I must say that the very negative review sounds so unlike Dr. Kritz that it must have been a case of mistaken identity. Dr. Kritz has been my doctor for several years now, and I have always found him to be patient, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I give four stars only because of the poor office management, in my opinion. It is so difficult to get through by phone, especially during this Covid fiasco. A sad case in point was in May when I fractured my wrist and tore a major ligament in my hand. Stupidly, I did not go to emergency but toughed it out over the weekend and attempted to call Pavilion Family Physicians on Monday. I could not get through the entire Monday. Were they afraid of catching Covid over the phone? The next day, after a couple of hours, I was able to get through. By the time I got an appointment, it had already been 5 days of pain. When I arrived at the medical building, there were, understandably, sentries at the main door, then a nurse sentry at the Pavilion door in full PPE. When entering the desk and waiting room, I found the place empty with the exception of two desk clerks. Finally, upon seeing Dr. Kritz, I discovered that he was not able to do anything without x-rays, so he set up an appointment for that, which was the next day. Those results were not able to get to me until the following Monday, so it was over a week to find out I had a fracture and needed a cast. But...this could not be done at Pavilion, I had to be referred to a orthopedic specialist. A referral was made that day, but it was another several days before I could get in to see the orthopedic surgeon....which was to become another medical misadventure soon to be seen in an upcoming Yelp review. read more
