I've been a patient here for a few years now and have never once been seen by Dr. Debin herself. Luckily she has some wonderful physician associates like Dr Caro. I schedule all my appts w her by request. She's personable and knowledgeable and has warm bedside manner. Every appt is hit or miss. Some days everyone's on top of things and I'm in and out in less than 30 min. Other days, it seems like everyone's off their game and it takes an hour to get out of there. In the past I've had issues getting my insurance updated. It would take a couple visits or calls to remind them to update my info. There process and system is out dated in comparison to other doctor's my family sees. Such as prescriptions are still manually handed to you instead of directly sent to your pharmacy. They are very personable and give you a warm welcoming , just like family or better at times. Bri their Physician Assistant is my girl!!!! I called Dr Debin's office at 10:15 PM expecting to leave a voicemail for an appointment tomorrow. However, to my great surprise, a person picked up the call, took some of my information and symptoms, and put Dr. Debin on the phone to chat with me! Because of the severity of my symptoms, she assured me she could get me in to an appointment tomorrow, and was genuinely concerned about seeing me tonight if I was too uncomfortable. I have never received such an amazing level of service from a doctor before. I have been to Dr Debin's once before (I moved to the area about 5 months ago) and was very happy with the treatment I received then as well. Just great patient care. read more

Office was not up front with costs. After a follow up visit with a physicians assistant to discuss lab results for my wife and I, we received a $200+ bill from the doctor's office. This was after we asked if there would be any charge. We contacted the doctor's office to see if the fee could be lowered and they were not willing to do anything to work out a lower fee. I never even saw the doctor. They also tried to upsell me on Methylated Folate for $80 a bottle, which sells for $15 a bottle on Amazon, and weight loss treatments, as well as spa treatments. We will never go back, and don't recommend them. read more

If I can rate per person I've dealt with, that would be great. I give Stephanie Chamani 5 stars because she was most helpful. She listened and was patient. The other staff however.... Could brush up on their following up skills. I can't tell u how often I've had to follow up on calls with this office. No one gets back to you when you leave a message in the early afternoon to request a call back. I only picked this practice because others rated it 5 stars... When i originally called to make an appt for something, they could have easily referred me to their partner and me not have to deal with this office. but no, they decided they want my co pay money and the insurance money as well to see them and come back to see their partner to comes on an appt basis only. I come back to the doctor I'm suppose to see and he makes me wait 40 mins after my appt scheduled time. That frustrates me like no other. I mean, why should I even bother making an appt if they are going to waste my valuable time??? Maybe I should just read the horrible ratings and go from there instead. read more

BEWARE if you are researching for a new doctor office!! DO NOT TRUST this doctor office because they take NO RESPONSIBILITY to what they say! I scheduled our annual physical exam at Susan Debin's office. The physician assistant, Bre, suggested blood test and said it's covered by insurance and next visit is all covered by insurance. I was so relief at first and I even told Bre about my husband's experience with UCI medical center that they billed us for picked up the lab report and visited the doctor for 5 mins. She was surprised and told us a similar experience with her home contractor. After the lab took my blood, I went to the front desk and checked with the office if there will be any charges or co-pay for our next visit. They said no copay and no charges, it's 100% covered by my insurance. To our surprise, after the next appointment, I got lab review fee explanation for almost $100 in the mail. They tell you they won't bill you for lab test but for me it was $100 for me talking with a physician assistant for 15mins! I called the lab and Shawn told me they take care of the lab work charges even insurance do not cover it. No one ever mentioned about separate charges on picking up and reviewing the lab test. No one ever give me an estimate when I ask. And oh, I scheduled lab review and well women exam visit together but then when I came in, they didn't do the well woman exam in that same visit. They have to separate your well woman exam and you lab review so they can charge you once for lab review and then charge your well woman exam to your insurance. I think they can't just say whatever they want to get you to the office visit because you are ultimately responsibly for your bill regardless of what they say to you. They take no responsibility of what they say and even deny telling me their misleading information. Our insurance cut them a check with our HSA account because we had the auto-pay. I felt like we have been robbed! I found out from the billing department that the office hired a bunch new girls and maybe that's what they seem so inexperience. I contacted Wendy, their manager, and she didn't reverse or reduce our charges. Saying it was because they have a contract with the insurance about pricing and my deductible hasn't met yet. They don't do what is right for their patient. DO NOT TRUST whatever they say to you because they don't back up to what they say to you. Do not recommend!! read more

