I have been a customer for about 5 years, my journey began in the Mokena office. When I called to make an appt, they were booking appt's out over a mth. I could not wait that long. I was told abt the location in Manhattan, the rest is history. We were so excited to see Dr, Lopez there, I told my husband that our office going forward is in Manhattan. What Dr, Lopez has given is us priceless. His expertise and talent is very hard to come by now a days. Jennifer and that staff is exceptional. Anytime friends or family ask who our optometrist is. I forward them to Dr, Lopez at Absolute vision and why do I? Because Dr, Lopez is the Best!! I tell them why do u think its called Absolute Vision? Because Absolute Vision Care has the ABSOLUTE BEST in Doctors in vision care. Wishing u the best for the Holidays to all of u at the Manhattan office.

We appreciated this eventually being made right. ----- Spent just shy of $800 on 3 pairs of glasses. Daughter needed 2 pairs for different uses, and there was a misunderstanding between the tech and my wife with regard to a $50 rebate. Rebate only applied if she bought both pairs that day, whereas my wife understood it to be within 30 days. When the total we paid didn't add up with me, I called to question and was promised to receive a callback. Didn't get it. A week later I called back and was put in touch with the tech who worked with my wife. After talking with her, I was promised a callback. A week later, it hasn't come. Any time I DID get to talk with them, it seemed to be "the customer is always wrong." My biggest issue is the lack of decency of giving callbacks when promised.

Not long ago someone from Shelle Optical called and was loud on the phone asking me why i did the post and why i didnt call them ,Truth is after i was there several times and they didnt listen then why would they now. Spending 1300.00 dollars and no good results is not good business and so this person i told her she could have the glasses and i want a refund since we do have laws that you cant do this to people . I went there so i could see letters and numbers not the TV . This person said she had to speak to her manager and it would be about a week , i gave her over a month and this is why i say opinions my vary but i follow my gut . there is more

Dr. Steve Bubanko is so informative when going over your results. The eyes and the mechanics behind them are truly fascinating. Afterwards he suggested I might be interested in progressive glasses. He explained how they work but he did not push or pressure me into my decision. When I did make that decision to give them a try, the ladies up front were so helpful. I must have tried on 10 pairs and the ones I did try on, they set aside to sterilize later. On a side note, I have a special needs son that has gone in to see Dr. Bubanko years ago. Steve's patience and caring was nothing short of amazing. There can be no other eyecare facility as great as this one.

First they carry a very limited selection of glasses frames, mostly for older patients. Not to many current frames for tweens and teens. They kept pushing glasses on my child, who clearly was not happy with anything, she was gracious and tried some on. I could tell she was getting frustrated and overwhelmed by their pushy behavior. We finally convinced them there was nothing here for her. Got her prescription and got out of there.
