going to look at a computer. I had found one at Best Buy for $379.00 on sale. Walmart had the same HP model for $399.00 I spoke to Forrest who was very helpful but said they would not match the price of Best Buy. I said are you going to let me walk out with over $450 in my cart and just let me go? He said let me call a manager. After a few seconds he said the boss said it's ok. Total sale $480.00 Thanks to John and Forrest I did everything in one stop. Don't ever let a customer walk out without trying to get them happy. This Walmart could have lost me for $20 not much to Walmart but a lot to me. read more

It's a great store that has a lot of things to buy if you're in need of something. They have food, groceries and all other kinds of stuff you can buy for the every day needs of your household. Just like any other Walmart out there though, the people are pretty interesting inside of there. People seem to take advantage of the little rascal scooters that probably don't necessarily actually need them. I've seen multiple people walk in there just fine in and get on a rascal scooter. It's unfortunate because the people that may actually need them don't have access to them because of the lazy people. read more

Soo funny that I get to review Walmart. My son is an over the road truck driver and it is amazing that they cobble together a life from this walmart when he is in town. I think had it not been but for walmaer, he would have no clothes and never have a hot meal. Nice folks that work here for years and years. Store always busy but in a friendly way. They keep it pretty clean here and the deli staff really know the various meats and cheeses really well. I was suprised that a gal at the deli gave me her own recipe for chicago style italian beef sandwiches when my spouse was away and I was existing on beef jerky. Always the best prices in the area and actually a very good selectiin of artisinal cheeses....who knew you could buy dashi and kimchi at Walmart!?! Hey it is not whole foods here but then again prices are lower than Ultra and Food for less. I cant wait to see the competition heat up with Aldi opening across the street. Now they even have a healthcare clinic in here! Not sure I would have any brain surgery from these folks, but you gotta love a grocery where you shop, eat a subway, then get your prostate checked. read more