I have been to a ton of different doctors for the past 15 years for medical issues and I am very impressed with the office and staff. Diane (N.P.) is AMAZING! She really cares about her patient and spends time to explain things to you. I feel trust her completely and would recommend Diane to any loved one because I trust she will always put the patient first. I have been going to Doctor Debin for as long as I can remember. She is gentle, understanding and she really listens to you. I put my complete trust in her when it comes to my medical issues. I have thyroid and heart issues and she has been so caring about all of the concerns I have. I would recommend Dr. Debin to anyone. She has a lot of great features to her practice as well. I noticed that they do laser treatments and skin treatments. I personally have not had them done, but my mom likes to get some of the treatments sometimes, and she has been absolutely satisfied. This review is specifically for Bre Caro and the support staff/nurses as I haven't seen anyone else in this office. I was referred to Dr. Debin's office by my friend to see Bre. She is the best doctor I have ever been to, hands down. She takes the time to explain everything to you and answer any questions. She is seriously the sweetest and nicest person. And she definitely knows her stuff. I would not go to anyone but Bre ever. I didn't know what was wrong with me, just that I didn't feel good. There was no other way for me to describe it. And Bre went through everything to try and figure out the problem while doctors I had gone to in the past just pretty much told me there was nothing they could do. They also have an in house lab for blood work which is really nice. And all the staff is soooo sweet. I am a big baby when it comes to taking blood and they make it as easy as possible. My first ever 5-star review, beginning with the courteous person who took my call and worked me in same day, then the friendly receptionist when I first walked in, followed by the medical assistant who was great, presented herself in a positive, professional manner, gave me a shot I just barely even felt. Cleanliness of the waiting room and examination room. Most of all the thorough job, Ms. Donna Valentine did for me while feeling totally lousy, it was apparent she wanted to help, listened and got down to business. A special thanks to her especially for taking extra time to help me get better as quick as possible... I was feeling so much better within a hour of taking the antibiotics! Personal opinion: Unethical Practice! Beware! I thought I had lucked out when we moved here recently and found this practice with high ratings on health grades. Unfortunately, I was wrong. This practice fraudulently charged our insurance for blood work they said was free if the insurance didn't pay. I went in because I knew I had come down with walking pneumonia and I had a newborn and 2 little ones, not to mention my husband, at home. The nurse practitioner, who is the only person you'll see, apparently, (even though I have a PPO), made me do breathing tests, blood work and go for a chest X-ray. Really?!?!?! The next day I took my kids to their pediatrician who diagnosed me with walking pneumonia in less than 3 mins. She additionally told me that the Rx they prescribed was "inappropriate" for this strand. Since I was breast feeding she knew I needed to be careful, but that I also needed it to get better-fast. She called me in 2 different rx's. After researching what the nurse in Debin's office had prescribed me, I was furious. It may not have worked and it may have caused serious other issues. Wow, incompetent? Malpractice suit in the making?!?!? Then came the EOB for the blood work. $3000....who are you kidding?!?!?!? Even our insurance told us they "laughed" at this doctor for such a ridiculous bill. Needless-to-say, this office has a contract with the blood work company and you pay nothing, but it was funny to get something so absurd. I never went back to have the blood work read, THANK GOD after reading their fraudulent charges for reading your blood work! Thanks to our kids pediatrician, we found an amazing doctor who truly believes in his profession. Dr. Debin should be ashamed of herself and the oath she took as a practitioner. Price gauging, lying and incorrect diagnoses. Shame on you Ms. Debin! So, the entire experience was really bad. We Strongly DO NOT recommend this medical provider. read more

The providers are the best. Dr. Debin and her staff are great! My PA-C, Breanna is amazing! She is one of the best medical providers I have ever come accross! So comfortable at this office. I see Bre Caro and appreciate her attention to detail and how personal she is about not only your physical health, but what else may be impacting you. The staff is very helpful and will get to know you by name. Although they are incredibly busy, I can always get an appointment within a day or two of calling. As much as I want to write that they are awesome here I just can't. The staff leave you waiting over an hour just to see a physician. If you plan to come in quickly then I suggest you look elsewhere. The process is literally draining. read more

The physicians/doctors, Bre & Robin are AMAZING, but the front office staff? Don't ask to many questions because you will soon get a different treatment. They make you feel like they've got something better to do; rushed with a bit of attitude in their voices. We been coming to this office for maybe 10 years I have two young adult daughters that have dealt with different complications and Bre has been a life saver. The only thing that I am disappointed is that you use to come there and feel like you mattered you weren't just another dollar sign lately everything has changed to even the office name its more of a corporate wanting to see how much they can bill regardless if its hurting their patients. Its sad that the medical industry is moving that way , as people as human beings we don't matter its the insurance and how much they can bill even if its putting the patient in a financial hole :( sad. But like I mentioned doctors/physicians are great there was a point when I felt like it was ran like a small town doctors that the kind of environment meaning no rushing out of there really asking questions and caring about the patients they would even make house calls and yep its all gone .... BE CAREFUL with this practice. It's a FRAUD! This is a personal experience. I am a physician myself and went to this clinic a few times and saw the incompetency in the nurse practitioners there as well as the greed of the MD who owns this clinic. First of all, the NP barely has any medical knowledge, she prescribed the wrong medicine for a treatment that was not even required in the first place. And she cannot interpret any lab results and asks you to repeat them even though it was completely unnecessary! After realizing how incompetent the NP was, I decided to see the MD only. I waited 3 hours in the office and she only spent 10 minutes in the room with me. And asked me to buy all these unnecessary vitamins that costs $65 a bottle/month, and of course, those vitamins are not sold anywhere but in her office! WTF! It is almost malpractice what they are doing in that clinic. Most people don't realize because they don't have the medical background, but trust me, AVOID this clinic! They don't know what they are doing and they only care about your money! Oh and once they said they won't charge co-pay for this repeat visit, but of course, they still did! Another time they charged for the full amount of Depo shot even though I had bought and brought my own Depo to the office! The MD in the office try to use medical words and tells you that it's because "you don't understand"... and try to trick you into buying those expensive unnecessary vitamins. So clearly the reviews on this site are either 5 star or 1. Either great experience or horrible. I can only by my own personal experience. My adult son's been going here for about year for multiple issues and has nothing but good things to say about this practice. He's seen both Bre the PA and Donna the other PA. My husband and I started going earlier this year as it was close to our work. We've both see Bre, one of the PA's and Dr. Debin regularly. I can't say enough great things about either one of them. They are so caring and extremely thorough and accessible, which is important. Bre's educated at UCSD my alma mater so he gets brownie points for that for sure. I had an emergency one weekend and Dr. Debin called me right back and got me fixed up immediately plus saw me on the Monday following the weekend too. Bre, who we see the most, is the best for sure though! She's such a sweetheart and really takes the time to get to know you personally. Going to this practice is like going to family, because that's how they treat you, as if you were one of their own personally family members. Their front office, nurses and blood draw department are all amazing people too, and I don't say that lightly. If there's an issues (if you read my other reviews), I will tell you like it is. I read a lot of reviews for long wait times here, but so far I've never waited once, and I've been in more times than I can count. My husband and son haven't experienced long wait lines either. Also, I've always received prompt calls back on any test results and referrals. I know they offer weight loss programs but I've only gone for regular appointments for medical concerns so I can't offer any opinions on that. I haven't had any billing issues either. I think it's important for people to know whether or not their insurance company covers a medical provider they are seeing, and the labs etc that might be attached to it. I've never received any surprise bill or anything not covered. All my referrals have been to doctor's that also take my insurance, which has been great too, and the doctors that they've referred me to are also well educated and experts in their fields. I have been a patient at Dr. Debin's for years. I always see one of the P.A.'s because it's just easier for check ups. I read all the reviews & how people complain about the time that they have to wait. No matter what... Dr's schedules quickly change without notice. An earlier patient may have had more in depth questions, needed a longer procedure than first thought... I also work for a Dr's office in Anaheim Hills & we hear the same things. Always, no matter who or what Dr you go to ~ please allow yourself an hour in the office. Her wonderful staff are very helpful, they work with you (they have with my wife & I) Please understand that if you call & they aren't able to get back to you like you want... Stop & think about calls you have been too busy to return. They all work very hard. It's not easy working in a Dr's office... but it is very rewarding. Just had an emergency where the left side of my face lost mobility, and I called in and Kiesha answered. I explained my situation [I was totally freaking out] and she kept me calm, and told me to come in. When arrived, I was greeted and roomed quickly. My nurse, Stephanie took my vitals, and kept me as calm as possible [cannot stress on how well each person who worked with me kept me as calm as possible]. My doctor Breanna Caro was in my room shortly, and she kept me well informed and she even made me crack a smile :] She told me that I had bells palsy, which is curable, and that I would be alright. I cannot explain how relieved I was, but more importantly, these amazing people made me feel safe and well taken care of while I was in a stressful situation. BEWARE!!! All the reviews that state the office staff is bad are correct. There are two good girls, and one great PA, but the PA did drop the ball this last time with an awful infection I have. She has helped me, but it took 18 months of suffering before she would do the right thing. She also stands up for her staff. Her nurse Pam is awesome, great, another girl at the front desk, Keisha is awesome and great. Susie who takes care of insurance and referrals does not know insurance, yet she is in charge of it. Wendy tries to make it appear she really cares, but she wings it as well. Oh, just sent the fax, (not) Oh - just sent the referral, (not) excuses upon excuses, placations. Doc Debin used to be a premier doc in her day, but now, she is hardly ever in the office, has a horrible on-call doc who just tells you to go to the ER, his name is Dr. Flores. This office put me through the ringer. The spa looks very old and unkept, plus she charges the same prices as if you were in a Newport Beach office. Her office is old and unkept. She is very cheap. She has lost at least 2 great docs, and a few great PA's in the past 4 years. She burns everyone out. The girls have no office manager, no one to be accountable to. They just do and say whatever covers their backsides. Keisha, Pam and Donna will probably leave someday too when they have had enough. They are too good for that office. Don't go there, they will make you more ILL instead of better. I am changing PCP's asap, found one, really looking forward to no hassles and being well. read more
